Wow, you guys deserve so so many more subscribers. You really embody the adventurous side of trail running, exploring new areas, rather than just the racing side of running. And such a beautiful place you live which I would have no idea of without watching your videos. Cheers to you! Amazing content creators!
Rick Ruggles - hey, thanks Rick! I think we’re pretty poor at marketing ourselves, we just rely on people discovering and sharing:) We raced a 100k recently and it was a great experience but there’s nothing like just getting out and exploring. Most races follow fairly good beaten paths, and involve joining a queue of others. And there’s something special about getting out there by yourself(selves). But the occasional race is also fun, I guess:) Thanks again mate - really appreciate your comments. Al the best Nord & Flo
It was "actually really amazing" and such a pleasure to meet you both while I was running along Sandy Bay Rd this morning. I had watched this video just last night and loved the conversation between 'Runner Nord' and 'Nerd Nord' about putting the map in. You said you don't receive so many comments from Tassie locals so here I am trying to redress that. It's wonderful seeing how you portray our beautiful island home, so thanks again for all the inspiration.
Hey Robert - It's true we don't hear from a lot of locals - so awesome to meet a real-life Tassie viewer! Thanks for stopping to say hi - it was great to meet you. We were just trying to film a little for next week's video - you might well see yourself in the drone footage:) Glad you liked the video - it was a lot of fun to make. Got some fun planned for next week's too.
Cheers Jeff - thank you mate, glad you liked the video! I know - there have been days when I have gone through that creek almost up to my thighs! I'd noticed your video on Adams Falls - need to check it out still - hadnt been there so will look forward to watching yours.
This one had a bit of everything! Looked a beautiful day for a run, the light was great, birdsong on the trail. Flo was in form with the comedy quips too, haha. The channel growth will be exponential I think - 2,000 subscribers in no time. I just can’t believe poor Nord was stuck home while his bossy brother was out with Flo :) Thanks for sharing, another superb video.
Tobs - always good when it starts with some vegan tucker! Cheers mate - winter here is a generally pretty reliable season (although its still only autumn) not as windy and the sun lower so the light is often really nice. Flo was in good form alright - didn’t even mind the teasing about the grilled Anzac biscuits 😀 Only problem is finding enough time in the day to do everything we want to (and have to ☹️) - sometimes I think it would be pretty nice to have a clone of myself. All the best Nord & Flo
I’m really getting into my plant-based foods too but can’t quit the cheese yet as it is a big part of my diet. It’s unseasonably cold here, we’ve had just one warm day and it’s well in to Spring now. :(
Warning. here comes my weekly WOW and in AWE message. Folks, you two have once again stepped it up! Done a wonderful job, no a BEAUTIFUL job in sharing once again another amaizng journey. Now all i am thinking about is where I can go next hahah thanks for the inspiration and thanks for the awesome content and CONGRATZ on 1k ;)
Thanks Chris! Always glad when you like our films and always appreciate you coming by to leave a comment. I'll be interested to see where the changes to your channel take you. Yes, thanks the 1k caught us a little unawares - happened while we were out running, so that's a good thing I guess:) All the best Nord & Flo
FloNo Trail love your films folks! Always so excited to see! Yea I’m excited and scared too as now I’ve got pressure on myself but - let’s see what I can do aye! Hahah yea well done! That’s the best way I guess haha
I feel like I'm echoing earlier comments, but I loved the conversation over the computer! I don't think my effort with a Lucas-Lucas conversation on Mt saddleback really compares with yours to be honest! 😉 Great video though; I've never heard of Fools Tarn so there you go!
HiHi- took a little bit of planning - and I'm not much of a planner usually, but it worked out ok. I know right, Fools Tarn - I'd been wanting to do it for a while, bit had never really checked on the map to see where it is, but its a nice little 'plain' - be worth exploring a bit more probably.
Jeeeeeeeeeeez! This video is epic, was beautifully put together and really enjoyed the Nord-to-Nord scene, VERY unique! Congratulations on the 1k, too!
No, cheers to YOU both 🍻 Huddled here recovering from a hectic two week work trip and great to replenish with a dose of your adventures. That looked a magical run. I felt your buzz! Thanks for bringing us along.... Two Qs: 1. With that button grass are those snake gaiters? 😳 2. And Nord, mate, the commentary with Nord on the map animation.... 😜
