@@iDesignKH My problem w/ building a new house like this ( besides making My " DREAM KILLER " happy w/it ) is building supplies & lumber is SOOO $$$$$ !! Also , " DREAM KILLER " and I merged two households together into one house a hundred years ago ( ... are so it seems ) !!!! She is a " HOARDER " ! She could turn a " IN " house into a " OUT " house in no time flat ! That being said I'M no " neat " freak Myself ! But , I digress ... I have several ideas to be built into a house at least I think so . I love the idea of a small house in theory at least . I just can't figure how to merge not only two households ( now in a 1525 sq ft house ) into a house roughly one third the sq ft ! I guess that's where YOU earn Your beans ! I have a couch ( the kind w/two incliners on ea end w/ ctr console a lg end table & a " fat bastard " recliner faceing a 55" tv ) ! That rounds out the den ..! The liveing rm has a very massive sectional sofa w/ the other end table & matching coffee table ! In the kitchen tha only piece of furniture I'll be bringing w/ Me is the table & the four chairs ( counter height table is large enough to have a large lazy Susan in the middle of it ) ! Moveing on ... In the bedroom I have a queen size bedroom suite W/large 2 drawer end table ( 1 ) & seven ft dresser / full size mirror . Now for the GOOD stuff ... full size washer & dryer ... two gun safes ( one 32" wide by 24" deep ) the other 6' tall by 34" wide by 30 " deep - this one needs concrete floor !! Are You beginning to see My predicament ? It's bad enough to think about trying to put a roof over all this crap BUT can't forget My " DREAM KILLER " !!! In the house We are liveing in now there's a level of separation of " church & state " ( to be honest , I don't see much hope for that in a " small " house ) !! I don't think I'll try to move that massive sectional couch ( I bought it from the Man I bought this house from it was already in the living room ) !! BTW almost forgot the up right freezer ( looks like full size fridge ) & small chest freezer ( big enough to hold half of a beef ) .... How large of a " small house " am I going to need ? Can You he)p ? Almost forgot the OTHER 55" tv in the liveig room & the 40" tv in the bed room ! ( just keeps getting better huh )
I would like to see two or three windows above the front porch ( to let hot air out in the summer ) & two or three windows on the opposite end of the house , low as possible to let cool air in ( creating a cool air flow of sorts ) all windows would have to have screens ( for obvious reasons ) . Also would be nice to have stacked washer & dryer too .
@@iDesignKH That's a shame . This is one of the very small selection of this type small house I think I could actually live full time in ( especially if it was on grid ) . It could however lead to Me ( or My Wife going to prison or death row if You know what I mean - - close quarters being what it is and all ) !-? JUST KIDDING ( kinda )
Where is the hot water heater in this house ? Have You ever considered useing space saveing furniture in Your designs ( some are very effective & extremely clever , especially the kitchen) ?
@@iDesignKH In U.S.A. ( to My understanding , mind You I could be wrong on this ) , if the deck & roof over it are permanently built into the house , You're gonna pay property tax on that sq ft as well ( but if it is not built in , it isn't taxed ) .
@@iDesignKH are You saying this house might be able to be built for $5000.00 ? ( or do You mean : $50,000.00 , as in fifty thousand U.S.D. ? ... one sheet of plywood sells for something like $30 U.S.D
