Mind the gap ! What is the story about the platform to door gap on the new Stadler trains ? Is there lower support that comes out as the doors open like on the Siemens LRV on the Muni ?
We were very surprised too how large the new trains are, especially when parked next to the current trains.
Is it true that Caltrain isn’t gonna electrify their route from San Jose to Gilroy?
I heard it too that it will continue to be diesel from San Jose to Gilroy.
They can hardly get it to San Jose.. It'd take another decade to reach Gilroy.
