Astartes typically measure from 7 to 7.5 feet, generally speaking. Primaris are the ones you hear about measuring upwards of 8, some even 9 feet tall. Supposedly this is due to the unlocking of some growth gland normally only active in Primarchs, which stand upwards of 10-11 feet tall.

I know it’s biased but 40K just has amazing people cosplaying. So many gorgeous peieces of armor at display I can’t help but gush and ponder when I’ll take that task on. I hope to have one to display in my own home

i think he means that the recreation is a robot but it isn't. it's a suit designed by the same people who did the dinos for jurrasic park. it was at games day 2010 (games day is the convention where the people who created the warhammers unveil their new stuff and hold a painting competition)
I've always liked Ultramarines and always will, though I will admit they're being spoiled by too much focus on them which backfires in making them seem lamer. I see them as a strict "by the book" Chapter which serves as much a weakness as a strength; and though 'Tyranid Veterans' would make perfect sense, it still goes against the Codex Astartes which they're supposed to interpret as a holy book. While other Chapters understandably outright hate it which is good for Space Marine variety.

Technically, a spacemarine grounded on Earth should be 400+ pounds, unless there is some weight reducing metallurgy I'm unaware of. And that walk looks practiced, I don't think its the suit.
Why do you think space marines have their own separate classes of transports and even spaceships? A Rhino is built for their scale while a Chimera is not.
@Kingonads I'm a massive Imperial Guard fan, but even I understand that without the Marines the Empire would have been overrun long ago. Admittedly the opposite is true as well, the Empire needs it's guardsmen just as much, but they never get the credit they deserve :P
Considering Homefront is stuck with modern rifles while the Space Marine has armor from tens of thousands of years in the future... yeah, no. A single Space Marine could take anything they throw at him short of a HEAT missile. Weapons equivalent to modern rifles in W40K are named stub guns. They will never go through a Space Marine's armor. Ever. Hell, Imperial Guard flak armor - which is just awful - will stop stub gun bullets. The only chance they have is if the target rolls a one to save :P
Aye, and of course they'd be the best at adhering to the Codex. Roboute Guilliman wrote it acording to how 'he' thought Space Marines should act which in turn was how 'he' ran his Legion. I find the Codex is the easiest [and first] means to gauge how different Space Marine Chapters are from each other.
