It's so painful. This whole album is so painful. It's so vulnerable, everything hurts. The 3 bonus tracks just opens the wound again. It's like the whole album is about the absolute hollow feeling of yearning for a partner, a companion, a friend to share the pain with and be at peace.
Let's take a moment and realize that this man made us live his project not only as an audio experience but visual too... the best project this year hands down.
Honestly, it's really sad Abel's darker songs are less popular than his radio friendly bops but OG xo fans know this is why we got on the ride with him in the first place
All i hear on the radio from the weekend is starboy(rarely), save your tears, and blinding lights. I wanna hear the hills and too late and all of the good stuff.
This video is filled with references from Abels past. Glass Table Girls, The Zone, the girl from Wicked Games, Twenty Eight, Asian girls from Adaptation, Kissland, the deer from Call out my name. Abel is telling us of the struggles from the past life of drugs, alcohol, sex and stardom. He references many of his old songs like love in the sky, coming down, the fall and high for this and how his old life keeps dragging him back but he continues to reinvent himself. What a ride.
I've seen a video where it says the Weeknd and Abel tesfaye are different people, ones a character embodying the drugs, pain everyone wants to see from the weeknd and Abel is the one who's fixing himself
There's only one man that can protect him well actually he's not a man he was at one time he came here in the flesh and died on the cross for our sins he needs God and if he think he strapped to a contract that he signed so he might as well Live It Up they have tricked you and lied to you you have a way out all you have to do is get on your knees and how the Lord you are a sinner and you cannot do this on your own and ask for forgiveness and ask him to come into your heart and be Lord of your life that you need him and without him you cannot be saved that you want the free gift of salvation and whatever contract he thinks he's bound to oh no longer had no chains on him he will be set free he must turn his back on the industry or we will lose Abel because we are already slowly losing him he has the voice of an Angel the words of the devil but he can use that beautiful god-given gift to glorify God and not to be afraid to call out God by his name Yahweh the Alpha and the Omega the beginning the end Jesus Christ yahshua what we can do is pray for his salvation claim him for the kingdom playing him for the King of Kings the Lord of lords claim him for Jesus Christ because without him you cannot get to the father Jesus came here to save us! To give us away to repent for our sins to confess we are sinners to escape the wrath of God for the punishment of our sins thin can you get not go unpunished and God does not send you to hell you send yourself there by denying you are a sinner by denying Jesus Christ is Lord denying that you are a sinner by saying the Lord needs to catch up with today's world do you not think he did not already know that this world was going to be this way in the Bible it says there will be a great falling away it's called the Great apostasy where are the churches that's what's going to happen yep the church the church is first going to be judged for a wolf's in sheep's clothing if a pastor at your church says you need to be healthy and you need to be rich stand up and walk right out do not give that man one penny you may give him some advice by telling him that he needs to get down from that pulpit and stand in front of one instead of behind it these prosperity preachers that teach nothing about wealth and health yeah who doesn't want to be rich who doesn't want to be healthy but those are things of this world the lord said separate yourself from this world for if you don't you will die like this world it's coming to an end we don't know when but the Lord does not keep his faithful in the dark he says my people will die for lack of knowledge my people will begin to not need me or seek me so I will remind them before the end I will get them on their knees to remember that they need me or they will spend the rest of their days in Hell , our Lord has given us such mercy and Grace on This Nation how we behave anything goes now you can be whatever you want I go buy this pronoun I think I'm a boy trapped in a girl's body you have been programmed because 10 years ago this crap was not going on people think Sodom and Gomorrah was burned down by a hail of brimstone because it's homosexuality that was just a part of it's a small part of it it was because the people forced their way of living their beliefs on them and if you resisted they would torture you to death rape your daughters and sons in front of you sodomize them they weren't you human trafficking male and female prostitution you name it it was going on in Sodom and Gomorrah Abraham I asked the Lord if I can find 30 people will you save the city yes if I can only find 15 people will you save the city the Lord said yes this went on back and forth he said what if there is only 3 people the Lord said yes the Lord said I only want one man that will stand up against that a battery that's going on why Abraham is begging him 30 15-20 the Lord only wanted one man 2 to speak to the people just one and you would have stayed the entire city La was Noah's cousin I believe so the Lord gave Mercy on them and lock was also a Believer and did not partake in their lifestyle even though he was surrounded by every day so that's why him and his family were saved because the hearts of all those people were nothing but of evil and the