Took round 8 off and got smashed in the hooter, then (effectively) dropped in the 9th. Recovered well but had left himself too much to do. If his corner really were telling him he’d won the fight and to just box in the 12th, then that’s just crazy. Usyk by 3 was fair.
Fury did dominate the first half of the fight. Usyk was on the front foot so to the casual eye this may look like he's winning but he kept getting caught with heavy shots on the way in. Fury repeatedly walked him on to uppercuts etc that were hurting usyk. Just like Eddie said Usyk did really well to turn it around and deservedly had his.hand raised. For once Edward talking sense. Fury looked comfortable and Usyk looked in trouble, then in the 8th I think Fury got his nose popped and the momentum swung. Round 9 sealed it. Anyone trashing Fury is disrespecting the two warriors we saw last night. Great fight.
Big respect to russ, great fight and most importantly the right man won. Very close but in a fight of that magnitude it was so important the conversation wasnt about the scorecards. Obviously some very close rounds but Usyk, wow. Fury was and will still be in the conversation for one of the greatest heavyweight’s of all time but Usyk is phenomenal. One of the P4P best of our generation. Inoue, crawford, all amazing but to win the fight in the manner he did, including round 9 which on another night the ref could have jumped in was incredible. Fair play to Tyson aswell, bring on the rematch, even more intriguing!
If Fury would take things seriously, focus, and run 10 miles per day, watch the video: he could win the rematch 4-5 months. Fury ran out of gas... simple as that. He was ok otherwise.
These UK people never saw it coming. LOL. The judges should have given Usyk more points than they did. It should have been unanimous. It is so funny. Hearn oh my gosh. He's always been hoodwinked by his bias. It was 3-3 at the 6th round. LOL.
After 6 round it was either 3-3 or 4-2 Usyk. Tyson won 7 and 8. Usyk won 9, 10, 11 and 12 is debatable but I gave it Usyk. Usyk won quite clearly, it was close up until the 8th. Then Usyk took over and went up a gear or 2.
In rounds 4 to 6, Fury showcased a glimpse of Muhammad Ali’s legendary style. His movement, jabs, and precise hitting dominated Usyk, proving that such a strategy could dismantle him. However, Ali would have taken this to an entirely different level. With superior mobility, relentless jabs, and a higher work rate, Ali wouldn’t have just outboxed Usyk; he would have overwhelmed him, likely securing a knockout. Ali's unparalleled combination of speed, strategy, and power would have left no doubt-he would have dismantled Usyk with his relentless pace and brilliance, affirming his dominance over any era of heavyweights, including Fury.
All hail the G.O.A.T! Undefeated, Undisputed 2 weight world champion but to do it as a cruiserweight and then heavyweight where there's no weight limit and beat 2 giants in AJ and now Fury........Wow what a Man and what a Fighter👏👏👏
Fair play to Eddie and the comments made by Frank Warren, very similar to eddiesUsyk just edged it, and of course now will get the rematch probably in October
Nah, Fury takes an AJ fight at Wembly (and most likely gets sparked out) and Usyk retires. Nothing more to prove. Whats left? Beat Hrgovic? Zhang? It'd be a waste of time. Third fight with AJ? Usyk don't need the money. He's completed all the main questline. Time to enjoy life being rich.
@@TheVanillatechaj has not earned his shot yet and fury will take the rematch the fight was to close for him not too plus usyk will not want to pay fury 30 million and duck him
Yep agreed with Eddy, Fury clearly lost the first round as he was clowning around too much and didn't seem to have his focus, 2nd round was even but Fury could have easily won that then he seemed to relax make an adjustment and cruised through the next 4-5 rounds started to land more and hurt Usyk. After the 8th Usyk dug down went up a level Fury got hit hard on nose and seemed to trouble him then Usyk went up a gear again pummeled him in the 10th and Fury did well to stay in the fight but Usyk in control last 2 rounds. Close fight right man won.
I saw Usyk winning the first 3 rounds, then Fury got into the fight and won the next 4 rounds. Then Usyk won round 8 and knocked Fury down in the 9th round. I gave Usyk round 10, Fury round 11 and Usyk round 12. So 115-112 Usyk
If AJ put in that performance against Tyson, Eddie would have said Tyson may have won 1 or 2 rounds max. He has changed his tune since he has been working with Warren
I had it exactly the same as Eddie while watching it live....then I watched it again this morning and I'd probably throw 1, maybe 2 more rounds Usyks way.
I had it 2-2 after 4… I understand the standing 8 count for the ropes keeping him up, but he hit the ropes 3 or 4 times… so, either let him go down or let him bounce off the ropes again.
Eddies talking rubbish about fury being in cruise control the first five rounds, Usyk won the first three rounds, fury won the next 4 Usyk won 8,9,10,11 and fury 12, 7-5 to Usyk. Problem with Eddie and others is that they were watching fury’s showboating and not the punches he was landing!! Ray Leonard was the master of that!!
