Culvert Placement at OIA - Sims Crane & Equipment

Sims Crane sets concrete precast box culverts for the Orlando International Airport Expansion Project. Each culvert weighs 42,000 lbs. at a working radius of 100’. The crane is the Tadano ATF400G-4 with 260,200 lbs. of counterweight.
Installation of the culverts was expected to last 2 full weeks (10 days) but the crew finished in 8 days.