Lord knew it there was no changing them they wanted you to change when the Angels Came In to get lock and his family out of the city the men gathered around locks home and said hand over those two men so we can have our way with them or we will come in and have our way with all of you they were so caught up in their sin they didn't even realize that they were angels God's holy angels sent down they wanted to sodomized them that's how far away those people got from God that they couldn't even recognize angelic beings right in front and in Genesis when the Lord said my spirit shall not resign with man forever for a hundred and twenty years the church has run off for that thinking that we get to live for a hundred and twenty years no my friends that's not what that means it was a timeline from the old age to the new age the Lord was saying 120 years I am giving man which took Noah 120 years to build the ark he gave man a hundred twenty years to get their act together but they still didn't the only reason why 8 people were saved because they were only 8 people the other Bloodlines were tainted with bestiality the Fallen ones Noah's family was the only pure bloodline see Satan was trying to destroy the bloodline of the human race because the Lord said it shall come by a woman and it will bruise you on its head so he knew whatever was coming was coming by a female and it would not be your average birth it would be a virgin birth that's why you have so many counterfeit stories of all these virgin verse like nimrod who died unexpectedly who is married to his mother that was his wife who had an affair and was pregnant and made the astonish claimed that she got pregnant by Nimrod he miraculously came alive and then inseminate in her and then died again and that this how we got Sun worshipping oh I could go on and on with so many facts the Bible open it read it it's amazing Let It Come Alive to you let it feed your inner soul it is starving God bless you all Jesus Christ is the only way to the father everyday you get a new day to make it up by repenting for your sins but don't make a game out of this cuz the Lord knows your heart he knows if you are truly struggling with something and you are truly sorry because eventually after you keep repenting it will get easier and easier and eventually you will start to hate that thing that is separating you from God I love you all the devil is a liar and deceiver and he wants you all in hell with him for he was the Lord's favorite angel but we was a lord prized possession he loves us more than anything he made us in His image and likeness and the devil hates us for that he hates that we have salvation he can't believe that God came here in the flash to be slaughtered like a lamb for us he just cannot comprehend that he hates it so he hates you just remember that and the lord loves you God bless you all
I genuinely feel like The Weeknd is the best living artist out there. He is the only artist I have all of his songs on a playlist and I've never skipped ever. What an amazing artist
I still dont know why mainstream dont like this kind of songs. This is straight up r&b. This is The Weeknd's style and genre. This should be up there at the top.
Since when the mainstream likes real talent? They only like trash, honestly... And when an artist like him pops up, they just turn their heads other way.
I hope we never lose Abel like we lost Mac Miller. Please find happiness Abel, same for you whoever reads this. (PS. Thank you Abel, I know you won't see this but your music has helped me get through extremely rough times)
Something tells me he’s going to “bleed out” until he’s finished expressing his emotions. But let me tell you, when he’s finished he’s going to be reborn & that’s when he’s gonna make another bomb a** album.
there is so much pain in this song. I love how he has taken a concept that is inspired from his own life and turned it into a beautiful and electrifying masterpiece. I don't know whether the album was therapeutic or destructive for me which is a sign of a GREAT friggin' album. It tells a story and all of relate to it in our own different ways because most of us have faced this sort of a turmoil in varying intensities. He really took my heart away with this album, it is probably the most orchestral and conceptual albums of all time!
I think the weeknds music is only beneficial to society ..never destructive even if he's singing about doing coke like his song faith..hes singing about the negative aspects of addiction not glorifying it
That line and delivery: "I wanna cut you outta my dreams. Until I bleed it out." So relatable. We've all been there. Wishing we can dissect our mind and just remove the memory.
Really love that despite his fame he is still in touch with the original sound that made us love him in the first place. Nostalgia. Dude is a true artist. The video mimics dreams while sleeping that are connected somewhere in the subconscious to reality.
And he's singing like he's asleep or dreaming in this song ..every time I listen to this song I love and respect it more the weeknd( abel ) is a genius
I'm 50 years old. I have bought and own albums by legendary artists in my time. Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Prince, George Michael, Whitney Houston, etc. I'm telling you , "The Weeknd" is very special. He makes art, not just music. He's exposing his soul to us with these songs. The level of honesty and commitment here is off the charts and you get emotionally invested as a fan. He's different in a way that you only see once in an awhile. I pray that the toll of his stardom and passion doesn't consume him like it has so many of the greatest of all time.