That was a lot of fun - I think these are some of our favourite runs - heading into places we've been before but discovering something new - and mostly off-trail makes it even more special. yes, we wear MOXIES when we're in thick scrub or in fear for our lives regarding snakes - we just have the originals which cost $30 www.moxiegear.com.au/moxie-shin-gaiters - they're pretty indispensible down here. And yes, I find myself so easy to talk to, it's like we're on the same wavelength:)
Hi Rick! Glad you liked it. Collins Bonnet always looks best from Trestle and Trestle always looks best from Trestle too. I love exploring along the ridge in both directions. a really special spot. We still havent made it in to the pineapple grass field, we were going to go in on Anzac Day but ran out of time. Another day!
Excellent! Yellow Cliffs are on my list soon after watching one of your other vids, as well as Patrick and Charles. I just realised that Trestle is my profile pic from a few years ago 😂
Oh my GOOOOOD!! This video is so good!! Your editing is just getting better and better. I wish I could come up with ideas like you guys do. 🤔😉 KEEP IT UP!!
Thanks Fredrik - it was a bit of a logistical nightmare - usually I just 'wing it' but had to think about this one a bit for it to work. Cheers mate - thanks for stopping by Nord & Flo
Great video guys, really enjoyed it, especially the drone footage towards the end. That pond looked amazing! I would love a clone of myself to do the editting. Congrats on reaching 1K subs :-)
Thank you! Glad you like the video - it was a pretty unexpected sight (& site) - a rocky pool in the middle of almost nowhere really - I reckon I need a couple of clones one to go to work for me too:) Cheers Nord & Flo
absolutely loved this video guys. i actually watched this video with the screen shot of your timeline on another screen watching all your hard work in PP and AE
Hah! That would actually have been quite interesting to do - I updated the photo btw as another minute roughly was added this pm. Glad you liked it mate, it was another fun one to make.
FloNo Trail it's so interesting to see how people go about using the tools to create our movies. Ill be honest I kept up for about 3 minutes. 😂😂 And then lost my place.
Congrats on 1,000+ viewers! I am one of the new ones and am really enjoying these vids. I live in Kansas City, MO, USA, but have family in Sydney. One of these trips to Sydney, I may need to take a side trip to Tasmania and check out some of your trails. They look amazing!
Hey, thanks Dan! Thanks for your comment, we always love hearing where people are from. Yes, if you get to Aus make sure you check out the Blue Mountains out the back of Sydney, some great trails there. Thanks again, all the best Nord & Flo
I am definitely a big fan of the Blue Mountains! I've been there several times with the fam. Hopefully I can run Ultra Australia there in the next year or so. Cheers.
Great video. Loved the take on Jack's video. Very clever and worked super well. You guys are very inspiring! Did you take a Mavic Air or Spark for the drone footage? I can't imagine you carried a full size drone? Cheers. :)
Thank you! I think Jack did it best of course, but it was fun to try out and to try and make it convincing:) Glad you liked the video - we generally take the Mavic Pro with us, its bigger than the other two but its what we have and it works really well. (We generally have it and a controller and 2 spare batteries:) - so quite a full little rucksack. All the best Nord & Flo
Awesome stuff, gee I can’t help but notice the similarities between your videos and dan Whitehead, he’s a fav of mine. Love your vids, great editing and very interesting content.
FloNo Trail I’m out in tallarook. About an hour from Melbourne. Beautiful here and I’m lucky enough to live on 70 acres of dense Aussie bushland with a bunch of trails I’ve created. Looks beautiful where you are. Friend of mine lives up on lake mountain, sensational place. I’m subbed now so look forward to more awesome content. Keep it up ✌️🌱
Very clever edit, enjoyed watching you talking to....you! Ha ha!
Forest Trail Runner - haha - cheers mate! it took a little bit of thinking, but it worked out better than expected. Cheers mate!
Those biscuits looked amazing. Any chance of a recipe?
Trail Running Wales - I think we just googled it. The Key here is not to do what Flo did at 9:10 haha - try this bit.ly/2jqCg8z
Thanks for the link :) I'll bare that in mind haha
I’m glad we’ve got the computer guy sitting at home working on the videos while we have fun :)
Flo Kappler - I need him home full-time:)
Another great vid. Clever and fun. Greetings from Alaska.
Greg G - hey thanks Greg! Glad you liked it. Whereabouts in Alaska are you? What an awesome place.
I'm Anchorage, our big city. It is beautiful here. Seeing the mountains and ocean close together, like your home, is special.
Such great videos. Keep doing it!
That back-and-forth conversation was hilarious! It was a little too reminiscent of interactions I have with my clients on a daily basis!
The Year I Got The Runs - haha!! Sounds like a very interesting occupation you have there! Cheers mate, thanks - it was a bit of fun to make -

