I didn't know that transform cc can stop Akai's ultimate and Knock-ups can't be reduced by resilience. So that's why Minotaur's still a high tier tank. I still learn new knowledge about the game despite having played it since release.
Vale can give vision with his second skill on bushes. Unlike Selena (first) skill or nana second skill, if you put his second skill even in the edge of a very large bush, it gives vision on the entire bush area.
There are so many good novaria players nowadays it's kind of a pain in the butt. I just pick her asap to deny it to the opponent. As pos4 main, it's easy to recommend these for soloq: lylia, novaria, vex, faramis. They are really reliable, and most importantly it's very easy to stay alive when being targetted.
Faramis is nerfed, once you get out of his ultimate circle, you can't be invincible anymore. And his ultimate is very small lol, easy to get out of it.
I agree, besides, of all the heroes, Lunox was the character that had the most victories compared to other heroes I've played. But, it depends on each person.
I can play kagura or any mage but Lunox I think she's the hardest mage I can master lol I get annoyed and a headache playing her and I'm in mythical glory rank 😂

Valir solid for sure and can definitely creep into this list given the right enemy lineup. But IMO his dmg can be quite lacking if you're not landing your shots well. Is also abit behind these other mages in late game due to poor wave clear and lower damage. Too many boxes to tick for me.

Ice Cream Wand eh kind of disagree with novaria, mainly because the lack of CC... having CC for midlaner actually helps a lot even if you don't deal much dmg... poking is nice but can easily countered by heal roamer such as mino, loli, mathilda, etc you don't even need athena to counter her dmg as healer roamer because you can easily outheal her dmg (from personal experience) if Xavier is there then i do think Cecilion deserve one too because both of them are late game midlaner and has same weakness. imo Cecilion is actually easier to use Valir is still good to use against Tank/Fighter jungler Zhask as well, because his ult can be considered as similiar to odette's ult Lunox, Harith probably deserve a spot... tho Harith is more Goldlaner than Midlaner Cool video tho
Good shouts overall. Yes healer roam can somewhat reduce effectiveness of Novaria's poke, but counters exist for for every hero anyway, so she's not perfect but good enough IMO. A good Nova just pins the enemy back that it makes it so hard to contest any objective without taking big risks. Yeah Ceci, Valir and Lunox are definitely solid too.
I agree on odette im an odette player and she's one the the mage heroes is easy to use and deals alot of damage i love to use her shes very strong and even can counter certain of heroes for example tanks fighters and assassin
i'm just glad people start noticing underrated vale and you put him in the second place. yes his dmg seems weaker than other mages but his cc is annoying especially if you buy enchanted talisman to spam more cc. also with recently revamped blood wings his survivability boosted a lot in mid game. this hero carried me through epic, legend, till mythic at 94% win rate (for this current season only). on the other hand, i know vexana crowned as the current meta but i only have 60% winrate on her. idk but she seems easier to die than vale.

Great list! I personally main Valir and I think he also packs a good punch with the right tactics. That said, I wouldn't recommend him for beginners who solo queue. It took me a few months to master him and get a good win rate and MMR. I think any mage would do well with good practice and mastery of their kits.
I recommend using heroes that are hard to kill: lylia, nana and novaria. I sometimes pick Xavier if the opponent have tank/fighter jungle and no assassin. Nana is your safe bet as she has both the damage and the stun if you are picking first. Novaria if they have more than two squishy heroes. Lylia is really good and can be played in many lineups but I mainly choose her when out team have a cc hero.
Lunox is a actually good choice. If you meet a good lunox, she can literally crush all mages mentioned here alone. Her revamp made her easier to switch state, and dark ult has no mana consumption, and her light ult immunity is everyone’s nightmare.
I was so behind in gold while playing louyi but after losing the game I checked the dmg percentage and it was 52 …that’s the highest dmg I have seen so far in a mage hero…..but yeah you need a good front liner to focus on these combos