I’m 36 so remember many of the greats you mentioned, very well and I agree. I think Abel is getting so much appreciation but I don’t think everyone realizes just how close he is to reaching their status. He’s very special and I see him continuing to wow us for many years to come.
Abel did a good job here, I can't stop listening his album and i can't stop thinking about I saw this concept in other groups in the kpop industry, for example bts, they based on a psychologist book of Carl Jung, in that book he talks about all our personalities and "personas" we have, bts made an hole trilogy about this since 2016 talking about school system in Korea and love yourself. I hope he can do more of this, I followed him about 4 years but I dislike his 3rd album but this is art, I like it! it's really awesome seeing western musicians doing concepts and having theories bc this remind me to kpop lmao.
its heart breaking when you realize that he doesnt even want to party or do anything in (i THINK) LA. in it he says "i just wanna feel the ground when im coming down" which basically implies that he doesnt want this lifestyle anymore. he just wants to be with the one that he (again GUESSING) hurt. its absolutely gut wrenching to just think about the hole that the character dug himself into and now hes literally pleading with himself to get out. i fucking love the weeknd.
Abel took us back in time to reexperience “The Zone” music video vibes/nostalgia, loved that. The way I interpreted this music video is that the people at the party all dressed in black pulling at him and holding onto him represent the drugs, lust, sex, -the life that he’s trying so hard to break away from. The bright lights in the distance represent the clean life he wants for himself, that he is trying to escape to before it’s too late and he’s consumed by his toxic lifestyle.
King of the fall? Yeah... the fall is soon. I can agree. These might be his emotions he’s expressing through sound and video, his trauma, but it relates all too well to the trauma we’re all experiencing, and about to experience. Though to be honest, we kinda need a reset. It’ll be better in the end. Especially because I have plans to create an Eden for humanity and beyond... it just won’t happen until all our conflicts are resolved.
@@waterpoloboy24 not yet. We have to make it ourselves. But I can promise you this: if people believe in making change that’ll set us off down the correct path, we can literally do anything we want.
I swear, Abel just can't f*cking stop making priceless, classy music. He is like the Mercedes in the game. This is art at its finest, people. Glad we are alive in these times to see it for ourselves in person.
In case you missed it:- Glass table girl statue, multiple balloons - Trilogy/House of Balloons Asian girls, rainbows - Kissland He is trying to escape: his past, musically and literally.
There’s something about Abel’s music that makes it so addicting. like, you give it a listen and then you just can’t stop listening to it. His music is honestly so amazing. There’s never been one bad song in any of his albums. Thats what I love about his music!
This song explains your darkest demons which are part of you and you can't get rid of them. You just have to accept them for what they are provided what you experienced in the past or whatever you facing in the present. This song is the true definition of your subconscious mind and lyrics are what your soul is trying to say which you can't explain. The Weeknd is the only artist that takes you to your darker dimensions only to accept what you have instead of running away from it. When nothing goes right, go weeknd. XO Till We Overdose.
This is a beautiful song. This whole album is so personal. The lyrics hit deeply. Kinda has me worried about how he's holding up as a person though not just an artist... There is a lot of pain here.
I know right like you legit feel his pain when listening to him... like we’ve all lived similar realities 🥺❤️❤️ guess this just reminds us that he’s just human like us, withstanding all the money and fame
if you’ve heard Save Your Tears and Call Out My Name, you could tell he’s not over his break up with Selena (for instance, the girl in Save Your Tears is kinda like a reference to Selena, (the song was Dance Again), the girl had the same hair and earrings.
@@robloxyay2440 bro abel not tripping over a girl this is clearly about the drugs. i myself feel the same way, i understand how abel feels in this track.
