I’ll say this, going off of what I seen last week: QJ and Rice’s route running was REALLY GOOD. With QJ , aside from dropped passes, one of his biggest flaws was his inability to get open. Again, he was thrown in an X receiver role last year and not utilized in the way he should have been used, but QJ’s routes have got SIGNIFICANTLY better. There were few different plays I watched him where he looked FAST and seem to have improved in separation. And with Rice, one of his biggest knocks coming into the draft was that he wasn’t explosive , wasn’t a GREAT route runner, but we seen him open A LOT last week. Rice looked big and physical, especially going up against double coverage. I was impressed . So shout out to Sanjay Lal for helping develop these young receivers. One of the unsung heroes that doesn’t get credited often, but he’s helped shape A LOT of receivers into key pieces of the offenses he worked with. So whatever QJ and B Rice’s initial knocks to getting open and running routes were coming into training camp , it seems to have been tweaked DRAMATICALLY. Now; with Stick monopolizing the entire first half we really never got to see them shine and make plays, so hopefully this week we will get to see them make plays and be given opportunities to make them.
Completely agree with everything u said. I for some reason put myself through watching that whole game, and I saw a good amount of plays where Q and Brenden were WIDE open. Hopefully when herbo comes back he’ll actually find them. Excited about Ladd too. A couple guys that impressed me as well were Fulton and Daiyan Henley

Harbaugh is the kind of guy who would bring a character trait rumor guy like this in and taking shots like this is something we have needed. If the guy is a problem, kick him to the curb, but no reason to not give him a chance.
I hope that in our last pre-season game that all of the starters play most of the 1st qtr at least, maybe more. Because practice is practice, not the real deal.
I really think we're going to have to have 4 RB's on the 53. Because heavan forbid either Gus or JK are going to get injured at some point this yr. That's just their history. So if we put either Paterson or Vidal on the PS they'll most likely get scooped up.

I like your thinking Director - I don’t buy what Daniel popper says about Vidal potentially getting cut. Maybe Patterson will make RB3 due to experience, but I think Vidal will go out there with some fire behind him! outside of Justin Eboigbe, I can’t think of anyone from this draft class who hasn’t gotten any buzz. So far it seems like the new regime really knows what they’re doing so I hope Kimani shines when he gets his opportunity.
How often was the offensive line pushed back last week? How often were the QB’s pressured within 3 seconds? I did not watch the game last week but I have a feeling the offensive line got handled. One game in and not getting another OL man with the 34 th pick is having its ramifications. Thank goodness the season is not just one game.
It’s plantar facia the bronchitis to the pneumonia of plantar fasciitis if you will he looks like he took care of it a little more healing and basic movement work and he will be just fine
Can receivers who are Good route runners and have some quick twitch make up for an OL that is giving up pressure to the QB? Based on one game the Chargers better hope so.
