I only discovered a few months ago from UA-cam comments that a lot of people don’t consider the Muff a fuzz pedal. Which I think is really weird. I don’t know if you had actually meant for your video title to say “A Fuzz *Face* and a Muff made love” or whether you deliberately intended for it to distinguish the muff from fuzz, but it reminded me of that debate.
It’s a not even a debate because a muff is a fuzz pedal. They’re very different tho! A fuzz face uses two transistors and a muff uses four. Soundwise a muff is a wall of fuzz whereas a fuzz face can sound mellow if you want. This pedal can do both so I stand by the title 🤘

Hi Sasha, great playing as always! I have also watched your video on the Boss FZ-1W and I would like to ask you the following: between the Eureka and FZ-1W, which one would you recommend for a first fuzz pedal? Thank you and keep up the great work!
Totally depends on what you're after. Both would be great first fuzzes. The FZ1 reacts more like a fuzzface in cleanup and unpredictability, the Eureka! is tighter and more predictable but doesn't clean up as well.