Anyone else notice he’s literally in the “house of balloons” this album is the closest thing to trilogy so far. It’s amazing. The transitions on this album reminds me of kissland too
This is the *After Hours* storyline: In Alone Again, he was struggling to draw the line between being in a relationship and living the nightlife. Too Late talks about how he can't be saved from himself. Hardest To Love and Scared To Live, he reminisces on hurting this lover so many times that she's hesitant to love anyone else. She ultimately leaves him, and he's kind of reflecting on that. Escape LA and Snowchild, he's reflecting on material things and women, but they all feel the same now. In Faith he parties so hard he OD's. Heartless and Blinding Lights, he's embracing the nightlife, and at the end of the songs he harkens back to a specific lover for comfort. In Your Eyes, The Weeknd suspects his lover of seeing someone else. In Save Your Tears, he tries to go back to this lover again, but this time she won't accept him. In Repeat After Me, it's confirmed that his lover finds someone else. The Weeknd is put off by this, and suggests that she doesn't love the new guy, and doing this to spite him. In After Hours, he misses this lover and the only way he can get close to his lover again is in his dreams. And the only way he can forget, is by getting high. But now, the high isn't working (after the OD scare, he realized the high he wants is unobtainable). And he's feeling lonely in those crowded rooms with all of those women that look the same. In Until I Bleed Out, he's sick of getting high, and he's sick of thinking about this lover, and the only way to stop it is by cutting himself, and bleeding out (killing himself). Final Lullaby was coming to terms with dying, and putting himself and his fantasies about his lover to sleep. I look at this album like his Rolling Stone song. He's talking about a lover, life, drugs, and fans as a multi-entendre. And also, this theme reminds me of Tears In The Rain. Who knew that song would reflect an album 7 years later.
YoungWeeknd AH 2:04 has to be my fav part, that extension and emphasis on the part where he says “whoaaaa im bleeding out, girl im bleeding” just too deep...
I hate how people think this song is about a lover. It's clearly about his lifestyle and how he wants out, he doesn't want to live the life he's living anymore edit: the music video also confirms this
The songs about addiction he doesn't want to be addicted anymore he definitely needs to get sober but then again he's afraid because he'll lose his creativity or he think so what do you need to know is he will become more creative
This song is about how this breakup is affecting his life, and how he is trying to forget about her by leaning into drugs. We see the negative effects of that in this video, he wishes he could forget about her so that he doesnt have to hurt himself to fill the hole in his heart with drugs
@@stormstudios6734 no dude he mentions how he doesn't want to live the life he's living multiple times, " I don't wanna touch the sky no more" "I just wanna feel the ground while I'm coming down it's been way too long" "I want it out of my life" then he proceeds with the chorus that says "I wanna cut you out of my dreams" it just doesn't work if you're thinking of it as a lover point of view
if i could hug one person on the planet it would be Abel. He’s gone through so much and the whole album just illustrates his pain and his journey. i hope he finds peace :,)
I really want him to be okay because he’s one of the only few artists whose music is something I’m emotionally attached to and I’d be devastated to wake up one day to find out he’s no longer with us.
This is definately one of the most underrated songs of the album. Personally I think it’s one of the best, makes me shiver every time, and he brings more emotion to his voice and his lyrics than in songs like blinding lights and in your eyes. I aint saying They are bad, i love those songs as well, They can just not stand up to the slow, haunting and emotional Tracks like this and some others, like After Hours, Repeat after me and Escape from LA. I also really like Faith as well, because it’s very Unique in a good way. (This is my opinion, and I don’t claim that everybody should think like me. I really love this album, and almost Every song on it is a masterpiece)
it’s so crazy to me that some people think he’s “glorifying” drugs and alcohol and that his face is beat up. Here i am at 3 am thinking about all of his other music too and how he’s just telling his life stories through his music. That’s what got him to the top, i believe. It’s because he’s showing us how he feels through music. He’s not trying to glorify it, he’s just telling his story. XOTWOD
Some people don’t even know that his mixtape Thursday actually tells a story . It’s just sad . He really puts so much effort and simple minded folks don’t catch on :(
I love 2:40 so much, it sounds so desperate and cold, plus it’s the last spoken words on the album (without the deluxe stuff), which is poetic. The first song he’s speaking about being in Vegas and drowning things out to not be alone, and the last words on the last song is him pleading that he doesn’t need these harmful things anymore
Ersim716 no, sadly that’s not it. It’s about love being a drug and him not needing Bella Hadid. That’s the entire album, hope you’re in a better place now that you know.
