NalSarovar Lake| India's Biggest Bird sanctuary

Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary, Is again a very awesome place to interact with Mother Nature and the beautiful migrating birds come from all around the world.
In April 1969 it was announced as a Bird Sanctuary.
It is all around 120 square-kilometer lake and ambient marshes spread all over,
It is located almost about 74 km to the west of Ahmadabad near Sanand Village in Gujarat,
Mostly inhabited by migratory birds in winter season (November-February), you can also catch them all in Spring as well, but I would suggest to visit the place during January, so that You can have a new weekend tourist spot on your bucket list on the beginning of the New year.
You will get Parking and Toilet facility there at the entrance of the Lake.
Vehicles are available from parking to the lake site which is approx 1 km. There is a Entry fee and extra for boating in the lake.
Visiting Hours: 6AM-5:30PM (Best to reach there just before Sun rise)
Entry Fee: 500/- (If you have your own vehicle which will include your individual ticket and the car parking)
Camera charges: 200/-
Boating cost: Varies from 6000/- to 1500/- (Now all here depends on your negotiation skills with the local boatmen), though prescribed rates are mentioned at the gate.
If you plan to rent a personal boat with the basic package then that will cost you 1,500/-
If you wish to go for the full package then that will cost you 6,000/- (I personally would not suggest you with this package unless you are going for a photo shoot kind of stuff)
Piece of Advice:
Please carry cash with you as you might not find and ATM nearby and the closest ATM is about 22 Km from the lake ( which is also not filled with cash most of the time).
Better to get cash while you start your journey and also get some snakes along with you as you will also not find any big snacks stores nearby.
