    I hate to think how much beeswax I have wasted cause I didn’t know you could do this. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m going to try this.

    Thank you! I have some friends that were just throwing away their beeswax. I almost jumped with joy when they gave it to me instead. I believe I need to go to the Goodwill store before I get started. It smells so good though, I love the smell of beeswax.

    Great video! Just wondering why you don't pour the melted mix of water, wax and other stuff through a large strainer, and be left with brood, wax moth etc in the strainer and water and wax in the container below? Would that be feasible do you think? Seems like it would take a lot less time than trying to strain out from the pot by hand, and have tonstrain again the following day?

    Hello Jackie. Or anyone! I have received another source of beeswax and I have melted and cleaned it twice then melted and strained it 3 more times. It is still looking like half and half. Half of it is the beautiful yellow color of beeswax and the bottom half looks kind of milky gray. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I wish I could post a picture to show you all. Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer.

    Use an oil splatter screen to filter your wax.

    I was gonna ask you what you did with the beeswax, --- or even if it wasn't any of my beeswax lol.
    Then at the end you said you'd tell us in upcoming videos.
    Your just like old Hollywood producers, giving us a cliff hanger, then disappearing a while as we all wonder how the story ends.
    I used to have 2 hives but I had a guy who owned an extractor come get my full frames and do all the work. All I got was yummy honey.
    I have no idea what he did with the wax.

      😂 you’re too funny Stan! Now you have to wait for the sequel😉. Sounds like a good honey arrangement for sure. Hope you are healing well. God bless you brother❤️

    What if my wax has a lot of honey residue? How do I remove that or will it separate?

    • @LittleCountryCabin
      @LittleCountryCabin  5 місяців тому

      Great question! You could put it outside and the bees will come clean it for you. Otherwise you can render it as shown in the video and the honey residue will dissolve in the water and be eliminated when you pour the water off. Thank you for the great feedback and have a blessed week❤️
