He sounds really sad. Since his interview post ti8 I realized that he may have been suffering a strong depression for who knows many time. I wish he finds what makes him happy or what makes him whole because, I say it honestly, he sounds like someone who would hang up himself despite of all his success. I have met many people like that. There is a saying that tells that those who are too smart can never find real happiness because they are too aware of the nihilistic nature of their existence. I hope I am wrong about him tho.
@@thegreatfinn2666 it feels too deep to say its just a demotivation. the symptoms of depressive thoughts is there, his statements, his words, his views all clearly showing that he suffered some mental health issues, and he is in his manic state right when they film this video.
I think you should take more care to not conflate the meaning of a depressed mood with Major Depressive Disorder. I really feel like making these assertions without any evidence or qualification (I’m guessing you don’t have either of these?) only makes complicated issues more complicated. It also clouds the general public’s understanding of a problem that benefits from the compassion of said public. Compassion comes from understanding. In my opinion there is a big difference between “he sounds like he is having a hard time” vs “…he may have been suffering a strong depression for who knows many time.” The first suggests something common that we all go through that may just need to talk to family and friends, it doesn’t have a major impact of day to day productivity, it doesn’t impact your relationships or ability to hold down a job. The second is implying a more serious problem that warrants clinical intervention as it DOES impact the things just mentioned. To further understand the difference, you can look up the criteria for “Major Depressive Disorder” in the DSM-5. I am guilty of this as well but as a society with compassion for each other, we should try not to casually use terms like "dyslexic moment", "I'm OCD about..." or suggest that someone is suffering from strong depression without knowing details of the persons experience. It diminishes the struggle of those who suffer from these ailments long term that are often debilitating. I know this is unlikely your intention, but I felt it worth typing up these thoughts to give you another perspective to consider (and to reinforce in myself) that we shouldn’t casually be using these clinical terms to describe someone who may or may not be suffering from them. Something else to consider...I’m definitely not an expert but in my experience (watching Sigur Ros and Bjork interviews, spending some time in Holland) the speech cadence of Scandinavians is often slower and more monotone than usual, if like me, you’re used to watching American/Western media. I know this is something associated with someone who has a depressed mood but again one shouldn’t conflate this with someone suffering a long-term mental disorder. It might just be a cultural difference :)

But irdc tho I hope they will come back as 5 and play for 1 last time get that 3rd aegis
@@jejusss BUT CEB MOVE TO COACHING THO
@@jejusss I think he will replace Ceb cuz Ceb will be the Coach and just the same 4 players
this was probably before the ti9 win. the first ti is probably ti7 where the lost and the shuffle happen and the latest one is the third one he's talking about.
OGs wins in these 2 TI couldn't have been possible without his amazing support and foresight during games. Always admired his incredible ability to adapt to situations and target the right heroes at the right timings during team fights. Thankful to have watched his incredible plays, thank you for showing how a support player could have such a superb impact on a team. Really loved this guy for his humbleness, skills and professionalism. Will never meet another player like you again. All the best jerAx, wishing you happiness in everything you do!
Jerax + Matu in Manila Major (2016) is so chill dude!
Everything about Jerax is so captivating. From inside the game to outside, as a human being. How can you not like this guy?
jerax the modern day philosopher lmao. jokes aside he's deep asf with his reason leaving dota.
Very cold place and a very cold story.
Its like JerAx is really our Earth’s Earth Spirit. He loves the nature.
Thank you Jesse. We will miss you in the dota game field and in OGs lineup
**OG wins ti back to back**
me : what it cost?
OG : Jerax retired from pro dota, Ana taking break and Ceb back as a coach
Wow. Most tribute videos would just show a compilation of the best plays made in game, but this video focuses more on Jesse as a person, his thoughts and personality. Very interesting, great job!
that raincoat tho, remind me of Dark series. One of the best dramas to watch.
We will miss you jerax!!!!!!😭😭😭
Jerax will always be a legend and will never be forgotten
Thanks for all your support ❤️❤️❤️
When achieved the epitome of greatness then feel emptiness.
The first reason why I become one of the OG fans
Jerax with that yellow hoodie reminds me of Georgie that's about to be kidnap by Pennywise XD
@Trollnix Never heard of it tho
Much love JeraX
Amidst all the stressful, emotional and psychological tension of a DotA game, you have the best comedic, fun and 'meme' timing which adds to the overall positive aspect that leads to us (fans) to enjoy watching and root for your team which also gives us motivation to play, rids us of unwanted negative emotions and see the fun side of things bro. May God bless you and ppl like you should live forever 🙂🙂🙂
You're like the Ronaldinho of Dota who always smiles, dances, laughs after celebrating a goal which brings so much motivation and positive energy to everyone around.
Keep up doing you and just be you. Don't ever change bro.
Jerax the GoaT. Team OG for life ✌🏼
jerax: look at this.. look at this
the whole team: lets go!!
i love the depth of not only Dota the game, but it's scene, it's something else really.
wonderful production
Thank you, JerAx!
Until then, Lakad Matatag!

Since he decided to retire...time for Earth Spirit buff guys
Thanks for the great moments you gave us! You are truly a legend who will be remembered as the best forever.
Thank you for all these years. Your are my idol, as a player and as a person. I'm sad you are retiring but I understand why you are. I wish you a great success in your future challenges
Talking about chess but its actually mahjong 🀄
Jerax: just memeing, johan!
i do not see you as a fellow mememer, you have spell the name memeing wrong
@Potato Vestige i have corrected my mistake as a fellow meme bratan.
Most of the time. Someone that has empty in their heart or depressions hide it under smile. Jerax is smile a lot and have a lot of laughs. For the family and friends pls keep a close look. Dont let the pain take him away.
Jerax: dota is something in the line like playing chess
1:03 clip shows majong.
Hahaha lol😂
"Im just memeing johan"
Good job on red bull for making these documentaries. This is so good for us fans to get to know our idols more.
Thanks for including Filipino subtitle
I dont know jerax seeing this or not, i loved him since his 1st showed up.
God initiator, wise decision maker, and a great entertainer as a player.
Its so hard to see him retiring from competitive scene.
Love you man, best pos 4 player.
"What can I do to use millions and millions of dollars in a good way for everything I ever dreamed"? "What are my dreams in life"? "Do I have one"?
Gawd, I'm going to miss this guy. Biggest loss in DOTA history. Thanks for the greatest plays/memories bro, all the best for you going forward.
This guy want's to play dota but for the memes, winning TI is just a side effect. Btw hindi subs ggwp !
So far, Jerax good luck and new adventures in life. thanks for playing
This guy now enjoys his million dollar while here I am still living with my parents
We all experience this kind of phase and Jesse, I do hope you find whatever you are looking for.
I will pray for you.
