Columbia accident was in 2003. ST:HF was done between 2000 and 2007. This was remastered later by the producers. Lightwave back in the early 2000's was by today's standards fairly crude. Keep ALL of this in mind when you note the early green screen edging, the interlacing artifacts and everything else that FANS worked around to make this for free. Darn good job overall, and repeat actors/characters/fans are starting to show better line delivery and overall acting. Really a good way to see how hard acting and presenting lines realistically can really be!
Awesome, bringing back the Defiant and infusing this episode with the enthusiasm the "youngsters" would have with such a piece of history. Continuing to enjoy my journey in your universe! 💚🌎🌄🦋🖖😸
The crew of the Columbia did nobody any harm and didn't deserve to die, and it was lovely of this series to payhomadge to their sacrifices for mankind and space exploration.... may they rest in peace with our gratitude and respect.
hahah xD I like how he said it. This lady may be elderly but she carries a big brick in her perse. xD hahah in essence the TOS Defiant after so many years of being trapped in Spacial Interphase still manages to pack a TOS style punch. xD.
@@kadindarklord Since when did the Star Trek community ever have its own version of the Expanded Universe? i mean honestly aint the so called Expaned Universe thing reserved for the Star Warse fan community?
@@FLAME4564 The "Expanded Universe" moniker isn't exclusive to Star Wars. Theirs covers pretty much anything not actually seen/heard on screen (books, comics, etc.). The Star Trek EU is different -- it's the central repository of information for fan-made creations, in the same vein that Memory Alpha is the main for canon information and Memory Beta is the main for books/comics/games.
+Markus Weißner Oh yea that. That was a Terran Empire eppisode. Unless your refferint to ST Enteprise In a Mirror Darkley where the Terran NX Enterprise finds the TOS Defiant in a tholian shipyard. Perhaps that answers your question?
Im thinking its more like "crew problems".... the women are getting butcher and butcher with their dominant attitude including flipancy and as for the "males" (😂) im shocked they didn't pick up their handbags and start running away either screeming or crying..... this is what happens when you very clearly crew a ship with people from the lgbtg communities........ this is getting worse.
Im sick of trek attracting these closit queens in the comments section, trek is now turning into some kind of gay series where all the queers come to flock and gloat at there "pin up boy love crushes".... oh farking hell
I like that it was dedicated to the challenger crew. You should dedicate it to the whole crew except for the israeli crew member that was a spy and sabotaged the ship when he was caught. He murdered the crew.
They gotta do something with that out line around the characters and the fuzzy graphics back ground quality. They make the show look poor and generic looking. Other then that, the acting was ok. Over all, a great attempt. Keep trying and one day you'll achieve a professional looking version.
Ok this is the 3rd episode and the acting is not that great but it does have the TOS flare and humor not to mention imaginative storylines but I'm surprised that the Andorians makeup is so terrible!!

just adding my admiration for all involved with making Hidden Frontier !!
I found this thoroughly entertaining. So much attention to detail! Great job to everyone involved!

Excellent episode
Does anybody know what Luko's race is?
According to the Star Trek Expanded Universe wiki, he's a Bre'ellan.

Geez, commander Leffler hot also. Oh I wish I had the luck to snag any of them... (sigh)
Wozniak sure gets around a lot.-
Yay! I'm on UA-cam!
Galaxy Quest theme...excellent choice
What about the "Enterprise" Episode about the Defaint?
Markus Weißner
From what I've read, the original release predates it.
I see. Anyway it is a cool Fan film with a lot of energy put into it. Good Work!
kadindarklord Yeah, by a couple years.
+kadindarklord Darn! I was about to say that Defiant should have "I.S.S." on the hull. ;-)

Good episode.
The episodes seem to be getting shorter and shorter! This one was only 23 minutes. Budget problems ?

20:20 hot AF, who is he ? now that boy can play the gay guy, along with Zen (pilot) for my 2 cents

Hail Columbia!!!
An alternate timeline
👍🖖❤️
Captain Shelby isn't single, is she? Eh, I could never get that lucky... she's gorgeous.
Her personality stinks though. She'd just make you her little bitch. Unless you're into that.
I like this one