hits different when you’re depressed after a breakup. that’s why i feel in love with this mans music from the beginning. i found trilogy after a breakup. the weeknd’s music helps me in my darkest times. XO
Same I found love after a woman tore my heart I found this song after feeling emotionally stressed but this song is a reminder to say that toxicity is not love and you can change your life thank yourself but also thank god for helping you trilogy came to my mix a week later
I think the music video represents his life as a celebrity, he has everything he ever wanted, the money, the fame, but he's lonely, he feels empty even though he has become the most famous singer. Watch the short film of after hours you'll understand
Lyrics : I can't move, I'm so paralyzed I'm so paralyzed I can't explain why I'm terrified I'm so terrified Well, I don't wanna touch the sky no more I just wanna feel the ground when I'm coming down It's been way too long And I don't even wanna get high no more Just want it out of my life Out of my life, out I wanna cut you outta my dreams 'Til I'm bleeding out 'Til I'm bleeding I wanna cut you outta my mind 'Til I'm bleeding out 'Til I'm bleeding I wanna cut you outta my dreams Whoa, I'm bleeding out Girl, I'm bleeding I wanna cut you outta my mind 'Cause I'm bleeding out Oh, I'm bleeding Girl, I'm bleeding I keep telling myself I don't need it I keep telling myself I don't need it anymore I keep telling myself I don't need it anymore Need it anymore If you made it this far can you check out a song of mine I just released on my channel and tell me what you think of it? I’m just getting started and any type of feedback/opinion will be helpful for me in order to improve my hustle. anyway thank you for your time and have a nice day!
They really dragged him down and pulled him away from trying to be sober and escape the life of party and drugs and unhealthy relationships. Hes trying to Escape LA, his addiction and this lifestyle. This song is more important than most might think. This is an evolution. Where The Weeknd normally talks about his nice experiences with drugs, and the fame (Starboy), i feel like this album really tells his story and leaded to this song. He cant take it anymore. Not just The Weeknd, but also Abel has beena affected...... This makes me very curious to his future projects, and i hope hes going to feel better. Beautiful video
@@theabuse291 it has to to with more but it all is related to his addiction. The drugs that he 'wants to cut out of his mind' it sounds like it is about a woman but I think it's about the drugs.
No Kevin McAvoy's elaborate portrayal of multiple personalities in split is insane acting ability. There's absolutely nothing special about his acting in this music video. He's just moving around like he's drunk and that's it. He's doing the absolute bare minimum in terms of acting skill.
This has to be the most "Trilogy" song on this album. The mix of druggy, reverberating vocals, ripping synths and deep basses creates this grand, operatic wall of sound searing with pain and melancholy. Exactly the vibe of his greatest hits.
I'm honestly worried about him. He doesn't seem to handle fame well and is still dealing with a lot of personal problems. I've been binging his videos and they're cinematic master pieces but he's just so full of pain. He's a very obviously broken human being and I kinda feel selfish that I enjoy having someone to relate to in that way. I want him to be happy more than I want someone to relate to, I hope he finds that and the healing he needs
@@WalnutAir His songs are all about his struggle with drugs and being alone. And the way he writes them seems way too personal to just be a story he made up for a character. They're too in depth
@@jorgerosario7525 Right. All his songs and especially the music videos lately have seemed like cries for help and everyone is just ignoring it because it's artistic. It's exactly like the mv for save your tears. He's tearing himself apart and coping really really badly and the people are still applauding
I love how this video incorporates references from Thursday, House of balloons, Echoes of silence and Kissland. The balloons itself represent the HOB, the colours of the balloons represent Thursday and the colour of Abels suit represent EOS. The video itself is set in the house of balloons while a number of things take place. Each of the females represented in the video (Glass table girls, valarie, the zone, Thursday and Kissland girl) show the struggles Abel has faced prior to his years to stardom. In which, it highlights his past sex crazed drug and alcohol life. The irony is now that the focus is shifted onto Abel instead of the girl in the ‘The Zone’ with him being the centre of it all. The visuals on a whole, are both theatrical and symbolical with great references of his past work. My king has done it once again❤️. X’O If anyone wants to check out my analysis I just did not the ‘twenty eight’ mv and add to it u can.
This song all but confirms we're never getting "Trilogy" Abel again. It was his masterpiece, but it was also the worst part of his life, and it's clear he's on the verge of relapsing back to his old habits. We'd all want to get that Trilogy vibe, but clearly it's best for Abel to continue doing what he's doing right now. The darkness isn't worth it.
My granddad told me he got to see Elvis in his prime My dad told me he saw MJ in his prime My older brother told me he saw Timberlake in his prime I'll tell my kids I saw The Weeknd in his prime
I swear you just get trapped in this song. It’s so heavy and emotional. As you do with many of the the other tracks on the album. It’s just absolutely amazing, as if you’ve been taken to this unworldly dimension in your mind.