Don't you love it when you revisit a favourite place and discover something you didnt know?
Hell yeah! I did the same recently and found some beautiful trails.
beautiful footage.
Thank you mate!

Great video and congratulations Nord, Nord & Flo on 1000 subscribers. I couldn't help but notice the lack of water in Myrtle Forest Creek.
Cheers Jeff - thank you mate, glad you liked the video! I know - there have been days when I have gone through that creek almost up to my thighs! I'd noticed your video on Adams Falls - need to check it out still - hadnt been there so will look forward to watching yours.
Thanks Nord, I didn't have much footage to work with so its very short unplanned video.
Some nice shots in there tho' looks like you guys had a nice day out there.

I'm not so sure I could quit cheese either - not much of a pizza without one:)
I loved the Nord to Nord interaction on this video. It was very cool!
I find him easy to talk to:)
It's almost like you know exactly what the other is thinking!
I love your video Flo - thanks for sharing on facebook
Nick Effendi - cheers thanks Nick.
That looks like a beautiful run. I thought the bit at the beginning when Nord talks to himself was great. I liked the look of the pizza!
Cheers and thanks AJ!! Gotta talk to myself in case no one else wants to:) The pizza was very tasty! All the best

FloNo Trail It might be a good place to check out in winter when it's frozen over ☺
nicely done... like that you've intro'd your twin - does he not like running...
will green - Thanks Will - he’s always been reluctant in front of the camera, more of a behind-the-scenes-editing-machine:)
Wow, the quality and creatively in this video is amazing :)
Thank you - it was a fun video to make - glad you liked it.
Jeeeeeeeeeeez! This video is epic, was beautifully put together and really enjoyed the Nord-to-Nord scene, VERY unique!
Congratulations on the 1k, too!
A Runner's Ramble - Haha! Thank you mate! Glad you liked it - it involved some planning - not usually my strong suit 😀
I think you raise the bar with every video!! what an amazing run!
Thank you mate! Glad you liked the video - a bit of fun to make this one. Always fun to try something new:) Cheers Nord & Flo

Excellent video. I love Trestle! Have you visited the secret pineapple grass field hidden there? It's impressive!
Hi Rick! Glad you liked it. Collins Bonnet always looks best from Trestle and Trestle always looks best from Trestle too. I love exploring along the ridge in both directions. a really special spot. FloNo Trail hehe I can only imagine. But the result came out awesome 😀👍
Great video guys, really enjoyed it, especially the drone footage towards the end. That pond looked amazing! I would love a clone of myself to do the editting. Congrats on reaching 1K subs :-)
Here We Are Running thanks a lot ! It was a great surprise to see that clear water - I was expecting to find a green and brown muddy pond :)
Thank you! Glad you like the video - it was a pretty unexpected sight (& site) - a rocky pool in the middle of almost nowhere really - I reckon I need a couple of clones one to go to work for me too:) Cheers Nord & Flo

A lot of stuff is nested or hidden in an AE linked comp which might make it a little harder.

Dan Savage - that definitely sounds like a great plan. Hope you managed to get to run it one day.
Got my fingers crossed that it will work out soon! Have a great Wednesday!

Nate's Escape - Thanks Nate - glad you liked it, it was.a bit of fun to make:) Whereabouts are you based?
FloNo Trail based in Melbourne 😁
