100% A tip I share with people around home with our deer density is that if you understand a good funnel area with good habitat and conditions that you have had good activity on, and you have had nothing for about 3-4 days, its absolutely time to do DIVE in. This is exactly how I interpreted my spot and had my encounter with a really nice deer on Texas National Forest last year. I mean we have all seen the activity patterns, what do you think is the chance he ACTUALLY DOES the same thing two days in a row? Around here, those odds go WAY down. I understand cameras only catch so much but under the right feature, my interest actually peaks when a spot goes quiet for 3-4 days that just means one of them is due!

Thanks for listing out and breaking down the episodes that you both felt are worthwhile. Love how you listed them for early season tactics, calling tips, understanding scent.... thanks for going through that, helps cherry pick your best episodes..... although most of them seem pretty darn good. Keep up the great work. I like your recent interviews with Jeremy and Don from "Do It Yourself Hunter." too. Love their stuff as well!!

I remember first finding Nathan Killen when he was on the podcast with southern grounds talking bout thermals. Originally I’m from south Alabama “flat land” and when I moved to north east Alabama I didn’t understand thermals at all. Listen to that pod cast, went out a few weeks later and killed a 6 1/2 Y/O 10 point with my bow. maybe 130s “my buddies say 140s” idk never put tape on him might one day. But love Mr. Killen shared a few messages on instagram with him, great Godly guy and a straight killer. Love the pod cast guys! kinda find y’all a few months ago so i just been jumping around episodes I’m a welder by trade so 10 hrs of head phone time listening to y’all talk! Gonna have to jump on 171 to listen to what Mr. Killen has to say. Everytime y’all call out an episode I write it down with my soup stone in my welding box haha thanks again guys -Alabama

I hunt southeast ohio in morgan County. Been hunting 7 year's and I've got a long way to go still. But I've got 2 10 points in the last 3 year's and one is just over and one just under 150. I really don't target bucks or even seek them out. But I'm stating to come around
