Ive been watching your channel for years, since 2014-2015 or so. Most people start getting bland as their channel ages. Yours continuously gets more brilliant. Honestly, I don't even have words to describe how beautiful your cinematography and story telling is. It's the standard that all others should strive for. Thank you, as always, for what you do.
You know when a filmmaker has succeeded in producing a story when the viewer is literally taken away to the place they’re watching, simply stunning work yet again Andrew & Gwen!
I'm with you on caravan parks ,although I'm at a age that I could be classed as a grey nomad give me the bush anytime . Now we people from regional Victoria can get away we are off on Sunday to the Mallie country by the mighty Murray river . I've been in lockdown since February due to chemo treatment so you can imagine how excited we are to be loading up the caravan (off road one ) and listening to the birds singing and the water rippling by our doorstep . You two take care stay safe and keep enjoying the great outdoors. Regards Mal , Ellen
I grew up in the Pilbara and have traveled all over Australia but i still keep coming back to the harsh brown and red landscape, it is so peaceful and majestic and so good for the soul to spend time just chilling at a good camp site!!!!! your photography and videos are excellent keep up the good work !!!!!
I'm sorry to admit that my wife and I often camp in trailer parks in our Airstream. Fortunately, the U.S. is blessed with many many camp grounds where we can pull in and camp a night or two with or without hook ups. I may be able and willing to add something to Andrew's fine films. I spent a long time "camping" with the military in foreign lands (Vietnam, for example), where camping meant rolling one's self in a shelter half or poncho, thus an certain unwillingness to rough it now. So, Andrew, give we who have been there and done that a break. I love your films.
Just more really high quality footage of real people who like each other doing real things they love. Thank you. Plus, some more new musicians I had not encountered - thank you.
Sorry to inform you that the caravan park at Point Samson has always been outrageously expensive. In 2012 my parents were doing a big lap, staying in an onsite cabin at Point Samson. The same night I was in Las Vegas. My very large suite at a hotel on the strip was $100 a night cheaper than a cabin at Point Samson...which was $240 for one night!
I'm so glad Gwen has tagged along as her idea with the bean bag oven is sensational. I need to know where to get one ! Andrew your photography is second to none and we certainly are a lucky state to be able to escape with the disease crippling the world. Keep safe you 2 and hopefully we may meet in our backyard some time .
You camp at my pace. I like to rest and relax at my age and stay longer. A bad campsite in my opinion is better than paying especially with your setup. Thank you both, the entertainment is humorous. 👍🏼
Another awesome video...see you still love the windmills, following you all the way from your previous home town, Cape town South Africa All the best and keep up the great work.
Absolutely beautiful, I’m with you guys CP good for a good wash off of dirt and fill the tanks etc and I’m off to the bush, can’t wait to return to our favourite places of WA again.
What a great video and the end track was beautiful. Watching this content makes me desperate for our project to be finished, its absolute torture feeling trapped and waiting.
Welcome to my backyard. Cane River is a stones through from home. Simply magic place to live, bloody hot in the summertime, hey, that's life. Enjoy your stay
Good evening Andrew. Just watched this episode and I will definitely buying some of your prints for our new coastal home. Love the channel & all its content. Please please please keep it up.
Mr. and Mrs. White. Thank you. You’re determinate consistency is enlightening and motivating. The product of your work is superb. I’ve recently begun perusing your earlier work and the clarity with which you instruct is praise worthy. I would to be as professional as you good sir. May God pass our paths one day through His providence.
Absolutely wonderful your trip. I love your photography, humor and great personality to move us to that magnificent destination. The car and the food you cook cause me to want to accompany you. Greetings from Costa Rica.
