Ever wonder why and how celebrities come up with their unusual baby names? It seems to be a prerequisite for every famous person who gives birth to name their child the most unique and strangest name you can think of. Elon Musk’s new baby boy X AE A 12 takes the cake when it comes to strangest baby names. Yet Back in 2004 when Gwyneth Paltrow named her daughter Apple, the whole world went crazy. They thought it was the most ridiculous name a star has ever come up with but they probably have never heard of Frank Zappa’s kids’ names, Dweezil, Moon Unit, Ahmet or Diva. So many stars tend to give their kids multiple names like Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, even Jamie Oliver, or Uma Thurman who decided to give her daughter five names. However, even with all the strange baby names that are out there many famous stars tend to put a little more thought into the reason behind their baby name choices. You wouldn’t believe the references behind Queen B and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy’s name. Even Nicolas Cage who named his son Kal-El has a special meaning for the actor. And how can we forget the Kardashian Jenner clan and their many beautiful children. The reality stars all have special meanings behind their children's names and actually put quite a lot of thought behind their choices.

Some of these names aren't really bad... I grew up going to school with kids named 'Thunder', 'Forrest Woods', 'Ronald McDonald', 'Marigold', 'Storm', 'Metro', 'Earth', 'Pear', 'Spring Falls' just to name the few I can remember and I dated a guy when I was in Collage named 'Beach' and another named 'Charlie Brown"

My daughter is named Zelda :) she is 7 years old now. Growing up I loved playing video games and as you might've guessed it,The Legend of Zelda series was my all time favorite. Me and my younger brother bonded by playing LOZ together, he couldn't read the text and I wasn't great at playing so I would read the captions and he would play. It was a big part of me growing up. Zelda loves her name and when she plays smash she always chooses to play as princess Zelda (she assumes the character was named after her) which makes it even better hehe. She is my angel :)

I got a lot of shit when I named her and went back to school (I was only 15 when I had her) people were so mean telling me I was gonna cause her to get made fun of etc. But they were wrong! I was given a very Spanish name when i was born. I live in Canada but my family is origninally from Chile. Although I love my unique name it sucked going into shops that had fun souvenirs with names already on them. They never had my name. Unless i was in Mexico or South America.
