This film was made by Chris Taylor and Terry Mendoza of Westcliff Film and Video Club. (Now SEFM) It was shot on Super 8 film and the original still exists and looks good.
I think it must be better quality than the copy I had. A great film of them early days and a few of them in that no longer with us I am sad to say. Well done... Dave Gillbee used to talk about Terry Mendoza. I have updated both films info.
There is another film we shot (SVHS) of Tim Lloyd (Timbo) doing a Timbo Road Show in Southend Town Centre probably the year after. I met Keith Rogers (Chanter) again when he was driving a train down Southend Pier....on his way to Radio Atlanta was it?
Might of been Radio Caroline at the end of the pier? Would be good to see the Timbo Roadshow up on you tube. Tim I guess would like to see it and Roadshow Robbo...
TWEED AUDIO - THE HISTORY. great to see the Tweed in operation. Thank you...Please visit :en-gb.facebook.com>PetePetsounds to see more on Tweed and where the desk is now 38 years later.....cheers
Decent looking weather...in 1981, but when? 😕 Was it a heatwave? If it was, it must've been a short one, or I'd have been told about as I was growing up. 😉

Nice to see and hear Keith Rogers, he was later my programme controller on Breeze AM, I used to follow David Baker.
I could listen to him all day long
very interesting listening to radio from back in the day.
This is great. Thanks for posting...and I love the David Arnold Music news jingle
Great to see the start of some of the early radio stations from the IBA days. Thanks for sharing.
The Diane Stradling Standard OutCue (SOC) joke at IRN still lives long ... :-)