Agree with Eddie. Fury looked like he was about to win comfortably. But you can't argue with the overall decision, round 9 was the big deciding factor 👍🏻
Edward was watching a different fight. This massively depreciates The AJ vs Fury fight and Usyk has no need to rematch AJ, so I understand why Hearn wants to make this fight closer than it was.
I thought 1-3 were Usyks 4-7 were Furys, 8-11 were Uyks with a kd and Fury seemed to edge the 12th - Usyk by 3 points which is fair to say was a close fight (and the right man got the decision).
All Fury's supporters said he was in great shape, and he gave it his all on the night (said so himself) and lost to the better fighter. As I predicted, he wasn't comfortable with the pace Usyk set for the fight; Usyk's alleged "weakness to the body" was also totally debunked in this fight, Fury landed some vicious uppercuts to his stomach with little or no effect. Fury also tried the much-vaunted grabbing and leaning to use his weight, again to no effect. Every trick that was supposed to win him the fight met a dead end; I saw nothing obvious that Fury could have done differently without getting punished, plus he suffered a debilitating knockout in R9 (even if it wasn't scored as such, he was definitely gone.) So if the rematch does go ahead, I can't see Fury turning this around. That being said, it was a gruelling night for both fighters and baring the rematch, I agree with Carl Froch, that Usyk should now bow out on a high. Usyk recently changed his tune and was talking about fighting for another 3 years. IMHO, as undisputed was always his goal since he first moved up to heavyweight, and now he's done it, there's nothing left for him to prove.
I saw it 3-3 after six and then Fury in my opinion won some middle rounds and was on top until maybe round 8, when Usyk did what Usyk does. Wore Fury out and got on him, Fight should have been stopped, Fury was hit with maybe 10 or more unanswered shots. This made AJ look a little better, as he survived a lot better than Fury did.
That round 9 was mental. I lost my voice completely after that round. Usyk could’ve ended it but for some reason he didn’t throw that final left before the ref gave a mandatory standing eight count. And were the ropes holding Fury up or not? The ref’s call I suppose. What a cracking scrap. Had everything and would love to see the rematch. Just a shame it won’t be for Undisputed again. Would be cool to have seen Usyk try and defend a four belt era HW Undisputed while Fury tries to get them all back.
Lets get the biggest fight on. Fury v AJ for British heavyweight title or AJ v Jake Paul its what the real boxing fans want - does bigger numbers according to Edward Hearn.
that guy saying usyk won the first 5 is crazy lmao. Hearn is absolutely right - Usyk looked done; Fury was controlling and dominating him. Never seen Usyk look so tired and so desparate - with wild swings, he looked frustrated n was getting clobbered to the body and with uppercuts. Fury was in control rounds 2-7 for sure.
I felt a lot of close rounds in there that could have gone either way to give rise to an unfair yet plausible score for either man but definitely felt the win surely belonged to Usyk. Rounds 3-8 Fury seemed to take control, land Usyk with meaningful body shots that noticeably made Usyk drop in work rate and start breathing heavy, and caught Usyk with some rice sharp straights and uppercuts that marked up Usyk and a nasty cut. Interestingly Fury may not have actually landed more during that period so depending on the judge could have been Usyk's rounds regardless since Fury never really kept his foot on the gas even with those nice controlling shots. The Fury took one on the nose which seemed to distract him a lot, think a cut, went back to the corner with a bloody face. Next round, 9?, Usyk is invigorated by this, steps up his attacks and then absolutely buckles Fury beyond anything I've ever seen and follows up with another massive shot or two that has Fury sleep walking... crazy. Somehow Fury respawns for round 10 and the last 3 are surprisingly close with Fury even landing some really hurtful power shots. Great fight though, kudos both warriors 🥊🥊💪💪

To put that in perspective the weight difference is like a 147lb fighter doing that to a light heavyweight or Errol Spence knocking out Beterbiev 😂😂😂
Not sure what fight Eddie was watching. I Had 115 112
Fury must retire now
Y? Tell everyone you didn't watch it without saying....
Wtf what you on about?
he's lost 1 fight now it's retire damn your really a hater
Mister Would😂
Eddie was spot on with his scoring, exactly how I scored it.
I’m a fury fan but Eddies analysis on this is spot on
I had Usyk nicking the first 3. Then Fury won 4,5 and 6. Then Usyk just went up a gear and won every round. Ref saved Fury in the 9th.
So you think it was 117 - 110? Fury was winning easy before the knockdown.
