"I was watching a documentary about the Exorcist
and it was said the members of Black Sabbath
watched it in the theater and it scared even them
especially Ozzy so that's probably why he is
the way he is now."-🤔🌐🎤🎤🎸🎸🥁🥁📻🌐..
God these chats rule. Thank you all my dudes.

@@Ibexmoonrecords Agreed.
1. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
2. Sabotage
3. Master Of Reality
Same here
Hello old American rockers from old English rocker. Subbed.
1. Paranoid (my introduction to metal. I was only 2 years old back in 1984 when my dad played this record around me.)
2. Black Sabbath
3. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
My band covered After Forever. Went to see Last Supper tour and Ozzy stumbled at the same set of lyrics. He had a teleprompter. My guitarist was standing next to me. We both were grinning ear to ear.
Never Say Die, featuring Don Airey on Air Dance and Over to You.
Amazing album 🤘
1) Paranoid
2) Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
3) Master Of Reality
"St. Vitus Dance and Planet Caravan."-🤔🌐📻🎤🎸🎸🥁🌐..
Great show Steve! 1. Sabotage, 2. Vol.4, 3. Master of reality
Volume 4 / Sabbath Bloody Sabbath / Sabotage
1.Master of Reality
2.Paranoid
3.Black Sabbath
Amazing conversations and stories. I've just found this channel this week and already watched the Manowar and Dio / Sabbath show. The rapport with the 'guests' is so great. Major thanks for making this happen. You could make these shows 5 hours long and I wouldn't notice the time passing.
Thanks be love talking about metal🤘
thank you Devon ! this all started out of me going mad with all the pandemic world !!
@@rockfantasysteve I figured as much. At least some good things come from this shit.
1. Sabotage 2. Never Day Die 3. Vol 4 . The biggest reason those guys never liked Never Say Die is they nearly froze themselves out of Toronto while rehearsing and recording the album. Never Say Die was an incredible different diverse album which Sabotage certainly also was. Part of Sabbath's greatness is the fact they had a great approach to diverse sounding records. From all of I have read Tony had a lot to do with always being present to the whole process of their studio approach.
I'm not versed in Sabbath, so this was cool and informative. Love seeing these guys talk about their fav bands. Great chemistry w these guys. Good shit!
The picture in the gate fold and Technical ecstasy is a picture they use and they're 1976 tour program
My top 3 favorite Ozzy era Black Sabbath albums are:
1) Sabotage
2) Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
3) Master of Reality
Keep doing these hangouts Steve 👌
chris alo we need to see your face.
Yeah? I've been told I have a face for radio!
Also:
1. Sabotage
2. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
3. Tie between Paranoid and Master of Reality
Sabotage is their heaviest record tone wise then self titled and master
First album I ever got was technical ecstasy in 77, wasn’t a gatefold and the lyrics were on the inner sleeve.#1 sabotage #2 master of reality #3 sabbath h bloody sabbath. Great show Steve
Really cool episode Steve 👌
1. Sabbath bloody sabbath
2. Sabotage
3. Master of reality
First night of farewell tour was omaha, nebraska.
Yep, I was there, 2nd row, center. I have about 1,000 concert photos to prove it. :)
@@chrisalo2989 No one saying you were not there Chris. But in the video you said oklahoma.
1st time I saw them was February 19th 1974 largo Maryland capital centre, uriah heep was they're guest band, 2nd time I saw them August 1975 kiss was with them, saw them in 1976 Ted Nugent was with them , saw them twice in 1978 van Halen was with them
Wow, that must have been amazing to see them back then.
Never Say Die is my favorite album cover of all time. It was a case of love at first sight. Maybe it’s the connection between the artwork itself and album title, or the album title and the situation the band was living at that time, or the album title and how the rock n’ roll environemnt was in the late 70’s, maybe it's all these factors combined. I don’t know.
All these feelings did not apply to the music, though. Everything sounded so weird, so far removed from the Sabbath I wanted to hear. I always loved the title track from day 1, but when it came for the other songs, forget it. Awful and boring beyond belief! But, again, because of my fondness for that artwork, from time to time a little demon would whisper something into my ears. “Give that one a try”. “Play that one again”. “Maybe today’s the day”. Eventually, the day arrived. It took me 10+++ years and a lot of insistence, but now I can say that I really appreciate that record for what it is. Its “weirdness” became its strong points for me. The title track, “Johnny Blade”, “Junior’s Eyes”, “Shock Wave” and “Swinging the Chain” are AWESOME songs!
My favorite Ozzy Sabbath albums are:
1. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
2. Sabotage
3. Master of Reality
The ones I’ve been playing the most lately are:
Technical Ecstasy, Never Say Die and Sabotage.
Great, great show as always. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath yes, a genuine masterpiece. Wich had, by the way, the " bar collaboration" of a very talented guy named Rick Wakeman. His incredible input in the arrangements and melodies in the album are all there to be heard.
Yes that is a good point we didn't bring up 🤘
1)Black Sabbath
2)Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
3)Technical Ecstasy
That's so funny that Will said Hippy fest in referring to Sabotage that was the first sabbath album I bought and It's my favorite sabbath album and I've always called it the hippy album.

