    Thanks very much Natalia. I tried the pattern and the fit was really good. I observed I had a zip bulge at the back so i decided to make the back dart 1.5" instead of 1". It worked, it fitted much better on my back. Thank you so much again. Greetings from Ghana, West Africa 🇬🇭. Gonna try your pant block next. Will let you know how that goes also.

      Thank you! I’ve never tried it on plus size BUT I can’t imagine it wouldn’t work if you’re measuring yourself! The darts may need to be altered a bit if anything, but other than that, I’d say make a couple samples and see if it works!

    YESS, I saw a comment requesting for this video on your last one. I was hoping you would make this. Ahhhhh I'm so proud of you with everything, girly!💞 BTW😂 I have a very irrelevant question but I was hoping you'd be able to answer. I love sewing, but I don't currently have a serger and that can be super difficult especially working with lightweight fabrics cause I'm only left with a zigzag stitch....do I have to order a whole new sewing machine or are sergers separate? And what brand do you recommend???

    • @NataliaTrevinoAmaro

    Hey Natalia, Can we mark the back darts at the same place as the front that is 3.25 for you instead of 2.5? How much difference would it make?
    Also, should'nt the armhole be diffrent for front and back sloper?
    Love your videos😍

    • @NataliaTrevinoAmaro
      @NataliaTrevinoAmaro  3 роки тому +2

      Yea! The darts are pretty much considered a design detail, so placement isn’t super strict. Also yes, the armhole in the back is slightly less curved!

    • @NataliaTrevinoAmaro
      @NataliaTrevinoAmaro  3 роки тому +1

      I spend every day by myself...does that answer the question?😂 but in all seriousness, you don’t have to be any specific type of person to be a fashion designer. Some are super loud and extroverted and some of us are quiet and introverted. Neither makes you a better or worse designer
