I was worried when TFB signed with Fueled By Ramen that they'd change to mainstream, poppy music... But this is still genuine The Front Bottoms and I love it so much. Their music will never get old to me.
Justin Portillo it changed but you can still tell that it's still the front bottoms, it's a personal growth, not a growth to conform to poppy music I love it

I think it is over produced but it isn't bad
I miss the old production style they had in grandma vs pneumonia and earlier albums but the new production is inevitable as the band grows and has more resources at their disposal and I still love it.

Awesome video guys. Really liked that whole angle of the guy walking around all happy in the business suit, while his internal struggle is shown through the hospital gown. I feel that way a lot after college. Even if you have successful job, a girlfriend, friends, and family that you love, a hobby and seem happy to everyone else, it's not always what it seems. Can't wait for the album.
I love it when songs add small details into their lyrics, like in the "I have nothing in my pockets/I still have the bracelet on"

Fueled by Ramen introduced me to the best bands ever
I've been listening since August of 2014 and I am so proud of TFB. An ex boyfriend introduced me to the Strokes, Weezer, Brand New, Modern Baseball, and The Front Bottoms. (I listened to "emo" stuff) and even though things went terrible I'm glad he introduced me to good music. I still listen to all my other bands but TFB has a soft spot because of all the memories they hold with me. Flashlight was the first song I heard and I was in love with them. Im so excited for this new album.
Tfb are my main loves but to hear them in the same list of bands as Weezer is pp great. Nobody seems to know Weezer nowadays it's disappointing lmao

jennyeet I miss their older sound, I enjoy their new sound very much, but prefer the weirder stuff like silver shinebone and supply of power, a lot of their really early stuff. Not to mention the older music videos like backflip and flashlight which are still my all time favorites.

hi there ik nearly nobody will see this but i just wanted to say that i got out of the hospital today and seeing this is as one of the first things im seeing upon getting out is amazing. tfb have helped me through awful times for years and even though shit got pretty bad im so happy knowing that im recovering and they're FINALLY gonna be putting out new music! just yeah it all means a lot to me aha

This song is a goddamn masterpiece in my opinion. First of all, the melody and instruments are very beautiful and unique. And there's some quirky lyrics which take me back to their older songs. I listened to this while going on a peaceful walk today and I just looked up at the sky and felt genuinely happy about living. Listening to this also made me realize that summer is ending. And this is my last summer as a high schooler so this song is helping me through. I'm welcoming September with open arms.
