This is my bike since 2007, still riding it!
Awesome bike , still ride one ,
Less talk and more ride please 🙌
From what I seen the new bike run hotter they all come so lean
Still a amazing bike
All the red looks great. Especially that skid plate.

So the trailtech fan fits with the IMS oversized tank? Can anybody confirm this is true?
It does not. I have an 06 with a ims 3.2 tank. The fan needs a custom (different) mount so it will sit lower on the radiator. The tank is about 1" from the radiator.
I was able to remold the tank with a heat gun so the trail tech fan fit. It’s been fine for the last 10yrs. Be super careful cleaning out the tank before you start the process, been awhile but I think I left some water in the tank.

I wish u all wood dyno this bike to see how it compares to the new ones
Old video just watched. The R put down 56 hp stock which is plenty power and I’d assume all the ktm 350 fanatics will continue to say it’s “too much” for a trail bike. Lol. I’ve modified my 2005 CRF450R for trails and love how light wt it is. Yes, I have to kick start it, oh well! And yes, it has a carburetor too, but these bikes have so much power and when jetted properly they still run great. Lots of local MX racers on 05-08 CRF450Rs doing just fine vs the new bikes. I can’t justify dropping $10k on a new bike that I’d still have to throw a bunch of stuff on and have suspension done etc, only to gain estart and FI. (Note-I don’t finance any of my “toys”, nothing outside of cars and house).

@@KosmicHRTRacingTeam I have a 2012 450x with all the mods but all internals are stock and it runs very very good but I rode my buddies 2018 crf450r and it was much easier to ride the power came on so much smoother. However I still love my bike and I am keeping but I’m going to hopefully get a 2022 crf450rx
Squeeeeeeee!!! I just seen this bike for sale on FB Marketplace for a hell of a price! But i just built one dammit
