- Here comes the update of the Wilson Clash 100. Version numero dos. Arguably the most comfortable and arm-friendly racket to play with on the market. Or as Areg likes to say the fluffiest one out there. This is kind of a racket for those who don’t want to get the Ultra and want a somewhat powerful and spinny Wilson racket. That sounds like a pretty negative description but both of us actually liked it. Watch the video all the way to the grades to find out just how much.

@@gladiatorstribe You should totally do it if your main concern was low weight. I would expect you to review the Pro version in the first place :)
i loved the first version so much i almost bought it, but 295 with willson means 300g :) looved the low stiffnes and head light specs!! my yonex is also head light, i think this is perfect racquet for us amateurs:) and big head size gives nice power
You're definitely right! Wouldn't say it's the most powerful racket though.
Considering the weather conditions, I enjoyed the review. However, I can't wait to see the reviews of 100 Pro and 98 (specially the second one). 😀 Apart from that, thanks guys.

Hello guys, please help.
I'm intermediate player, trying to play better, but don't play often, once a week mostly, sometimes 2 times a week.
I played 6,7 matches with CLASH 100 (295 grams) , liked the racquet, all good, playing nicely, but in my head wanting more weight, because i thought my hits will be stronger with heavier racquet.
I started to think of myself as i can do better and changed my racquet to VCORE 100 (300 grams), I'm strong guy, trained tennis from age 13 till age 15. Now, I'm 30 years old.
After 3 matches where i played strongly with VCORE i started to get pain in my arm, wrist and elbow, like a sourness and stress on my arm. I want to stick with VCORE as i think it's better racquet for good tennis players, I'm not sure is that smart for me. Maybe I'm not that good with technique as i think i am. Maybe longe term VCORE won't suit me.
Because i changed a few racquets before all of this, now i don't know should i stick to the VCORE and wait to see how it will be in a few months, or i should get back to the CLASH.
If you can maybe help me decide what would you do in my place.

Hey guys I've got a challenge for you. Find the cheapest supermarket racket you can buy. One player plays with his racket of choice, the other with the cheap racket. Play a tiebreaker. If the player with the cheap racket wins, there is a consequence (Please no egg yolks on the tennis courts XD ). Alternate. Should be fun to watch ! ;)
That's an interesting one. Pretty sure it's gonna be a similar situation as with the old-school rackets. Might do it though, thanks for the idea! No eggs, got you 😂😂

I have a question , how would you customize with lead this racquet ? like where would you put it to keep the advantages and just improve penetration through the air and stability ?

Do you think the Clash 100 V2 would be a good choice for a 74 year old 3.5-4.0 player? String suggestion?
It definitely would. It is a very soft and comfortable frame. I would go for some kind of multifilament to get the most comfort possible.

Great review, especially in those Horrendous conditions lmao. Both of you will definitely like hitting with the Clash 100 Pro as it is heavier at 310g unstrung and can get to your 330g preferred weight with strings and lead tape.

It's similar though the Clash is even softer.

I would say it's a marketing thing. Tension is quite personal. Even though there are recommend tensions it all comes down to the person using it.

Yep, the Yonex Ezone 98 for me and the Yonex Vcore 100 for Areg.
how many weight and where you would recommend to put on Clash 100v2 ? Just bought a new one and left for string job. Tnx 🙂
If I use the yonex vcore 98, but am looking for more mass/stability what racket would be a good option that still has good spin potential?
Have you though of adding weight? That's could really improve the feeling. In stock form you're always going to compromise a bit on the stability if you want spin. Rackets like the Speed MP and Boom Mp for example fall in the same category as the Vcore but the weight is still low. Therefore the stability is also not the greatest. A more stable Ezone 98 is a good racket but the spin is compromised.
I’m considering clash 100 vs head speed mp or blade 100. I play tennis the last year 4-5 times per week. What do u suggest. I can demo only the 2 Wilson’s here in Greece

They're very very similar. Though to me it seemed like the new one is a bit more spinny.

Well, Adrenaline is more economic therefore more convenient for our use.

That's a hard one. I'd probably go for the Speed MP. Though after trying the Clash with lead this might change a lot.