All hail the G.O.A.T! Undefeated, Undisputed 2 weight world champion but to do it as a cruiserweight and then heavyweight where there's no weight limit and beat 2 giants in AJ and now Fury........Wow what a Man and what a Fighter👏👏👏
Rounds 3,4,5 Fury
1,2 could be given to usyk
8,9,10 Usyk
12 even
Right decision,
Hail the King 👑
Fair play to Eddie and the comments made by Frank Warren, very similar to eddiesUsyk just edged it, and of course now will get the rematch probably in October
Nah, Fury takes an AJ fight at Wembly (and most likely gets sparked out) and Usyk retires. Nothing more to prove. Whats left? Beat Hrgovic? Zhang? It'd be a waste of time. Third fight with AJ? Usyk don't need the money. He's completed all the main questline. Time to enjoy life being rich.
@@TheVanillatechaj has not earned his shot yet and fury will take the rematch the fight was to close for him not too plus usyk will not want to pay fury 30 million and duck him
Eddie is the man we need in boxing 🥊🥊. Always ready to agree to disagree with u but in good fate great fight
You gotta remember it’s different watchin it in the arena it’s better on the tele you see it up and close as the trainers see it
Eddie is 100% correct
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sky sports showing all slow motion of usyk
Guy who came closest to beating usyk at heavyweight was chisora
I thought the same as Eddie hearns in my opinion he is 1 of a few who knows what he is talking about when it comes to boxing.
You honestly thought Fury won 2 of the first 3 rounds😂
@@mightymeatball8535lost the first 2 then won 4/5 on the bounce
Yep agreed with Eddy, Fury clearly lost the first round as he was clowning around too much and didn't seem to have his focus, 2nd round was even but Fury could have easily won that then he seemed to relax make an adjustment and cruised through the next 4-5 rounds started to land more and hurt Usyk. After the 8th Usyk dug down went up a level Fury got hit hard on nose and seemed to trouble him then Usyk went up a gear again pummeled him in the 10th and Fury did well to stay in the fight but Usyk in control last 2 rounds. Close fight right man won.
We're all getting old Eddie. Get your eyes tested mate. Fury was saved by the ref,AGAIN
I agree with Hearn on this, I thought fury was comfortable but it was a close fight maybe just usyk nicked it
I agree
Crying at that guy managing to hear him from about 80 feet away and then the fella who John Fury headbutted turning up out of nowhere. Rollercoaster.
That Ross guy is tripping
Eddie kinda ended up at the right-ish score - Usyk by 2 or 3 - but the way he got there is bizarre.
Eddie is 100 percent
I had it 2-2 after 4… I understand the standing 8 count for the ropes keeping him up, but he hit the ropes 3 or 4 times… so, either let him go down or let him bounce off the ropes again.
The ref had money on it going the distance 😂😂😂😂
Cred to Eddie being real in this case.
That’s fair, I had 3, 7 and 12 as swing rounds. 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 11 as clear Usyk rounds. 4, 5, 6 as clear Fury rounds.
I had Usyk 115-112, thought it even half way through…but what a cracking fight from both lads 🔥
Guys, once the knockdown occurred the draw is out of the equation.
That’s what a casual would say. Boxing fans still want aj fury. Aj puts fury in a coma
I thought 1-3 were Usyks 4-7 were Furys, 8-11 were Uyks with a kd and Fury seemed to edge the 12th - Usyk by 3 points which is fair to say was a close fight (and the right man got the decision).
Rematch needs to happen lets be real that was a very very close fight
Tyson was robbed, hadn't it been for Ussyk punching him, he would have won.
Yeah you’re right. If Usyk didn’t punch Fury then Fury would have won 😂😂 🤡
Proper bullys them Ukrainians, not very sporting of them what with using fists and all. 😂😂😂
What belts would be on the line in a rematch ?
Even fight, Fury done well in the early rounds, clowned around when making good shots, knockdown made the difference in the end.
Lets get the biggest fight on. Fury v AJ for British heavyweight title or AJ v Jake Paul its what the real boxing fans want - does bigger numbers according to Edward Hearn.
Hearn is speaking about Fury for the full video. After Usyk beat the man who was 30 pounds heavier than him!
I had it 3-3 into round 7 scored usyk a couple due to ring generalship
Round 1-3 was all Usyk. Fury 4-6, 7 was a swing. The rest was all Usyk with a 10-8 in the 9th
that guy saying usyk won the first 5 is crazy lmao.
I feel Eddie will watch the fight back and he will change his opinion in the next IFL interview with Kugan.
WBC judge was the one who had Fury winning. Shock horror.
So is he now the lineal champion as well, did he also collect the ring magazine, I didn't see
1,2,3 usyk
4,5,6 fury
7,8 swing rounds
9,10,11 usyk
12 usyk just - arguable drawn round
116/112 or 115/112 usyk was about right imo
If we could merge time, Holyfield vs Usyk would've been a fight
Fury was standing on his feet, whilst leaning for his life on the ropes. If the ropes weren’t there, Fury woulda gone down.
That’s what the ropes are for
I was the same as Eddie .leant towards Usyk but defo was his to win, maybe in the moment I gave Fury an extra round or two.
Who’s Benn fighting next?