Did you see the 90s show with Halford, where Iommi walked across the stage during Children of the Grave, to scold Rob who started singing a measure too early?. Rob also did the mellow end section in Symptom of the Universe, which he barely could hit the high notes.
Yes I have a bootleg of that show. I thought it was a great show for Rob filling in at the last minute.🤘
3. Paranoid (War pigs one of the most important songs of all time in metal)
2. Sabotage
1. Masters of Reality
Ozzy has the most universally recognizable voices in metal history.
People constantly slobber over Dio but Ozzy is the original Sabbath and had a better solo career. I guess he'll be more appreciated when he is gone.
3. Vol.4
/Tie
Masters Of Reality
2. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
1. Sabotage
Master of reality
Paranoid
Sabotage
Sabbath bloody sabbath
Black Sabbath
Volume 4
I like this show better than the Mid Hudson squares. The panelist show some respect for each other. You don't have someone saying "Fuck you, I'm gonna kill you" over and over again. Great show Steve.
1) Master of Reality
2) Paranoid
3) Sabotage
My Top 3
3. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
2. Black Sabbath
1. Paranoid
Honorable Mentions
Vol 4
Sabotage
And Technical Ecstasy
Sorry, I'm not that Big into Master of Reality.
Steve kinda looks like metal Ray Bradbury...
1. Paranoid
2. Master of Reality
3. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Too tough to rank singularly, so here's mine, subject to change almost daily :) ...
1) Sabbath Bloody Sabbath / Sabotage
2) Master of Reality / Paranoid
3) Vol.4 / Debut album
1. Technical Ecstasy
2. Never Say Die
3. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath / Sabotage
Thank you guys. Fabulous show tonight. Enjoying all your discussions from down here in Melbourne, Australia. Quick question for Chris Alo: I agree Forbidden is not one of the best albums but there is one riff on that record that truly stands out as brilliant - the last riff in Kiss of Death. Unique and heavy. Your thoughts?
1 Paranoid 2 Black Sabbath 3 Master of Reality
1. Sabotage
2. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
3. Vol. 4
1 Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
2 Master of Reality
3 Paranoid
Very very cool show yall...of one of my all time fav bands in their prime ...just my opinion...Ozzy was wipeing his ass with the rolls of toilet paper that were thrown onstage Greensboro N.C. 1977....They were so good that night...Ozzy yelling Fuc you...fuc you...it was great...i was lower level did not throw any rolls...haha...maybe Snowblind my favorite song...to hard to choose just one...tomorrow it will be The Writ...loved Dio btw.
Hi Guys. Excellent show. Chris Caffrey, Do not be mad, Hall of the Mountain King is so much better of a song than Motley Crue's. The only thing that worked is that they probably made much more money that Hall. Top 3 Ozzy Albums.
1. Black Sabbath
2. Paranoid
3 Vol 4
Yes "Hall of the Mountain king" wins hands down !🤘
"after Ozzy left in the 70's
didn't a singer named Dave Walker
fill in for him."-🤔📻🌐🎤🎤🎸🎸🎹🎹🥁🥁🌐..
Yes he was in the band for a short time before they got ozzy back.

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Will carrol king of multitasking😉
Sabotage, Master, Technical
3. Sabotage
2. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
1. VOL. 4
I hate no Sabbath records
I have to agree that I fucking hate that Ozzy went the reality show route. Watching him barely able to walk and mumble words just was... not good. On the flip side when I think of Bruce Dickinson outside of Maiden I think of him flying airplanes and destroying tables, much more fun.
lol yeah Never Say Die and Forbidden,, TYR lol were duds but Illusion Of Power is a good song tho and if it were on Vol.4 or M-O-R it'd been a classic
Thanks for uploading! If you have a minute, we posted a cover of Van Halen. As fellow music lovers, we'd love if you'd check it out. It's on our page. Don't go too hard on us :)
Manowar is much better than Black Sabbath. Better musicians, louder than hell .What else do you need? The best Sabbath album is probably the first one cos it's so unique. Hard and heavy blues.
I love both band!
Black Sabbath? Really? Child-Man Chris Alo has to defend his Boy crush to the end otherwise he risks facing the abyss within his soul. Steven Keele has product to sell while the others are ageing rockers trying to make their miserable lives worthwhile. In otherwise Sabbath are completely overrated. They were different for 1970 but today they are strictly commercial.
I like what Will said about Thrill Of It All with that drumbeat! The first minute of that song is so killer.
Yes it's so badass!
@@Ibexmoonrecords I've gotten strange looks at stoplights for pounding the shit out of my steering wheel while listening to that!
1. Black Sabbath
2. Sabotage
3. Master of Reality
These are all 10/10 and Sabotage and Master of Reality could flip on any given day. The self-title will always reign supreme for me though.
1.Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 2. Vol.4 3. Master Of Reality
