Thank you lots, Mindy! I ordered this keyboard yesterday because typing seriously on the iPad can be a struggle some times, especially when I have to produce a long document in three hours. I appreciate the effort and I think the keyboard shortcuts you mentioned came in pretty clutch. What worried me when I purchased the keyboard was the lack of a "globe" key like in Apple keyboards because I have to type in more than one language pretty frequently, but I was happy to see a fellow polyglot showing how to do that. Anyway, thank you!

OMGI could kiss you I have been on the phone with Apple and logitech for over three weeks now and they could not figure out why the characters on my keyboard were not typing and just moving the cursor. Lovely tips, sincere voice. 1 thing that really bumps me when moving from Android is the F7 button on the Android helps me go back, while on iPad, it takes me to the home screen.

Your videos convinced me into buying a Logitech K380 Keyboard and an M350 Pebble Mouse for my iPad Pro and Macbook Air. I don't regret a thing as I'm really enjoying them. You're right by the way about the K380 feeling better for typing compared to the actual Macbook keyboard.

Hello! I was having a problem with my Logitech K380 where it was inserting the number 4 after every letter being typed with my left hand. So weird!! But now, it seems to be better. I turned it off and on again. Has anyone heard of this problem before? Thanks for the video - love the shortcuts!

Hi thanks for the video! The keyboard works for me only in the general search of the iPad, but when I enter Google / Docs, etc, the keyboard does not work (with the exception of specific buttons such as enter)

It’s making me so struggle using the keyboard so I really hope you can help me with this 😭thank you inadvance!!

oh sorry I mean the random blue box running around the ipad screen whenever I connect the keyboard to Ipad. Been searching for the solutions but still cannot fix it 😥
@@bichpham6377 ahh! If I understood you correctly, then it could be the Full Keyboard access is turned on in your iPad keyboard settings. Turn it off and you should be fine!

Please please help....on ipad pro...the fn key isnt working. I mean it takes it as "command key". I found it through the keyboard settings in my ipad...and saw fn C option to open command center. i tried to reprogram it. but when i tap function it shows command symbol.

Do you mean how to lock the iPad’s screen, like doing ctrl alt del in a Windows computer? If that’s what you mean then use Fn+L. Thanks for watching!
@@MindyC This is driving me crazy but it is not in your video. How does the INS key work? It is near to the top right corner but does not work when I use Fn + INS, does it suppose to toggle on and off or simply nothing?

How do you change the apps in the cmd + tab menu at 7:26
For me it shows open apps (which is fine) but also some random pre installed apple apps (which are not running in the background) like find my or app store.
Is there any way to change the apps shown in that menu?
My keyboard still can't typing. But working on combination like Command + H Command + space and soon. What should i do to fixing that problem? Thanks

But i have a question, where did you buy that Thai characters stickers for the keyboard? because i want that kind of stickers but with an Arabic characters. We know that there is so many custom stickers for characters in any language but it is not the same size like the k380 keyboard 😆

I have a connectivity problem with my keyboard ( India - iPad OS 15.7 ) whenever I turn off my keyboard, or even leave if unused for some time and it disconnects, it doesn't reconnect with my ipad, I have to go to the settings and forget the device and repair it it everytime. Even tho with my phone and laptop, this issue is never there. I bought the keyboard primarily for my ipad and this thing is such a hassle, everytime I use my ipad. Anyone else also having the same issue?
Thanks again for great tips. Unfortunately, my keyboard is not working well with Pages. I have this K380, of course. I live and work in Japan, so naturally I bought it here in Japan. It has an extra key to the left of the space bar. I’m using it on the iPad Air fourth generation. It types well just fine on the internet ( search bars), on email applications like Gmail and on Apple Notes. However, in Pages, the space bar is terrible/naughty. It closes the application after two presses of the space bar. It’s impossible to write a sentence with the keyboard. If I have to write a sentence in Pages then I have to use the on-screen keyboard or use the microphone. Any ideas on how to resolve this? 🙇🏽
Hi David! Interesting to learn about the different layout of the K380 for the Japanese version! Thanks for sharing! Though I am not sure why your issue is isolated to Pages only. That is really strange! Are you on beta iPadOS version? If yes, it could be the culprit why space bar works ok on some apps but not on Pages. But this is just my guess. I am typing now on my K380 and on my iPad Pro and it works ok. I also did some tests in Pages and it was working ok. Hope you get your issue fixed soon!
Hi! I have this problem, I’ve been searching it everywhere but I couldn’t get answers, so I hope someone will reply to my comment. I have enabled my iPad to have full access on my k380 in the settings. Whenever I type in Safari, i can’t press space because…well idk…it opens that thing on the left (I hope you got my point)
But, has it happened to anyone too? Can I change it in the settings? I need to search well in safari without disabling the “allow full access”

How do you select a key that has more than one function eg select @ key on a letter . Might be basic but not for me
I guess you are using one of the international keyboards. If yes, you may see the Alt Gr key that is found to the right of the spacebar. When pressed in combination with other keys, Alt Gr enables entry of special characters.

I don’t use Google Slides but try to check if Full Keyboard Access is on in your iPad settings. If yes, try to turn it off and see if that fixes it. Good luck! 😉

Hi. How do you add a new line in the same cell at google sheet using a keyboard shortcut command? I tried using Control + Option + Enter which works for Mac but not for my iPad... Pls advice tks!
I don’t think it works in google sheets app in iPad. You can do it if you are using google sheet webapp in desktop mode. Use ctrl or optn or cmd and enter to make another line inside a cell.

Esc key works to exit fullscreen of UA-cam if you are watching in the browser. it will not work when you are in UA-cam app.

I have always a Wi-Fi & Bluetooth connectivity problem when I used Keyboard K380. Did you have this problem like me?
luckily I don’t have this problem. does your wifi and bluetooth constantly disconnect when you use the k380 with the iPad?

Is there a way for me to use the F1 to F3 keys as actual F1 to F3 keys (not making them switch devices)? I need to use the F2 on the Excel app and fn+F2 doesn’t work, it just switches devices…
if you are using a mac or windows, you can change it through the Logitech Options app.

Mine works perfectly
When I connect. Mine says "k380 for Mac would like to pair with your iPad. Enter this code on k380 for Mac to pair" and obviously gets me a code. How am I suppose to type that code in the keyboard??
Just type the code and hit enter and it should connect.
I keep having to enter a code to pair and then it says fail
once you type in the code, hit enter and it should work and will not ask you again when using with the same device.
Also when I use messenger, I can’t my message using the ‘enter’ button, I’ll have to press the ipad to send it. Can I also change that?
seems messenger removed the press enter to send message option recently. same as in viber. Pressing enter on other messaging apps work.
