I had a similar issue with my M3 where my hawk mounts would not sit straight once I tightened them up only very slight but I could see it so I got the FX mounts and that fixed it.
Hey, check out the bolt that holds on the trigger guard. The have a socket head over a tapered hole on the guard. That should be a flat head . Also the two screws towards the front holding on the stock are pretty short. Not mush threads there holding on the stock. Pretty sloppy and lazy if you ask me. I ended up changing those and used washers for the front screws. High dollar slapped together.
So glad you pointed out the problem with the rail. I have an IR scope that I like to change out onto several different rifles from .243, 22.250,.22lr and air rifle this discrepancy in the picatinny rail has put me right off.
I had a look at a left handed sub12 at SGC Exeter. I wanted to see how it felt before ordering a FAC version….. Wow! For a 3.45kg gun it shoulders superbly and the balance is sublime. In no way does it feel that heavy. Shame the cocking lever isn’t still on the right hand side (which I prefer) but that’s not really a gripe! Very impressive and I’m looking forward to seeing what the FAC can do.
Hi Rack, Just about to place my order for a King FAC in .22 and have also settled on the Sumo mod. Can you tell me, is the thread a std 1/2” unf or will I need an adapter? If so, which one? Great review as ever.
Can we in Indonesia promote the unit you showed on UA-cam? We are very happy to see it and we want to try it. Can you please send us a pilot unit to broadcast it in Indonesia or to our friends in our club who like it so much

Answer to the scope issue: Immersive Optics 14x50 . I've ended up with 3.
I’m buying this with the m3 with accessories next month. Thank you for the review
Your eye relief would increase heaps if you extend the but.

Cheers mate! 😄
I notice the cocking arm touches the laminate when pulling the lever back. Happens on mine too.
I hear a new, FX Impact M4 and Dynamic/King V2 is going to be released soon.
Me is also waiting for that. And hope that is will have some much needed upgrades. Those FX are a bit to expensive to not be topnotch.
I avoid picatinny rails and mounts on air rifles because no one is working to standard.
Maybe worth looking at some eagle vision mounts they do adjustable mounts both in reach forward and standard one peace
eaglevision mounts every time, sub 12 and FAC
They probably bought the rail cheap from Turkey or China.. not checked properly :(
The rail is not a lose part. It’s part of the block I think. FX machine the block in house
The products I ordered from Turkey were of very high quality. This must be a manufacturing defect of FX or as you said, it is made in China.

🤣
Us also in Newcastle
You need the eaglevision forward reach mounts way better than those what I've got on my king.
They are worse than BSA for strange mounting.
Great Stuff Neil 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
What twist rate has the .22 600mm
Cheers For The Review 👍👍
A Pantera in a different stock..
Very good guns admittedly. Overpriced overrated and overcomplicated. In my opinion.
Ffs Rack, I'm trying to save money and stick to full bore.....Nice bit of kit
"reach forward mounts" Neil😉
I know yeah, but you shouldn't have to really...
Probably do you have to buy a fx mount !
650 FPS??? is this a blowgun??? This rifle can shoot easily 1250 FPS out of the box. This is a very expensive air rifle to buy the non FAC version.
It's a sub 12 as stated buddy....
Case is also cheap and flimsy.
Cantilever mounts 😊
