If you cant handle a play style’s inherent risks then you should be willing to change. being in a 30 man zerg is a playstyle that REQUIRES the ability to know whos who. this isn’t dayz console, if you can get close enough to stick a db in their face you should be able to tell wether or not their a teammate without the green dot. have a written list of every name on the team, and when in doubt, shoot. worst case scenario is that its friendly fire and someone gets locked out of the base for a day until someone can vouch for them and the person vouching for the person who vouches until you have the majority of the team in agreement. If you cant handle that risk then divide the team into two compounds that cooperate, and those compounds would be made up of alliances of teams of 1-5. In rust, if a complete stranger can take something uncontested then its theirs by all rights. If you hot mic the base codes then thats on you. Theres a difference between accepting someone onto the team and trusting them with the codes and over hearing the codes.
