Just got some bill in of this 4oz. Mine was a touch to the dry side but certainly not overly dry. I didn’t notice it being high in nicotine for me. To much nicotine for me can make my heart race a bit not so much in my head. Smooth tobacco, definitely worth keeping some on hand and keeping it in my rotation.
Maple is definitely up front here - A nice aromatic that is topped with an intense Maple flavor. It has a nice room note and is very smokey - It burns consistently with few re-lights. Its an easy smoke that offers a nice aroma and maple taste. I think this has the most intense Maple taste of anything I've smoked. Great tobacco, but only as a now and then smoke because its too candy (ish) for me.
Great review rayRay. This is in my top 5 tobaccos for sure , A maple aromatic flavored blend where the red virginia shines through. Its best sipped slowly. I have a 8oz tin from 2004 and its amazing, a lot darker and actually quite a bit stronger as well.
I have about 4 more ounces deep in the cellar for now, will probably add more before the cool weather sets in as I reach for this a couple times a week during the fall/winter. Good to see ya brother and thanks for watching! Take care!
Good to meet ya. Autumn Evening and Captain Black original are about the only aros I buy anymore. Strauss's Sleepy Hollow too. Unless you wanna count Gawith & Hoggarth Dark Flake Aromatic, which I wouldn't. You can cure any tobacco to Cavendish. Just a process. To my tastes it brings out some fruity and earthy notes. I have a Warped Kings Stride blend that is Cavendish cigar leaf. Extremely earthy. Thanks for the sub BTW. Look forward to more videos from ya. Take care.
Hey Ray. This is one I wanted to like, but I just never got the flavours out of it that everyone else seemed to get. Thanks for your thoughts...maybe it's because I tried it too early in my journey? I'll try it again few years down the road. Have a great weekend!

Great review Ray! I was just gifted a tin of Autumn Evening! I’m even more excited about trying it now👍🏼!
Thanks! I'm sure you will enjoy!

Nice to meet you as well and thank you for the insight! You take care also and keep your content coming :)
I am an Autumn Evening fan. I have moved away from mist aromatics but this one remains in the rotation
It truly is different from the "typical" aromatic in both behavior and feel. Thanks for watching!

It is more of a seasonal type blend for myself, give it some time, it may mellow out a bit. Have a great weekend also!
I’m not big on aros, and this is no exception.
Thanks for your input my friend!
Pure Virginia Cavendish, not burley, good review, just smoke slowly
