Dang instructions. Setting the time was a puzzle because I did not understand that holding down the time set button until you reached your time was how it was done. Ditto what P MB said; your video, after watching 3 others, was clear and got the job done. Thank you!!

Thanks Travis down in Tennessee. I had to watch 3 videos until yours, to clarify time set-up and DST; others blew right threw time set-up. I ordered 3x clocks so it was important for proper procedure. Thanks!
Thank you for this, it's so hard to find the basic info of how to set the alarm on Amazon, and that's the biggest factor in deciding whether to buy it.
One more comment, rather question. Do you have a video about that clock's backup battery? I am asking because I assumed - not smart - when the clock was unplugged and plugged back in the time would come back. I found you have to reset it. So I guess if the power goes off the battery keeps the Sony working??? Not clear. Thanks for your speedy reply. Much appreciated.
The 1 i' have is DigitaL radio, & its for Listening 4 Nature Sounds & The Time@ CeiLing, its a Pain, Needs a CoupLe more Buttons to be a Condusive CompLete 😅Functioneer.
Can you explain what the backup battery is for? I figured if the power went out the clock's battery would take over. Nope. Clock blinked 12:00. Thank you again.
@@joannesmith7987 make sure they didn't put a plastic strip in front of the battery that needs to be removed. Sometimes they do that on new electronics.
We bought this piece of crap 5 years ago (in white). After struggling literally for hours we threw it into a drawer and forgot about it. We dug it out and gave it to 2 UNCW Nursing students who rent one of our houses.;. A week later they thanked us and said "impossible to set." We have recently watched your video but it's just too much work to get the damn thing to tell time and wake you up.

Your battery may be dead. It should hold correct time during power failure.
