Wow 😦 ❤️ That's what calligraphy is for me! All what you said, about expression of worshiping God. This video is life changer. I worship Him by singing, playing guitar and stuff. But wait! Writing? The tears fell down. I could feel the Holy Spirit calling me to try it. Thank you. You are such a precious tool for the loving hands of God. I didn't expect that.

Wow Connie,.. I'm Really moved by your Testimony and Dedication. i knew there was something Very Special about you when for the first time i watched one of your videos. At that point i had no idea that you are a master penman, (Oops, :) but fealt that i needed to write a comment,which you Gracefully replied to. Like Rafael, i too had tears streaming down my face, through your Testimony. i had something similar to Lupus and my immune system was identifying my muscle tissue as enemy and manufacturing silly amounts of white cells to destroy them. But like you i Trust in Jesus and He brought me through! You and your work are Amazing and i am so Excited at the prospect of looking at more of your videos. I rarely comment on a video but I was watching this and it was many of the same thoughts I have. I began with reading the Bible daily then journaling my own personal thoughts on what I just read ans using a dip pen with good penmanship makes me slow down and think about my thoughts. Thanks Connie and God Bless 🙌
If you ever have time it'd be really interesting to see an example work with just a really basic pointed brush from you.

i have found that if i simply read the bible i can't hold it in my head but if i copy the passage using a dip pen i don't forget it. I am enjoying learning copperplate and somehow bible passages particularly the Psalms seem to just flow through the pen.