People after our own hearts. So refreshing to watch real, sensible people. Also, love the interplay of UK/Afrikaan. Last time I asked "what's the damage" the guy took it literally so I had to explain the damage to my wallet ! $180 for a bloody cabin is simply outrageous, we paid $30 for a site at Undarra LavaTubes in QLD last year, good value plus an excellent restaurant. Grey nomads are a curse, see a report on Pat Callinan 4x4 website about what camp site managers have to put up with. We avoid them like the plague, even though we are old farts who have fortunately had the opportunity to go wadi bashing in our V8 Disco in the Middle East etc. Now we have a TDi over 23 years old & still going strong with a bog standard camper trailer, not one of those "gin palaces" nomads use. Longreach camp site was like an airport car park, complete with incoming ! One point about magnetic rocks/stones. They could be the remains of a meteorite strewn area, maybe worth picking up some larger pieces & getting them checked. Always wondered what a Patreon was, maybe a new Defender model, so, now will give it some serious consideration. All the best from QLD
Andrew you're wife is a hoot! (warning i am from Texas). You sir are an acquired taste, that is a complement, unique and gracious with your time and efforts.. Thank you! Steven
Hard to imagine but we used to swim in the fortescue river right at the bridge where you were when we were staying at the mining camp just behind the servo, we were working on the dampier to bunbury gas pipeline.
PSI is common in the UK too, whereas lengths and weights are typically metric and distance in imperial... it works and is handy to be able to work in both
Canada is also a metric country forced into still using the Imperial system of measure (we have our imperial US neighbours to thank for that). If you ask a Canadian how much they weigh they'll likely tell you in pounds. If you head to the servo fuel is sold in litres. If you ask how far away something is they'll probably tell you how long it'll take to drive there not the distance in kilometers.
Thanks for the tip Andrew, a huge print of First life Africa is on its way to Norway. It will be my first piece of art on the walls of our 200-year old new home. Hopefully not my last piece from you.
I like the ideal of the beanbag to keep th potatoes hot. If anyone is interested, it is called a Wonder Bag. Thank you to your wife for showing me something new. I am a sewer and now can look for a pattern to make this.
Love your content mate! Just one thing, I find sometimes in your videos your audio goes quiet to loud and vica versa, which means im often turning the volume up/down. I've discussed this with mates who watch your videos also.
Continuing to love your content Andrew. I will make the point though that you've just got to cultivate a circle of contacts (shouldn't be hard for you) that own property/are local and you'll get all the remote camping you want. Failing that, get off the main roads more and get away from any major population centre. Your Trans-Australian trip in the Troopy highlighted to me (especially your dismissal of NSW) that you mustn't do this as much as you think, as you can find plenty of travelling stock route, public and crown reserves and lovely little isolated campsites once you get off the main road. Local knowledge is your friend! Come back to NSW once the COVID hype is exploded and I'll show you some beautiful remote camping. Keep up the amazing work and looking forward to hearing more about the Aussie Dream Tourer!
The caravan park! Agreed, not our favorite place to be either and would much rather be at home. Although, they do have there place when you are very tired and finding somewhere is troublesome!.
Superb photography, my best wishes for your new project, thank you for sharing. Regarding the caravan park, I would charge them $180 to stop in a "The Lux" shantytown. Look it on the bright side, just imagine if 50% of those people have a 4WD vehicle/ camper and go to the same places that you are going now.
Funny in Scuba 🤿 diving we use Bar instead of PSI ... but I do tyres in PSI ... same as wind speed on the water we use knots, how fast we travel on the water is in knots and distance as well .. but on land it’s Km
One thing that struck me about Aus, despite being such a fire conscious nation they will quite happily camp on each other's doorstep with barely enough room to walk between camps.... here in the UK we have to have 22ft between caravans/motorhomes to reduce the risk of fire spreading.
I understand the grey nomad thing for people who aren’t really into camping they can travel the country while still maintaining the creature comforts of home. Showers, toilets etc at caravan parks. By the time I’m 70 I probably won’t want to be digging a hole in the bush anymore either haha or going several days with only a beach or river shower.
I feel for you in the trailer park. We took a nine day trip to the California coastal redwoods this year and stayed in campgrounds, and by the end of it we were sick to death of rude people.
Very often which units you use depends on your surrounding. I live in Austria, which is predominantly metric except for tube and hose diameters. But being a Land Rover driver for more than thirty years and as I,ve developed a connections to the offroad scene in the UK I'm always using PSI rather than hPa or Bar. It's just a question of habits that are difficult to abandon. As long as the gauges show both units there's no problem.

