I know a lot of you have questions. I’m seeing your comments asking about nudity, the shower scene, the opening 10 minutes, and if kids get unalived. Most of these answers are spoilery so out of respect to the filmmakers, I won’t answer those in the comments. I do appreciate your views and comments but I’m a fan of these movies too and it wouldn’t be right to share those on here. I did see a Reddit post that does have accurate details that answers those so if you must know…
I totally respect that perspective. For the record, I did see Terrifier 2 in theaters and bought it digitally, so I am supporting the director's craft. I just asked about the shower scene because if it's worse than the bedroom scene in the sequel, I want to mentally prepare for that lol
@laserdisc688 One reaction video reviewer said he felt that there were at least 2 to 3 scenes that topped the bedroom scene. He said that was his perspective. Someone obviously might feel different.
Why I like the Terrorfier movies is because I usually prefer plot heavy and character driven movies but sometimes all there needs to be it light lore and heavy violence and Terrorfier checks off both if those for me
Exactly. I was in a phase of my life where... and I know this sounds weird... but I'd only watch movies that had the highest Rotten Tomatoes and/or Meteoritic score. Now that I'm older, and I can form my own opinion and what type of art I like, the films critics praised I didn't think were that great, like Maxxxine or Alien: Romulus. The Substance and Longlegs, imo, were films where the critics "got it" (also including Terrifier 2).
If Wes Craven and David Cronenberg made a movie about Horror creator making a movie with movie in it? It would be Damien Leone and Terrifier movies. Especially 3. Damien is the Future.
Man, you hit it dead on with the point of… at that particular point of the movie after she was sleeping, it was hard to tell if it was a dream sequence or not. I was not fully convinced I knew until it was beyond the point of where it was obvious!
Yeah, I don’t get it. In the second one, we clearly understood the Clown Cafe was a dream sequence…what happened here? Plus it just abruptly puts us at the final scene, no build up, no watching Art and Vicky go there or set everything and everyone up for when Sienna arrives.
One of my favorite things about the first 2 movies is the color grading and how they look like they were shot on something like a VX style camera almost. It's charming and it brings bavk almost an old school feel with more modernized practical effects. Right up my ally. I am so excited for Oct 11th!
funny enough about Clint Howard being in this, David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown) played The Grinch in 2022's The Mean One & Clint Howard was in the 2000 How the Grinch Stole Christmas film

@@Cinefanatics it was everything I could ask for as a terrifier fan for sure! I definitely think it blew the second one out of the water when comparing the brutality of the entire movie. There was barely any relief for the viewer for the entire 2 hours and 5 mins. I was pretty speechless by the end of the movie!
Can someone spoil the shower scene for me? The only scene that made me squirm in both of these movies was the bedroom scene. If that was uncomfortable to watch, could I handle Terrifier 3?
The most I will say is it is slightly different depending on you. I was okay with the bedroom scene but the shower scene had me, a dude specifically, wincing just a bit.
@@Cinefanatics Got it; thank you for your quick reply. I just got back from seeing The Substance, and I'd argue that's even gorier than Terrifier 2, so I feel prepared to watch this lol I just hope Terrifier 3 is as good as the second one. I've been trying to watch as many T3 reaction videos since it premiered at Fantastic Fest. I have to say, based on one of the reviews, I think he did kill a child. The reviewer didn't actually say this, but the person did say boundaries were crossed, and indicated that Damien did a tasteful job at this. They added there were some things seen and some things implied in this moment. He added that Terrifier might lose a few people over this. With all this said, I feel like the viewer was alluding to a child's death.
Pretty sure there is but it seems like it’s done in a semi-cautious way, rather than blatant gratuity. Hard to say for sure; since I haven’t seen it myself.
@cmillspa1 In the reaction video I saw, the reviewer applauded Damien's approach to what might be a child's death. He felt David was careful and didn't go to the extreme as he did with other kills.
Spoiler : Many people who saw the movie on fantastic fest confirmed art kills like 5 kids onscreen. It's in the mall scene, where he gives a present to a boy, and he opens it, there's a bomb inside, he blows up, along with some other kids.
Great review! I’ve watched Terrifier 1 and 2 with my teenage daughter, we’ve had so much fun watching them. If I may ask, during the shower scene, is the nudity/ sexual imagery pretty mild or would you say it’s pretty explicit? Would love to know before watching it with my 14 year old lol.
They ruined this movie. 1. Vicky upstaged Art, which is ridiculous 2. Art was trying too hard to be funny. That whole mysterious scary goofy persona was lost in this. His obscure personality is lost, now making art less mystical 3. The kills were no way near the bedroom kill in number 2 4. The only good thing about this movie was Laura LeVeras acting. 5. The film has now just become a silly clown killing people. 6. Film is way too long for the lack of law revealed 7. The gore was more realistic when they had a lower budget, the special effects made the gore silly. It just came across as though they were trying too hard
I made it through the Saw franchise (personal favorite) which in my opinion is about on par with the gore of Terrifier. I thought Terrifier 2 wasn't as bad as I was expecting so I got through that movie pretty easily. Also made it through two and around half of The Human Centipede movies so I think I'll be able to handle this movie fairly easily.
Yeah, you should be able to. I love the Saw franchise as well and I’m exactly the same on the Human Centipedes. That third was was too slow paced and dumb for me to get more than halfway through. 🤣
