About FNF
Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player must pass multiple "weeks", each usually containing three songs.[note 1] Each week, the player typically faces a different opponent.
During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes which the player must mirror by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. At the bottom of the screen is a bar indicating how well the player is doing. The left side of the bar is red, representing the opponent. The right side is green, representing the player. Successfully hitting notes will increase the size of the player's bar, while missing notes causes the opponent's bar to expand. The player fails if the opponent's bar fills up the entire bar.
For each week, the player has the option to select one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. As difficulty increases, the speed of incoming arrows increases and the patterns of arrows become more complicated. The player's high score for each week on each difficulty is tracked and shown in the top corner of the week selection screen.

As a bob fan, I've never actually watched or cared about dream. I just found that him being a little parady of fnf mods funny and his design was simple yet amazing, as apparently his idle was over 90 frames alone

My favorites: Updike, Anders, Whitty, Julian and Hex.
Might add, Hex and Updike are also comfort characters for some reason.
And it's actually more for the backstory and the angst potential than the design.
My Fav characters (new):
Whitty = He’s a cool one and he gives inspiration to most of the future Mods after him.
Carol = i really like how she is super chill and gives good advises.
Sunday = Well… she’s a rock artist, and a pretty good one.
Julian = i like him bc He really resembles Whitty.
Garcello = Yeah i’ve been into FNF fandom community for some time and so He’s still is my favorite to this day.
Ruv = i like his dark personality.
Razazy = how cute, i wish i could hug her and tells her that everything will be fine.
Eteled = i made a Mii of him in Switch and now He’s a Mariokart 8 racer.
Alexia = ah Yes, can’t reject Rock n Roll at all.
Mouse.Avi = i’m a big fan of creepypastas but i won’t include Sonic here bc He’s the least of my favorite. Also, Mickey Mouse is the one who builds my childhood with Wonders. So there’s no way i hate him.
Ski (Pou Sky): i wanna hug her.
Starving artist (Rebecca): i’m an artist myself and even though i understands what most artist has to face, at least i’m able to keep my health stable.

I only have a few favourite characters
Ron: Has good music, love the design. I love memes.
Little Man: Songs make me laugh, he's somewhat adorable.
Opheebop: Love the design, also Salty's Sunday Night is my favourite fnf mod.
Glitch/Wyatt: Same reasons as Opheebop.
Eduardo: -Well Well Well- My favourite character in eddsworld, makes me laugh. He's that sort of character that is hilarious to watch but would be horrible to know in person. The well well well meme got me into Eddsworld.
Nonsense: Funny, songs are great, and NonsenseHumour is a pretty good UA-cam channel. I also agree that dabbing is cringe.
Mario and Luigi: Mario games built up my childhood.

Why I like Ruv: He is very caring towards the ones who loves him, and he is very serious, and I can relate to that
why i really like Julian for many reasons is His vocals are so good as heck, Try "Underground In-game mix" you will get what i mean.
His very chill and i like the fact that he quickly loosen himself and have a good time singing with Bf.
And i also like one of his personality that makes him a very good Jokester.

1. Whitty (He was the main reason why I learned about Fnf and his backstory is quite sad. Plus I have angry issues like Whitty.)
2. Hank (I'm a Madness combat fan and he is my second favourite newgrounds character. Also his brutal behaviour reminds of myself when I play fighting games.)
3. Boyfriend and Girlfriend (These two are my favourite couple in Newgrounds. And I love how they both care and love each other.)
4. Selever (He is the youngest aged character and I really like how he cares about his sister.)

I love how you said that if Sarvante is your favorite character, you MIGHT like neopolitan ice-cream. The reason Sarvante is one of my top 3, is because she is helping people go to heaven, and I just think that is nice. Another reason is that she is a part of a church, and that is what I can respect people with. Maybe I'm going too far in me.

1. bf: he's cool and he cares about gf and his family (because he's an angel in my au)
2. gf: she has demon power to protect bf (and she cares about bf and his family and her familly in my au)
3. pico: his cool guns could kill anyone who tris to harm bf and gf.
4. carol: gf and carol are best friends, and carol is an angel in her true form.
5. bf's dad (oliver): He looks to be a serious man that don't talk to people or like affection but, he's the contrary.
When he's around the people he loves, it just turns to be a sweet, loving, caring dad, the ones who gives you cuddles even when you didn't ask for them, but he respects your privacy.

As a Nikusa -simp- fan, I agree with what you said about Nikusa fans. However, what comes second to her is her other factors, like personality, backstory, and even voice.
Reasons I like pico:
1) cool hair
2) I have a similar friend group (a lot of boys and me)
3) someone i know looks like soft pico :3
If you think about it margin, sonic isn’t actually a joke character because the original backstory is kind of spooky

Im a fan of almost all these characters, but not for these reasons. The animations’ artstyle, and the cute backstories of each one; I’m really obsessed with the animation of the faces and poses.

Tbh, my fav character is Zeph (Zephyrus) from the shaggy mod.
He’s extremely fun and well fleshed out as a character. His personality also resonates me the most.
My favorites are selever because he’s doesn’t really care what’s going around him as long as he gets to cause havoc or help rasazy, and whitty because he just wants to be left alone he’s managing to get through life as best as he can but he just can’t catch a break. But yeah I would say those descriptions are accurate for me
