Yesterday, I reviewed this video and I said to my self "Maybe, Mike would wear this pole shirt in tomorrow's live." I was so surprised when I saw you in your live wearing your light blue pole shirt. Maybe, I have hidden powers.🤣 Once, I was standing outside my house, several boys were passing by, riding bikes. Without thinking I said to my sister who was beside me, "That boy will fall down" while I was pointing him. Suddenly that boy fell down. My sister and mom were shocked. Mom was there too Hahaha.😊
Thank you for this lesson. As always, you explain everything in a very simple way. If all my teachers could teach like you, I'd probably be President.😄
The alternative pronunciations of EITHER /ˈaɪ.ðə(ɹ)/ and NEITHER /ˈnaɪ.ðə(ɹ)/ are more common in British English, but there are regional differences. (Source: Wiktionary) -- Thank you for this very clear guide, Teacher Mike.
Hi teacher, I have a question. Can subject- verb inversion be used in negative sentences? Example: if I say: "I love pasta as does my mom" is correct, right? But I'm not sure about this one: " I don't like pasta as doesn't my mom". I would really appreciate your help!
You can choose either the red shirt or the blue one. Neither option seems appealing to me. Either pizza or pasta would be fine for dinner. Neither John nor Sarah wants to go to the party. You can sit in either chair; they're both available. Neither of us has been to that restaurant before. ❤❤❤
- You can have either the blue shirt or the red shirt. - Either we can go to the beach or stay home - Either John or Mary will accompany us to the party. - Neither option is perfect, but we have to make a decision. - Neither John nor Mary has experience in project management. -Neither candidate has the necessary qualifications - Neither of them attended the meeting - Neither they nor I am blond. - Neither my cousin nor my friends are stupid. Neither can I go with you? - Either she is lying or he is mistaken - You can take either the train or bus for to get there - I will choose either dessert or ice cream - I don't like going to the movies tonight either/ Me neither
I will eat either meat or chicken. I'm so hungry that I will eat any thing. I will go to either the movies or the theather. I don't like hipocrites. I don't like them, either. Me neither. Interesting and useful topic, Mike.😊😊
Neither of us is happy with your decision. Neither of them was hired by the company. Neither of us knows where she is now. Neither dress fit her. Thanks a lot,, Mike.😊😊
Excuse me Mr Mike, if you make some sentences for some examples, would you like to tell the name of my country, Indonesia, not just Thailand or Japan, thank you
I was watching Gilmore girls and Rory, who is supposed to be a language and literature genius said "me either" and I thought there's a script mistake there 😂
Thank you for The good explanation, Teacher Mike.

Yes. I typically try to avoid saying that one thing is American or one thing is British because there is so much variation within each country.
GO ON,TEACHER IN THIS WAY !!WE LIKE LEARNING ENGLISH FROM YOU!!!PS. YOU CAN CORRECT THE SENTENCE I WROTE TO YOU,CONCERNING THE RIGHT GRAMMAR😊😊
So , we never say me either? An interesting lesson and a perfect explanation!!🎉🎉🎉🙏
Many people do, but it's definitely considered less correct.

Hi. As far as I know, that does not work.
You can choose either the red shirt or the blue one.
Neither option seems appealing to me.
Either pizza or pasta would be fine for dinner.
Neither John nor Sarah wants to go to the party.
You can sit in either chair; they're both available.
Neither of us has been to that restaurant before.
❤❤❤
VERY good!
I have already subscribed.
🙏
I can speak neither Japanese nor Thai.😊
Very good!
😊😊
Got it.

Great examples. The only one that doesn't look right is "Neither can I go with you?" I don't get what you are trying to say.
@@TeacherMikeEnglish,you are right , I meant: can't I go with you either? Maybe 😂 can me neither go with you?
Thanks,have a good one❤
There's always a movie according either to your time or mood. I think this about "Larry Crown movie".
I will eat either meat or chicken. I'm so hungry that I will eat any thing.
I will go to either the movies or the theather.
I don't like hipocrites.
I don't like them, either. Me neither.
Interesting and useful topic, Mike.😊😊
I don't like hipocrites.✅
Thanks a lot, Mike. I will fix it.😀😀
Neither of us like to eat spicy 🌶️ food.
Neither of us likes....😑
Neither of us is happy with your decision.
Neither of them was hired by the company.
Neither of us knows where she is now.
Neither dress fit her.
Thanks a lot,, Mike.😊😊
The past form of "fit" is "fit".
Oh, yes. You're right as always. Thanks, Mike.
excusme, i have a question about paired conjunctions with either ,, or,neither ,,,nor
What is your question?
Thanks! Do I say "I neither?"
You can begin a sentence with that.
For example, I neither drink nor smoke.
@@TeacherMikeEnglish I mean, when reply to the first sentence.
Example: A) I don't like milk.
B) I neither.
❤
Excuse me Mr Mike, if you make some sentences for some examples, would you like to tell the name of my country, Indonesia, not just Thailand or Japan, thank you
I mention lots of countries. I just mention Thailand a lot because I lived there for ten years, and my first viewers on UA-cam were all from Thailand.
Hi teacher Mike....
If I too like chicken, can I say " so do I"
Yes.
🌹
I can speak neither French nor Portuguese.
You can speak either English or Thai during the meeting.😀
Yes, but you would only use that second one if you were giving me an option for which language I can speak with you.
You're correct as always, Mike. I will fix it by adding "During the meeting." 😀😀
Thanks a lot, Mike.😀😀
I was watching Gilmore girls and Rory, who is supposed to be a language and literature genius said "me either" and I thought there's a script mistake there 😂
Gilmore Girls is a guilty pleasure of mine.
Neither Rachel nor me knows where you are now.😊
She can either pay in person or pay online.
I don't know how to explain the situation to her.
Me neither.😊
Me treither.😅 (x3)
Just kidding. Not a real word.
Oh, hahaha.😊😊
Neither of us likes coffee.☕️
I'll either write to you or phone you next week
1.Neither Peter nor Paul ate food yesterday.
2. She either eats children or stays .
I don't understand the second one.😅
Me neither or neither I?
"Neither do/am/have I" is more correct than "Me neither," but both are common.
I have two dogs, neither one can sit.
Why not?
