Hey man, this is awesome. As someone who has done a boatload of audio engineering tho, I have one note: maybe try the Elvis thing where he sang while facing a wall for the slapback. It might help with some of the 'p' noise of your first notes. I don't think there's any way to fix it with playing different...kinda a trumpet thing. You could also fix it is post by just basically phasing out the first 100th of a second on every note, but this could be annoying.
