No not safe. We got 4 drakes by mistake so have to isolate them during spring and summer or else they injure the ladies by biting their necks during sex. You need ducky prison - A section of netting in your coop with their own water and rations. The alternative is duck dinners for you...
@@HuzaifaKHAN-gl7zy what's your duck breed.. mine was Rouen duck and after some research i got to know that rouen ducks are not good egg layers... but now we got some silver appleyard ducks breed and they are producing prolific amount of eggs .. around 250 per year ... u just have to maintain their diet .... so it's really important to know your duck breed and and maintaining their nutrition requirements.

You mentioned keeping ducks in a coop. My ducks resisted being put in the coop, and kept staying outside on purpose. Is this normal? If they don't want to be in the coop it seems like its a waste of time. This was the case with them not wanting to be in it, even when cold or rainy. And...it sounded like you were saying you'd get more eggs feeding in the evening, compared to morning?
maybe something is wrong with the coop, maybe they don't like it? too dark? too small or maybe not enough ventilation, maybe floor feels bad idk many reasons can cause this.
