I put super fine mesh filters for the coolant in my trucks years ago. They kept plugging with slimy fiber stuff, so I took them out. Love me an oil filter cup.
@@2LateIWon Thanks for the shout out. I find different aviation snips work better than others. The hardest part is starting but it shouldn't be that difficult too cut.

I heard that the sand is left over from the casting of the block and factory just cannot remove.
