This is “sew” exciting, Kathy! I know you’ve poured your heart and soul, along with years of experience, into this! I can only imagine how complete it is! And your pricing is fabulous! Very smart. I’ve been wondering what you’ve been up to! Now I know!
My daughter is 5 and loves to “sew” (sit in my lap while I let her guide scraps to fabric through the machine. When she’s old enough I plan on getting this for her!
This looks like a great resource. Over the years I’ve taught several boys including 2 brothers, who were very excited to learn to sew. Please consider renaming it “Teaching Kids to Sew”.
Thank you for your suggestions. I'm also in favor of boys learning to sew, however, as stated in the video, this was created for my granddaughters. Renaming it as Teaching Kids To Sew would be rather deceptive and I'd have disgruntled customers when they discovered that one of the projects is a twirly skirt! Some of the most talented designers that I know are men! If I decide to spend the hours recreating the curriculum to make it unisex, then I could do that. However, right now, with the skirt in the lesson plans, it will stay a course for girls. Perhaps when my grandson wants to learn sewing, I'll work on it again and make it a unisex course.

This is awesome. I have two grandchildren right now that this can help me teach them.
So exciting!

Hello Kathy, I just purchase your pattern, Suzette, since it is my first time smocking, it would be nice to make a tutorial with the pattern. Thanks!
Kathy can you do a video on how to match fabrics, contrasting? Plz
I do have a video on the creative process, which includes auditioning fabric choices. :) Perhaps that will help.