You two are wonderful together! Hilarious ,loving, kind and free to be yourselves with each other. God bless!

The shot of you two sat on the chalet veranda with a woman cackling in the background compared with the serenity and beauty of the bush spoke volumes.
Thanks guys. I really enjoyed kicking back and watching your story. We look forward to doing similar down the track
Sooo nice to see you camping without a schedule or deadline ❤️
Love the time lapse night sky scene at the end there.

Fantastic story telling and imagery. Perfect for all folks who love the outdoors 👍🏿❤️
love your work Andrew and Gwynne, you capture the light very well.
Absolutely first class. I forgot about the world for a minute and just let this wash over me. Fabulous!
Just more really high quality footage of real people who like each other doing real things they love. Thank you. Plus, some more new musicians I had not encountered - thank you.

It's called a Wonderbag..... Should find it via Google
Oh mannn, amazing content, music , shots and photography.. absolutely loving it
Seeing photos remind me to put life first and take the photo myself. Your movie making is top shelf.
Lovely ending Andrew. You are fortunate to have such an amazing wife / travel partner / adventure mate. More Gwynn please!
Something good to watch tonight!!!
Some of the footage is world class.
That milky way time lapse was absolutely stunning.
You camp at my pace. I like to rest and relax at my age and stay longer. A bad campsite in my opinion is better than paying especially with your setup. Thank you both, the entertainment is humorous. 👍🏼
That whole segment at around 20:00 . Epic!
Absolutely stunning. I couldn't get enough of it
Can't get over the beautiful night sky video you have at the end. amazing!! That is an experience I would LOVE to have. Thank you for sharing.
Oh my God Adrew.... those are fantastic!
You really knocked it out of the park with the images at the campsite amazing stuff mate!
Love it, love it, love it! You are an amazing couple and an incredible film maker. Beautiful shots.
Another awesome video...see you still love the windmills, following you all the way from your previous home town, Cape town South Africa
All the best and keep up the great work.
Thank you for the long exposure of the Southern night sky and Milkyway.
Watched the video with my morning coffee. Perfect start to the day. Awesome footage! Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful, I’m with you guys CP good for a good wash off of dirt and fill the tanks etc and I’m off to the bush, can’t wait to return to our favourite places of WA again.

Bush camping all the way. Keep up the good work guys.
Hi Andrew. Love from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
What a great video and the end track was beautiful. Watching this content makes me desperate for our project to be finished, its absolute torture feeling trapped and waiting.

I just love watching this

Hi Andrew, I'll be brief...
Stunning!
Thank you for sharing it with us.
👏👏👏👏👏
Loving these videos, getting better and better.....
A lot of wild flowers about, beautiful.
Andrew you're wife is a hoot! (warning i am from Texas). You sir are an acquired taste, that is a complement, unique and gracious with your time and efforts.. Thank you! Steven
Outstanding!!
Love that artwork mate 👌🏼👌🏼
Hard to imagine but we used to swim in the fortescue river right at the bridge where you were when we were staying at the mining camp just behind the servo, we were working on the dampier to bunbury gas pipeline.
I love using the Wonderbag, prefer it to a slow cooker.
PSI is common in the UK too, whereas lengths and weights are typically metric and distance in imperial... it works and is handy to be able to work in both
Your 'Seek Shade from the Stars" is phenomenal. I will be purchasing one.
One of my very favourites!

enjoy your travels, now gwenyn is with you , like to someday do this trip , canning stock route and the great aus blight trip in a trophy or lc80
I like the ideal of the beanbag to keep th potatoes hot. If anyone is interested, it is called a Wonder Bag. Thank you to your wife for showing me something new. I am a sewer and now can look for a pattern to make this.
Have you ever heard of Canada? We use psi and imperial for everything lol. Aside from speed on the highway lol.
Love your content mate!
Just one thing, I find sometimes in your videos your audio goes quiet to loud and vica versa, which means im often turning the volume up/down. I've discussed this with mates who watch your videos also.
Thank you 😲
Beautiful photography and filming.
So jealous, some years yet to be able to do what you do full time due to work commitments...
Mr APW that was gooood

I know right its not set out like a caravan club site that's for sure
Your potato cooker is a new version of a hay box ,When I was in Boy Scouts we used one to cook stew call a hay box stew basically a slow cooker
there are many camping opportunities along the coast. but yes you gotta know where from locals or hema lists such places.
Andrew, love it mate, fantastic. Who is that song by at the end of this video?
I was looking for a comment like yours.
I feel for you in the trailer park. We took a nine day trip to the California coastal redwoods this year and stayed in campgrounds, and by the end of it we were sick to death of rude people.
John Walker... as Californian I apologize for the treatment you received.
Wow just wow,
seen one fitted with a generator to help charge batteries had a sail on it to help direct it into the wind
what an awesome idea for the potatoes. Where about can you get those bean bags from guys?
love you guys, My idea of camping is seeing no one else for the whole time of the trip, never understood people who go to caravan parks full of people
Exactly.
because many of them buy onroad vans and 2wd vehicles and do blacktop touring with some occasional not too rough dirt. at least they are out there

Go to the Kimberly - The Bungle Bungles and the Mitchell River Plateau.
