Great to see you back, Seth. I had a lot of fun today with the writing sprint; I continued writing and got to around 1500 words for the day. Plus, I worked on some planning :) It's fun working along with you :) Hopefully, when I can write full time, i can join you every time you do a sprint :)
Writing daily requires significant focus, and it's impressive that you've mastered it despite distractions and ADHD. Your journey of overcoming these challenges is inspiring and valuable for others. By honing your focus, you've shown that it's possible to channel energy and passion effectively, which will resonate with anyone seeking to boost productivity and consistency in their creative work.
Mental focus is like a beam of sunlight concentrated through a magnifying glass. When the sunlight is properly aligned, it becomes powerful enough to ignite a fire. Habit stacking sounds amazing, i gotta try this ^^
After breakfast, I write for four hours without rest, thought, or planning. When my writing becomes strained, I stop. Overthinking my process makes me conscious of the quality of my writing, causing anxiety and killing my will to write
@@SethRingWrites I only take Sundays off. My word count varies; it's not always a continuous flow of words. Sometimes, I take a short break to do minor chores before returning to my writing desk. P.S. I mainly write screenplays.
It’s weird how timely your videos are to what I need help with. I have enough words to start posting on Royal Road, but am worried about not being focused enough to keep up the daily writing. Heck, I even have Atomic habits on my audible app. Listened to it three times in a row a few years ago. Will listen to the part about habit stacking (again). Thanks. Plus I recently started forcing my self to sleep more, going from 4-5 hours a night to 6-7.

Excited to be back and so glad you joined!
Thank you for mentioning ADD for writing and focus.
It's a big deal for me, and I know a lot of others.
Love the video, there's a lot of value here. Appreciate it.
Glad it was helpful.

How often do you write for a full 4 hours?

More sleep is the secret hack.
@@SethRingWritesand now when I don’t sleep enough I notice what a zombie I become. Where before I didn’t realize I was a zombie.
Welcome forward. 😂
Thanks!~