My interpretation of this video is that He’s high and starting to come down, so he’s starting to realize this isn’t what he wants anymore. The balloons represents House of balloons (obviously) and everyone around him represents people who enjoys his old music and prefers him to be on drugs. They see he’s hurt and don’t care because they just want to be entertained. The people dressed in black are his demons and fans dragging him down wanting him to stay in his old ways. But he’s fighting his way out, he’s fighting his urges to get high again because he doesn’t want to be that type of person anymore. He’s in a cycle and every time he tries to stop he just ends up falling back to his old ways. He then realizes when he’s sober there’s no one around him. He’s alone in the cold realizing he lost his fans due to wanting to be sober and him losing his love because it was to late to change. I believe in the end when he’s looking straight into the camera, he’s right back to where he started, coming to a conclusion that this is all he has now and decides to stay in the high.
I can’t stop watching this video. The emotions felt through the song and video is just incredible. Honestly to me this is his best video to date. Kind of reminds me of the rolling stone video In a way, I feel like this video was specifically made for his og fans.

To give us away to repent for our sins to confess we are sinners to escape the wrath of God for the punishment of our sins thin can you get not go unpunished and God does not send you to hell you send yourself there by denying you are a sinner by denying Jesus Christ is Lord denying that you are a sinner by saying the Lord needs to catch up with today's world do you not think he did not already know that this world was going to be this way in the Bible it says there will be a great falling away it's called the Great apostasy where are the churches that's what's going to happen yep the church the church is first going to be judged for a wolf's in sheep's clothing if a pastor at your church says you need to be healthy and you need to be rich stand up and walk right out do not give that man one penny you may give him some advice by telling him that he needs to get down from that pulpit and stand in front of one instead of behind it these prosperity preachers that teach nothing about wealth and health yeah who doesn't want to be rich who doesn't want to be healthy but those are things of this world the lord said separate yourself from this world for if you don't you will die like this world it's coming to an end we don't know when but the Lord does not keep his faithful in the dark he says my people will die for lack of knowledge my people will begin to not need me or seek me so I will remind them before the end I will get them on their knees to remember that they need me or they will spend the rest of their days in Hell , our Lord has given us such mercy and Grace on This Nation how we behave anything goes now you can be whatever you want I go buy this pronoun I think I'm a boy trapped in a girl's body you have been programmed because 10 years ago this crap was not going on people think Sodom and Gomorrah was burned down by a hail of brimstone because it's homosexuality that was just a part of it's a small part of it it was because the people forced their way of living their beliefs on them and if you resisted they would torture you to death rape your daughters and sons in front of you sodomize them they weren't you human trafficking male and female prostitution you name it it was going on in Sodom and Gomorrah Abraham I asked the Lord if I can find 30 people will you save the city yes if I can only find 15 people will you save the city the Lord said yes this went on back and forth he said what if there is only 3 people the Lord said yes the Lord said I only want one man that will stand up against that a battery that's going on why Abraham is begging him 30 15-20 the Lord only wanted one man 2 to speak to the people just one and you would have stayed the entire city La was Noah's cousin I believe so the Lord gave Mercy on them and lock was also a Believer and did not partake in their lifestyle even though he was surrounded by every day so that's why him and his family were saved because the hearts of all those people were nothing but of evil and the Lord knew it there was no changing them they wanted you to change when the Angels Came In to get lock and his family out of the city the men gathered around locks home and said hand over those two men so we can have our way with them or we will come in and have our way with all of you they were so caught up in their sin they didn't even realize that they were angels God's holy angels sent down they wanted to sodomized them that's how far away those people got from God that they couldn't even recognize angelic beings right in front and in Genesis when the Lord said my spirit shall not resign with man forever for a hundred and twenty years the church has run off for that thinking that we get to live for a hundred and twenty years no my friends that's not what that means it was a timeline from the old age to the new age the Lord was saying 120 years I am giving man which took Noah 120 years to build the ark he gave man a hundred twenty years to get their act together but they still didn't the only reason why 8 people were saved because they were only 8 people the other Bloodlines were tainted with bestiality the Fallen ones Noah's family was the only pure bloodline see Satan was trying to destroy the bloodline of the human race because the Lord said it shall come by a woman and it will bruise you on its head so he knew whatever was coming was coming by a female and it would not be your average birth it would be a virgin birth that's why you have so many counterfeit stories of all these virgin verse like nimrod who died unexpectedly who is married to his mother that was his wife who had an affair and was pregnant and made the astonish claimed that she got pregnant by Nimrod he miraculously came alive and then inseminate in her and then died again and that this how we got Sun worshipping oh I could go on and on with so many facts the Bible open it read it it's amazing Let It Come Alive to you let it feed your inner soul it is starving God bless you all Jesus Christ is the only way to the father everyday you get a new day to make it up by repenting for your sins but don't make a game out of this cuz the Lord knows your heart he knows if you are truly struggling with something and you are truly sorry because eventually after you keep repenting it will get easier and easier and eventually you will start to hate that thing that is separating you from God I love you all the devil is a liar and deceiver and he wants you all in hell with him for he was the Lord's favorite angel but we was a lord prized possession he loves us more than anything he made us in His image and likeness and the devil hates us for that he hates that we have salvation he can't believe that God came here in the flash to be slaughtered like a lamb for us he just cannot comprehend that he hates it so he hates you just remember that and the lord loves you God bless you all

there is so much pain in this song.

