Hi Karen. I'm not a coat person. I get too hot in them. I'm 74 and I do like an animal print. Mainly tops with jeans or leggings, nothing over the top! Love my gilets. Great for in the car and round the shops, even out walking. Don't get too hot. I have a couple of the longer length with hoods. In fact, I wore one this morning to watch my great granddaughter play footie. Just ideal weather for it. Just got to say they won and she scored her first goal lol. Not a fan of capes but some lovely ones. Thanks for sharing xx

I feel in this country and certainly where I live something that is showerproof preferably with a hood. I feel the cold so I like padded. A couple of years ago I bought a black quilted showerproof from F&F at Tesco. It is quite long on me as I am only 5ft, but I like that as it keeps my legs warm. A gilet wouldn't keep my arms warm enough. You put such a lot of work into your videos. Thank you.❤

Gilets are much more comfortable to drive in. Not restricting your arms but keeping your body warm. ❤

Gosh Karen, you put so much work into this video! It’s like having a personal shopper. There were 4 items I really loved. I can confirm that gilets are fantastic. You don’t get overheated but they keep the core of your body warm, which is where it’s needed.

Exactly what I'm going to do. I've got several smart jackets. And several Coats and Capes. I have a leopard print coat, jacket , shoes and skirt. I NEVER wear them together, just 1 piece at a time. It can be stylish and smart, depending on what it's teemed with. I love a smart coat, though, for going out for meals. Thanks Karen

Morning Karen ❤ After a day when no jacket required, I think that a raincoat is the order of the day here in Lancashire. My preferred Autumn jackets/coats are Jack Murphy - I have 3 colours in 3 different sizes 😂 This year I upsized my denim jacket with one from Roman. Haven’t worn it yet and likewise not yet worn a leopard print from M & S bought a few years ago and not worn. I must stop saving things for “best” an ingrained habit I fear from childhood.
Thank you for taking the time to do the research. Of those featured my favourite is the khaki green cape. I agree that the stripes one reminds me of Joseph haha.

Hi Karen, loved the vlog I have a ruched jacket which I bought from M&S last year I have only worn it a couple of times perhaps I will haul it out for the Autumn it is in a beige colour.❤️❤️

I saw the jacket in M&S I have a jacket similar to that but it’s quilted and it is warm. I love the leopard skirt which s a summer one but I wouldn’t wear the trousers as people would think I was mutton dressed as lamb lol. Love a gilet as I packed this when I moved and it just disappeared when I got here. All the electrical stuff had gone. Half my clothes but the guy whose business type was told
Me that his staff fit steal. I put these on a list for the council and they couldn’t help me either so needless to say I won’t e using them again
A scuba jacket is like a foam I would call it but has a fabric finish

I've just thrown out a couple of jackets I'd had for years so looking for some new ones. I find I need Autumn weight and then Winter weight as two separate items as I feel the cold. As I mostly use public transport gilets are not great for me (except as an extra layer round the house) because my arms get too cold!

Thanks Karen I like leopard print but in little bits a scarf , a muted tote shopper or gloves .I've worn gilets for years , very handy in the garden ,and a beige one to go over any colour when out walking . I get my retail fix buying on eBay , some beautiful quality clothes hardly worn or new ,at a fraction of the price and can contact the seller for any measurements .
I used to have a cape when I was a kid... I hated it! lol, it was green with silver buttons! Looked a bit Austrian/Swiss style... I felt like Heidi
Such a good video! Interesting topic. I did laugh when you said about capes making you think about Superman or Batman 🤣 but I liked the burgundy one from Evans and the khaki green one from Kit and Kaboodle.
I think you would like a gilet Karen ! Nice and cozy ! I have a bright green one I need to wear 🕶️when I’m wearing it 🤣, but it looks good with black jeans/ trousers and a black fleece or sweater.
I don’t like capes 🤔, a funny story, back in the early 70’s , I live in Malta( my dad was in the RAF) we came back to UK, and before we left, I made a magenta coloured cape🤢, fully lined with matching skirt, and trousers 😮, I was only 13, and was so proud of myself…..vile colour though 🤢🤢🤣🤣
I dont need any jackets - wear my denim in the summer.
Too many winter coats so i dont need anything
