due to large diversed stable populations (due to geographical conditions) indian region became the land of too many local religions & deities which seeped into one another with time & created a somewhat homogeneous system with smoothly blended but still different rituals & cultures...with onset of philosophy refinement of mythologies started....need for single system of beliefs was felt as conflicts & complexity increased in societies / groups....
since indian region kept on adding evolutionary development in mythologies & philosophy as a part of mythologies & philosophy itself, it becomes somewhat tolerant to various belief systems....it has both inflexible core frame and also flexible accomodating organs...
india is like a tape record where every moment of human life was captured and fossilised in form of lives of some people living in exactly the same way as it was once....