He's so raw with his emotions than any artist i've known
I hope he can do more of this, I followed him about 4 years but I dislike his 3rd album but this is art, I like it!

its heart breaking when you realize that he doesnt even want to party or do anything in (i THINK) LA. in it he says "i just wanna feel the ground when im coming down" which basically implies that he doesnt want this lifestyle anymore. he just wants to be with the one that he (again GUESSING) hurt. its absolutely gut wrenching to just think about the hole that the character dug himself into and now hes literally pleading with himself to get out.
i fucking love the weeknd.

The songs about addiction he doesn't want to be addicted anymore he definitely needs to get sober but then again he's afraid because he'll lose his creativity or he think so what do you need to know is he will become more creative

He realizes the drugs aren’t helping him cope, the come down is a nightmare. Hope you’re in a better place legend.
Ersim716 no, sadly that’s not it. It’s about love being a drug and him not needing Bella Hadid. That’s the entire album, hope you’re in a better place now that you know.
The fact all 3 of us have the pink default profile pic is gold. Watch somebody ruin it.
robert Landono did you call me?
Trey Wilson wait he died????
Kira sj jk that’s uncalled for lol
This is probably the most underrated song on the album
I don't think anybody has their own cinematic universe in music as abel does, his albums, characters and story ark is just on whole another level 🔥🔥
I agree
It's like he changes every era

Montreal a 10/10😤
And don’t forget he can’t feel his face when he’s with you
I can somewhat relate
hits different when you’re depressed after a breakup. that’s why i feel in love with this mans music from the beginning. i found trilogy after a breakup. the weeknd’s music helps me in my darkest times. XO
Same I found love after a woman tore my heart I found this song after feeling emotionally stressed but this song is a reminder to say that toxicity is not love and you can change your life thank yourself but also thank god for helping you trilogy came to my mix a week later
I found this album right after my breakup..felt like a knife poked at my heart
same thing, break ups and drug addiction, I keep telling myself I dont need it anymore.
XO until i bleed out
@@dongambino5308 I’m dealing with both 😔
I think the music video represents his life as a celebrity, he has everything he ever wanted, the money, the fame, but he's lonely, he feels empty even though he has become the most famous singer. Watch the short film of after hours you'll understand
Lyrics :
I can't move, I'm so paralyzed
I'm so paralyzed
I can't explain why I'm terrified
I'm so terrified
Well, I don't wanna touch the sky no more
I just wanna feel the ground when I'm coming down
It's been way too long
And I don't even wanna get high no more
Just want it out of my life
Out of my life, out
I wanna cut you outta my dreams
'Til I'm bleeding out
'Til I'm bleeding
I wanna cut you outta my mind
'Til I'm bleeding out
'Til I'm bleeding
I wanna cut you outta my dreams
Whoa, I'm bleeding out
Girl, I'm bleeding
I wanna cut you outta my mind
'Cause I'm bleeding out
Oh, I'm bleeding
Girl, I'm bleeding
I keep telling myself I don't need it
I keep telling myself I don't need it anymore
I keep telling myself I don't need it anymore
Need it anymore
If you made it this far can you check out a song of mine I just released on my channel and tell me what you think of it? I’m just getting started and any type of feedback/opinion will be helpful for me in order to improve my hustle. anyway thank you for your time and have a nice day!
After hours is legendary, change my mind.
Cant bro because you're right
No doubt about that 👌💯
That supra tho...
Have you tried listening to Beauty behind the madness, Kissland, trilogy?????
