Tomorrowland is definitely a workout, but it's so worth it! First of all, festival hours are 12pm-1am on Fri-Sat and 12pm-12am on Sunday. The idea is allowing people to get some rest between the days rather than spend 3 days awake, which is also why the camp site has security that forces a quiet night. The venue is a big park near a town called Boom, where the organizers/owners of the festival are from. Every year they build this wonderland all over again with a changing main stage according to the theme of the year. Since the virtual version of the festival due to covid, they recreated the core stage which is only accessible to NFT holders. To accommodate the number of ravers attending each year starting 2014, they added another weekend so you can choose from 2 weekends when you plan on visiting, last year, after a 3 year gap due to covid, they added a 3rd weekend. The citizens of Boom are so welcoming and the entire city is full of TML flags, signs, people giving away gifts and water bottles to ravers, Bars and restaurants are open late so the party goes on just outside the festival site. The organization of the Festival in general is the best you will ever see. From the shuttles that are included in the packages but people can still join for a small fee if they didn't buy a package, to the lockers, solutions for almost everything you may have forgotten to bring, like rental power banks, ear plugs, Sunglasses (mine broke once so it was perfect that I could buy another pair for a decent price on site, cost like 25$), relaxation areas where you can sit around, eat comfortably and even enjoy chill house music. Yes, the grounds are rather big, but you have food, drinks and bathrooms near every stage with complimentary deodorant stations in every bathroom snd even a dj spinning tunes while you pee😂. There's not much they haven't thought about and catered for in the venue. There's also the pre-party for people who bought a global journey package the night before Tomorrowland begins. There's one party called "The Gathering" at the Dreamville site and another one in Brussels called "Invited" for the people who bought Hotel packages. There's also a themed hotel, relaxation day after the festival, European tours, and so many other options. Honestly, there's so much more to say and explore around Tomorrowland that going once or twice just isn't enough 😊.
Yeah I walked my ass off every day I was there. Every night it took so long just to get to the bus back to Brussels. Walk across the whole festival grounds, through the gate, up all these stairs, around all these barns and garages, along an endless fence, and right when your feet are falling off there's a sign that says "15 minute walk from this point."
There is indeed a lot of walking haha! My friend and i knew it was gonna be huge but damn we walked a lot LOL! especially from the far back of magnificent greens ( that's where our tents were located)to the entrace of the festival; it seemed like forever to get there haha
Interesting... one of my favorite parts of TML was the crowd control and one way path directions. Festivals that are large scale like that can be so hectic if there is no control like that. I did go a really long time ago though, so maybe it's different now.
Dear CKR, as a Belgian myself, I've never been because when the wind is in the right direction , I can hear it in my backyard. :) Stayed and I liked it, you didn't just topsy-turvily visit it. It's so balanced! Love it.
I must say a lot of your points are valid, however, I did not find then terrain too difficult to get around. I think it is very well designed for getting around.
Alcohol with extra sugar??? Never seen and never heard about it and never tasted it @TML. I'm going the 13th time to the festival already ;-) The crowd control is excellent, you only need to see the screens before you go onto the bridges. Oké you need to map it once into your memory and then it's excellent. The only negative thing is the distance from the end of the camping site to the entrance at the festival site is huge. That's Belgium. TML is next to homes where people live and they want to sleep, that's why the festival is open on Friday and Saturday from 12u00 till 01u00 and Sunday 12u00 till 24u00. About the weather here in Belgium we say "you can have four seasons in one day". It happens but not a lot. When it rains there are persons which you provide a poncho in every colour of the rainbow. Enjoy yourself @TML. I'll be there in WE2 this year
You should have come to the Blue Zone in Mag Greens ! We combined 4 gazebos and 3 soundboks to make a big afterparty every night both weekends. I hope you go back to tml so u can have a big meetup 🙌😄🇦🇺
Great video!! Loved it!! ☺🤩 Next year will be my first time ever at Tomorrowland and my first huge festival. I'm really excited about it!! I'm from Brazil and I'm used to going to the EDM clubs at night around here, and I love to dance 'till the end (meaning 5 am or 6 am 😝) I'm gonna be camping at TML, I want to experience how it is, and I'm already searching for all the information I can get, 😝and I found your channel. It's already helping me to understand what is going to be like! Thanks for the video!! Awesome work!! 🤗
From someone who lives in Belgium... yeah the weather sucks xD And if you like alcoholic drinks there is a little bar at the camping site with Belgium beers. I really recommend you to try "Triple Karmeliet" or "Duvel" its so good (and strong) :D
@@Nicksta2006 Some are valid, the weather sucks. It was so hot for the first two days and then rained the rest of the weekend. My biggest gripe is why do they have the mainstage sets at 58 minutes. that's so bad to have the biggest artists limited to play a short time, at least play for 75 minutes minimum. i have other complaints, but TL is still awesome, I recommend the festival to other people.
Where do you live the US? It can be pretty expensive if you don’t live in Europe. The travel cost are the most expensive, but the festival tickets are like half the cost of American festival tickets which is crazy
The reason why it's done at 00:00-1:00 is for the neighbors. Rain? Welcome in my country ppfff. Thats why i wanna live in Spain, but no money for that.
I have been 5 times when I lived in Belgium. I hate to say it, but commercialism has wrecked this festival! Lots of people who are not educated into the music! They just want to be there because it’s the biggest and best festival in the world! It’s crazy! Plus the last time I was there I saw many people who took drugs that couldn’t handle their shit! Was very off putting!

Saïd it all!! I’ve been multiple times and to every winter Edition in france. And still feel I haven’t seen it all.
On Fitbit had 71,000 steps. Somehow . . . somehow missed shuttle and walked all the way to train. Brutal.

Start and finish times are 12-12 on Friday and Sunday and Saturday is 12-1am. But yes early finish. But that’s why atmosphere and freedom are inside.
UPDATE! Tomorrowland is now open till @ Friday / Saturday & @ Sunday. ;)

Thank you so much for your videos, it's helping me plan my trip for TML next year!!
❤️❤️❤️
(Also as to being a daytime festival bears mention sunset is around 10:00 PM)
This was so helpful man you have no ideaaa. Please say you’re going this year 😂
You should have come to the Blue Zone in Mag Greens ! We combined 4 gazebos and 3 soundboks to make a big afterparty every night both weekends. I hope you go back to tml so u can have a big meetup 🙌😄🇦🇺

Did they have water stations?
This year 2022 will be 14 stages but its still amazing
Nice 👍🏾
Wow dope
It's good that it's a day time festival becausse if it wasn't the loval towns would revolt against it. Now there is mosylt a lot of support.
Dope

I think I'm your only follower from Syria
Is tomorrowland held this year?A viewer from India. There's no way i can come there 😆.
It’s happening in august and September yes
Fu*uuk im getting back from a knee surgery , im gonna suffer soooo much there
Tomorrowland is my home despite the down sides
I’m just here to see how someone has 5 bad things about Tomorrowland. Couldn’t think of one tbh, best place in the world.
Ok having watched the video none of these are valid and it’s still the greatest place in the world
@@Nicksta2006 Some are valid, the weather sucks. It was so hot for the first two days and then rained the rest of the weekend. I wish I had the money to go

It is virtually impossible for people from USA to get tickets at face value. On a secure secondary market or Global Journey tickets are quite pricey.
First time this year
Here the same, i am from Belgium. 15 July.
The reason why it's done at 00:00-1:00 is for the neighbors.
Rain? Welcome in my country ppfff. Thats why i wanna live in Spain, but no money for that.
Oh darn

TML is not for me
Do people trade Kandi there?
