That was actually very upsetting to watch. I need to call my dad, tell him how much I love him
For context: I don’t dislike the video. On the contrary, I like it a great deal, it made me feel very strongly, moved me, emotionally. It compelled me to reach out to my father, which I have not actively done of my own accord in some time.
If there’s one thing that Meatcanyon is very good at, it’s making people think. Thank you, Papa Meat, for compelling me to be a better son.

And it’s completely true.

So true
The use of Ivan the Terrible and his dying son as the basis of this parody was oddly touching. It still perfectly captured the grief and remorse from the painting it was based on. Kudos to you, Meatcanyon.
I've noticed this too, thank you for saying this out loud so people know classic
Meatcanyon, in my opinion, is a perfect critique in an artistic and autistic manner
i barely know anything about this piece but the fact that i was able to recognize it from this just shows how recognizable and well made it is
I didn't know about this painting. The look in the father's eyes is terribly raw. Thank you for sharing its name.
I thought it looked too much like that ivan painting
“Hands out, palms facing the sun, willing to prey on your misguidance” bro you did NOT have to go that deep 😭