Every album is legendary frfr 😩😩💯
I said it before and I'll say it again, this man is a pure genius. The lyrics explains so much and the video provides a visual of his pain.
This is literally the worst song you could have picked to say that
storm breaker this is literally the best song he could have picked to say that but okay
He's in a house of balloons surrounded by glass tables and girls. ICONIC
Believe man this is not only for the drugs, is way darker than that
The Abuse wym?
@@theabuse291 it has to to with more but it all is related to his addiction. The drugs that he 'wants to cut out of his mind' it sounds like it is about a woman but I think it's about the drugs.
Such a haunting, otherworldly, magical, mysterious and beautiful closing track to a fantastic album
I can't believe how good this album actually is.
after being high and drunk everyday for 6+ years this is what coming down feels like, so cool how he captured that feeling and put it into visuals
This man’s acting ability is insane. You can tell how much effort he puts into his music career.
he isnt acting
God gave him everything but he feels still empty trust me I know how it feels
@@sameermuhammad9335 Trust me too 😞.. Got the money got the cars
Got the ceiling with the stars
...but It's nothing,without........
I think it's because he felt all of that before he turned it into art.
Yes and also Nothing Compares
5000 Subs 3 videos please help ong i was thinking that this is the most trilogy song in the album

Life’s too short to pretend you don’t like The Weeknd.
Pranav Mehta lmaoooo right
I was thinking about life is too short🤣🤣
Agreed. This album came out just when we all needed it
that's deep.
@LeeRock 27 ????? Is it possible that you just can't understand them? Cuz I can't even put into words how amazing and deep his music videos are
This song is actually so deep the pain on his voice give me chills every time
I'm honestly worried about him.
You mean him irl? I haven't really seen much of that. This is literally just a made up character.
@@WalnutAir do u even pay attention to the meaning of his lyrics...
@@WalnutAir His songs are all about his struggle with drugs and being alone. And the way he writes them seems way too personal to just be a story he made up for a character. They're too in depth
Well said. I've always wondered that since the trilogy days. Hes gotten sadder overtime it feels like.
@@jorgerosario7525 Right. All his songs and especially the music videos lately have seemed like cries for help and everyone is just ignoring it because it's artistic. It's exactly like the mv for save your tears. He's tearing himself apart and coping really really badly and the people are still applauding
“It’s always been in me. I just had to be confident enough to let it out.” - The Weeknd
If this man doesn't win album of the year I will be throwing hands...
Aaron it’s just that good :)
This song hits so deep within me it just sounds so melancholic and depressing and raw

@scooter you better watch your mouth
X’O
If anyone wants to check out my analysis I just did not the ‘twenty eight’ mv and add to it u can.
Exactly, you put this so perfectly. I totally missed Valerie tho, where is she?
ani.xvi _ Perfectly stated
I was thinking same the trilogy IS so him . This albulm IS more 90's sonority
You missed bbtm and mdm... The chandelier frome the hills video and the deer from call out my name...
You went full force with this comment, respect
This song all but confirms we're never getting "Trilogy" Abel again. It was his masterpiece, but it was also the worst part of his life, and it's clear he's on the verge of relapsing back to his old habits.
We'd all want to get that Trilogy vibe, but clearly it's best for Abel to continue doing what he's doing right now. The darkness isn't worth it.
Exactly, your right.
I feel like those people bringing him down represent his fans who want the trilogy abel again..
I agree. I love songs on Trilogy, BBTD, & After Hours the most, but as long as he is happy
Agreed
I seriously had no idea trilogy was that dope until i read your comment and listened -it truly is a masterpiece
He express his feelings on the song so full-heartedly.
We need vids for "Faith" and "Escape from L.A."

I swear you just get trapped in this song. It’s so heavy and emotional. As you do with many of the the other tracks on the album. It’s just absolutely amazing, as if you’ve been taken to this unworldly dimension in your mind.
I wish Weeknd never runs out of stories to tell us through his songs
abel really dropped the best album in the past three years. music needed him. im going to meet him one day and make a song together. i promise that

Thew weeknd is being dragged in his House Of Ballons ways. Hes even in the place
Lowkey UA-camr this is the greatest comment ever
if you never been stuck in a dark place you will never understand this song. very dark and i can relate in so many ways.
Perfect explanation. This might be his best video yet. Just raw emotion in this. The balloons definitely take me back to to 2011.
Ar J YES!!!! I thought of rolling stone too!
