I used only the top bond and it still held it without any trace of damage. Again it depends on how you mix it,don't add too much water else it won't stay for long.. Starch makes it extra strong like too strong

how many grams of glue did you use?
I used 300g for the 1 roll on management so I would advise you go for 500g or 1kg,it will be enough for you.

Depending on the size of the room but from 4rolls and above

Yes it is TOP Bond but buy the bigger one,the one I bought was not enough for 1 roll
