I think Rachelle, Frencheska and Rita would be phenomenal in their own ways as Kim. each would bring something different to the role. Aicelle is definitely a Gigi and i think she is gonna be fab at it if she gets to come to London. Getting seriously excited for this new production next year!!

there's no daubt about Rachelle, sayang the technical chain was doubled with the playback which is a disadvantage in impact.
plz take a look at Rita also, she really HAS it and can deliver the full drama in her beautiful face, and has the stable and clear voice in the midrange that is essential to tell the lyrics and the story.
frencheska is lovely too and deserves a serious role on stage.

Watching this gave me goosebumps!!! For the fact that 2 girls here are part of Ms. Saigon, rachelle and aicelle who both played gigi!! Rachelle in the 2014 casts (and now as eliza in hamilton), and aicelle in the currently running uk tour!! 😍😍 nakaka proud lang! 😉

Pinoy ka? If you are, then you should just be proud that we, Filipinos are always considered top choices in Miss Saigon! You can not compare the first batch to these batch, they have different stuff to offer. If they make it, they will undergo intensive trainings that by the time they are to face the audience they will be more than ready to conquer the world! It doesn't matter which station they are from, they are all Filipinos that make us proud! You should be ashamed of yourself!

i think they will make some changes in the storyline and adaptation for the new restaging of miss saigon to avoid comparison from the original...additional songs and dance maybe? if they are planning to make a movie just like les miserables it'll be closer to a movie like stage play more detailed perhaps? ...

just a weird thought or guess, but i would like frencheska to be kim. there's something in her eyes and voice tone that match Kim's character, just a hindsight. Of course, no one can argue rachelle's skill, i'm a fan!

magagaling sila pero in my opinion for most of them, their voices sound too mature. Lea Salonga had a powerful voice as Kim but it was also sweet. What it should sound most like is the girl who starred in her high school's production of Miss Saigon, search on UA-cam "Miss Saigon Elizabeth Judd"
