Fun fact: My mom is a elementary school teacher and she used to work at a school that I went to for 2nd - 3rd grade (good years man, good years) she started working there 3 years before me and 2 weeks after she got hired to be a reading specialist on the announcements or intercom or whatever it said “There is a Lockdown.” and after that she heard glass breaking and she started hiding. She remembered seeing a bunch of people running and remembered seeing someone get shot.
Dang, same thing happened to me but It was with my dad, he used to be my maths teacher until the highschool shootout (5 Attackers), where I was hiding with my dad and we heard a guy get shot in the hallway next to us, we managed to hide in a nearby hidden classroom next to the corner of the highschool, and sprinted to the end of the hallway where there was one of the 2 exit doors still open.
We managed to escape safely, but sadly a few students went to the hospital, the school was burnt and destroyed and we had to move to another highschool. (But dont worry, I got to a new highschool with some of my old friends, and my dad got a job there! Still though, I will never forget this..)
Just to clarify! I never worked there except I meant to say I went there for 2 and 3rd grade

this happened during the summer of last year I was with my friends Ari,Jay,joshlyn we been friends since 2 grade we decided to have a sleepover because it was summer and her family was on vacation like any friends would do we bought snacks and grab blankets we had it at jay house when we got there we went to his room and starting to watch a movie we watched a lot of fast and furious after we got done with fast 6 I went to the bathroom to take a piss when I left the bathroom I tried going down stairs but as I got close in notice that the downstairs door was in the reflection of the mirror I froze and thought the worst I snapped outta of it and went up stairs to jay room and I told everyone what happened even said I was just trying to scared them but then we heard footsteps and all there faces went blank everyone knew I was lying anymore we locked the door and grab anything we can use as a weapon 10 mins passed by but it felt like hours of just waited but then someone thing happened that still haunts me !!BANG BANG BANG!!
One of the robbers was banging on the door and then he said aye there’s someone in here then Ari said let’s go through the window there was a pool to break our fall we all jumped landed in the pool and ran to the neighbor house they called the police luckily the robbers we’re still there
we all got picked by our parents jay went with me because his parents was still 10 hours away but before we left a cop told us something that we still think about after we jumped the door that was lock had been unlocked that means the men that broke got in after we jumped but we still think what would’ve happened if we didn’t jump…

The intruder probably didn't take him as a threat once he made it clear he didn't know who was in the stall and therefore he wouldn't be able to snitch if he thought it was a normal student. If he were to run out unexpected the intruder might have attacked

My lockdown story: I was in elementary school and we were kinda of just just chilling. I sat next to my best friend Luna. Luna was a quiet person and was scared to ask for anything so I was that person who’d ask for her. She whispered that she had to use the restroom and I ask our teacher if she could go. She said yes and before Luna left she handed me her jacket. After a few minutes we heard the lock down drill announcement. You have to understand my family was flat out broke with a few dollars to their name so the school I went to wasnt well built or greatly functional. The schools speakers only worked in classrooms and the 2nd grade hallway, We were in the kindergarten hallway. Some of the classrooms didn’t have doors but curtains. Luckily ours was one of the lucky ones that had a door. We all huddled into the corner of the room. Immediately I thought of Luna and the fact that she wouldn’t have any idea of what was going on. I told my teacher to which she said “She had to go if she dies then sorry”. That fricken pissed me off how she was just to let her die for the schools negligence. I tried getting up to run out the door to find Luna but my teacher held me down and told other students to help keep me quiet and sitting down. We started hearing gunshots and at that point I went into panic mode, I started kicking and smacking for them to let me find Luna. This went on for a few minutes before I heard the most terrifing thing I had ever heard in my life. I heard a girl scream followed by a single gunshot. My eyes were nothing but water and I was screaming “LUNA” non stop. The students holding me down let go and started crying out of shocked but the teacher just froze. About 45 second later we heard gunshots and yelling. The police station was about 15 minutes away from our school so i guessed it was them. The lock down was lifted and as soon as the teacher let me go I bursted our the rooms and around the halls looking for Luna or any cops who could tell me if they found her. I ran to the office and saw ambulances. When I saw a stretcher with my best friend on it I immediately ran up and started kicking and pushing the ambulance staff. I was like 5 so I didn’t know they were trying to help, one of the ladies from the ambulance hugged me and picked me up to see my best friend. Her eyes were hardly opened and my face was nothing but tears and snot. Luna and more than 5 other kids were killed that day but the person was never caught or identified. Other kids blamed me for her death saying i was the reason she died because I asked for her to use the restroom, her parents were no exception. To this day I still have the sweater she handed me before she left. I still remember the sound of her scream and the way she looked into my eyes before she passed. I was only five years old when this happened And if ever given the chance I’d rip the intruder limb from limb. Thank you for listening to my story.
(Luna’s name wasn’t actually Luna, I called her Luna because she wanted to be the first child on the moon. And since “Luna” is another word for “moon” that’s what I called her. I remember me saying her real name was to long to remember and her agreeing. That’s one of my few memories of her)

We had a lockdown at my school in the 7th grade. My grandpa was taking me to school because my mom was ill and my dad had to work early, when we got there, a swarm of police officers were looking around and escorting us inside. We later found out that an insane man had threatened to destroy 5 schools including the local elementary school. He was later arrested in a nearby town outside of one of the schools he threatened. On his person officers found 5 handguns and 2 knives, along with an assault rifle in his car. The only thing that confused me was that instead of the staff and police officers taking to our classrooms, they made us wait in the wide open cafeteria which was largely exposed to the outside. Many people said that they say had seen someone stalking us from outside. The man that they caught later said that there was multiple other people who were going to fulfill their despicable plan, the man said that the person he sent to my school was a child predator and murderer who was recently released from prison. My school and the other schools were not invaded by the intruders, and no one was harmed.

Imagine this so starting exactly like the first story you go to the bathroom not to ditch school, but you have to take a shit, however right then and there the lockdown alarm goes off, there’s nobody talking on the intercom which leads you to believe it’s real, your heart is pounding but you had your phone with you, you turn off notifications and have your phone at the lowest brightness, you message your friend and get really worried about if it was real or not, right when your friend responds you hear loud ass screaming, this scares you and it gets louder and louder, which means he’s getting closer, then you hear doors getting unlocked and desk falling down from the sheer power knocking down barricades, then you hear shooting, then the shooter goes to the other rooms and checks the janitor room, and the other bathroom in the school, then you hear the bathroom’s door (the one that you’re in) open. You message your mom and tell her you’re scared and that you love her, then the door bust open you have your legs on top of the toilet and you’re crouched and almost not visible from the bottom, but you’re from the top, then you hear footsteps and you are terrified then the footsteps are right there and make a dead stop, luckily most of the stalls were locked, including yours, which causes the man to shake them and try to open them, then out of no where he goes to yours, try’s to open it, but is unsuccessful, then he starts peeking over yours. You think he’d be too short to see, but you look up and see a tall lanky man standing above you staring down at you, and then it’s over

The only thing I learned from my 5th grade math teacher is how to properly belt the door hinge (the thing on the top of the door frame) and how to barricade the door with tables and chairs. He was the only teacher that taught us how to do these things. I even joke that we should make them more serious. But its still scary to think about