Another thing I picked up from this video is that... Indonesian tends to not communicate in English at all 😂 As an Indonesian myself, i think the playerbase from our region is huge enough to not be forced to play cross region. Also the fact that many people like to use fake gps didn't help it either. I've seen some MY and SG on my matches and I'll just assume "oh they're Indonesian who use fake gps" 😂
Another mage you can add is kagura, harith or valir Valir is just a pain to fight with. His second skill can counter dash skills like guin, joy or gus. His skill one also has unlimited uses when hitting an enemy Plus he has a buff of all of his skill with his ulti. Kagura has mobility crowd control and cc immunity with her second skill, big damage of first skill and her ULTi has 2 uses which can compress enemy's and can push them away. This needs skill tho Harith has extremely big damage specially as a jungler. This also needs practice and skills but can help you rank up easily when you know how to use it
im surprised that kagura wasnt mentioned. she has pretty good damage and a good amount of cc, poke, burst, and a good amount of escape tools. a good kagura will be able to time their stuns well enough to escape unharmed.

novaria almost has the same playstyle as gord clear lane in less than 2 seconds rotate fire a flameshot but better come back to mid repeat on mid to late game just be annoying and prevent 1v1s as there might be a risk of ally being 1v2+ and focus enemy mm and mage

I think that Oddete is controversial its either she is op in a match or a total weakling if the enemy has a hero with knockup effect she is doomed in the laning phase she is strong against the high ground Mages (pharsa, yve, Xavier, etc) but against the other meta Mages she is weak Kadita has petrify and second skill to counter her plus ulti immune towards Odette nana has her passive and she can use Molina to stop oddete, novaria and lylia out range and can her poke her with insane damage, faramis has good Mobility, poke and ulti against her and vexana her Guards Knock up plus she can poke and damage oddete and unlike the other Mages Odette needs specific tank for her Deadly combo to work so yeah she is an amazing mage but based on my experiment she is situational let me know what y'all think

With gord, I was in the 4th position from my state and i have to say you can play with the character till legend but it's impossible beyond that... Assassin are the real nightmare for gord because of his mobility and even though skill one is for stunt but it's doesn't help much as fighter or an assassin will kill gord without any difficulty....

Bro why is Luo yi not here she's so terrifying and annoying to go up against because of her ult and passive, follow that up with the shield she gets every time she hits someone with her first skill that she just becomes so hard to kill.
As for the official isoya ranking, for me personally its, 1. Vexana 2. Nana 3. Novaria 4. Gojo 5. Odette 6. Lylia 7. Vale 8. Gord honorable mentions: Faramis, Luo Yi, Aurora, Kadita, Harith (altho more as goldlaner)
I would disagree with your Novaria’s take. It’s okay to not hit every shot with her 2nd skill, she’s also a utility mage so help your team by providing vision, a lot of vision. I prefer building her with high CD items to spam her 2nd and 3rd skills for constant vision and hit-box. I think what matters the most is how you position yourself during rotations and teamfight, so utilize the rocks and terrain.
Crazy especially in non-solo games and against enemies that don't know what to do with her. Good shout for sure, but still below Top 8 for me overall in solo.
Vexana is very annoying and can prevent ebemy from recall to base went there is back door. I rarely use her since every single time i use her it alway a losing battle, talk about curse.i once reach 10 lose streak alone because of this curse.
Eudora and Cyclops can work, but are highly situational and are mostly outshadowed by most other mages generally. Not saying they're bad, but more often than not, another pick is better.

Assassin are the real nightmare for gord because of his mobility and even though skill one is for stunt but it's doesn't help much as fighter or an assassin will kill gord without any difficulty....
Which is why he's only 8th. If he had some anti-dive tools he would have been higher!

Sounds like a good suggestion! For now, maybe just take a short break from MLBB to get off the tilt. Maybe play something chill like fruit ninja can get your mind off things for abit :) Or you can watch stuff like MPL which are ongoing.

I would disagree with your Novaria’s take. It’s okay to not hit every shot with her 2nd skill, she’s also a utility mage so help your team by providing vision, a lot of vision. I prefer building her with high CD items to spam her 2nd and 3rd skills for constant vision and hit-box. I think what matters the most is how you position yourself during rotations and teamfight, so utilize the rocks and terrain.
If you’re missing more than 20% of your skill shots, in solo queue, tell me, who is going to carry you? Randoms?
I disagree with Novaria, I don't think it's that good for soloq, Vale is a horrible wizard

Vexana is very annoying and can prevent ebemy from recall to base went there is back door. I rarely use her since every single time i use her it alway a losing battle, talk about curse.i once reach 10 lose streak alone because of this curse.

Eudora and Cyclops can work, but are highly situational and are mostly outshadowed by most other mages generally. Not saying they're bad, but more often than not, another pick is better.
