UPLOADED ON REQUESTED HOW TO CREATE TOOL PLANE ON A 4 AXIS HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER. =========================== I'M SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH ==========================
thanks a lot Giang , for the program generation on MC is it possible to keep just the top plane make the first face and then rotate the table 45 deg to make the side face and the same for the last face to make the program? thanks again rgds
yes, instead of creating 3 different tool planes and then using 3axis tool-paths on each plane, use can create 1 tool plane then use a Multiaxis-tool path, the part will automatically rotate.
Hi Giang Thanks for your nice videos. How to configure a 4 Axis HMC machine Tree in Machine definition manager? I tried but not works. Machine Base-Table Group-HMC Z axis-HMC BAxis-Mill Machine Table- Fixture/Holder. Spindle Group HMC X Axis-HMC Y Axis-HMC Tool Spindle. While I save this Warning comes as This Machine does not have any valid axis combinations defined and cannot be used in a toolpath group Is it my tree correct could you please help me . I am learning myself. Thank you.
thank you Giang the tool for your toturial really helpful.
Thank you. I will try it like you explained. If it is not too much trouble can you example program the part with the centered WCS for comparison?

How do you have the tombstone appear on the plane?
How you changes vertical to horizontal
thank you for video great
thanks for your reply Giang
the problem is how to match the X,Y,Z axis in mastercam and the machine setup X,Y,Z axis in G54? on the three faces
You can use a probe / indicator to measure distance from part to the rotary center, then put the part in same distance in mastercam.

Try to use mpmaster machine file and post, that's the easiest way to do it.
And what happen when you need repost?
