# 109 - *Soft Spoken* Ancient Egyptian Massage Relaxation

This is the first in a new series of "Time Travel" relaxation videos I'm planning to produce. Each video will be based on a specific time period, location or events in the past or future, sometimes based on historical facts or sometimes fiction.
In this video, you will experience what it feels like to be an Egyptian pharaoh, the glorious ruler of Ancient Egypt. You will be guided into a relaxed state through various visualisations based on real Egyptian therapies and remedies used back in ancient times.
We will start our journey in the vast deserts of ancient Egypt. You will find your way to your palace, explore ancient paintings on your golden walls, experience a feast watching an Egyptian dancer, bathe in milk and honey while receiving a neck and shoulder massage, finally ending the session hoping to fall asleep while receiving a full back massage using ancient aromatherapy oils.
The main purpose of the visualisation is to make you feel in a totally different era, by describing the surroundings, structures, related objects and customs of the time and it's people. Hope this will relax you by letting you escape the realities of your life and let you experience a unique kind of relaxation as you fall asleep feeling calm, peaceful and reborn.
Some of you requested background music on my relaxation videos, so I wanted to enhance your time travel experience by using Ancient Egyptian Meditation music.

Wow... I miss WhisperCrystal. Even when my head hurts terribly, making other ASMR videos seem abrasive, WhisperCrystal's voice somehow remains soothing and not painful.

You are definitely my favourite whisperer! Your videos are the perfect volume..not too loud, but loud enough that I don't need headphones, which I really like because I'm always afraid that if I fall asleep wearing headphones I'll get tangled in them or something. And their actually long enough for me to fall asleep.
So happy this popped up in my suggestions after all these years.. This was Asmr before they could call it asmr.. If only she could make a comeback bigger and better then ever...
Why are a lot of these comments talking about Islam and Muslims? The video is about Ancient Egypt not Modern Egypt, back when they believes in Ra, Osiris, Isis, etc. There were no Muslims in Ancient Egypt.

Watching in 2015 - takes me back as this was one of the first "whisper" videos that was actually soft spoken and in great quality. Back when the term ASMR didn't even exist yet and I listened to it on my iPod nano! No such thing as an ASMRtist - these guys called themselves Whisperers and they never showed their faces. Anyways, I miss these videos but am too haunted out by her voice to listen to them lol

Whispered 2nd person personal attention ASMR, I guess is what I would call this. There are vanishingly few ASMR videos using this exact set of triggers. Fortunately, there are hundreds of them on this channel.

This is your best yet. I also like the *Soft Spoken* more than the whisper, as it is easier to hear without having to up volume to hear the whispers at a reasonable audibility and getting unnecessary static due to the high volume.
i used to get my grandma to rub my back to put me to sleep and she did the same thing, shed take me through the skies on a cloud over the ocean. i haven't felt that feeling in so long and then i began listening to your voice and i have been put back into that wonderful relaxation . the tingles in my brain and spine help me reach a new level of relaxation, so i really must thank you, it s nice to have that feeling again, i missed it :)

You have the most mesmerizing voice I have ever heard. I could not feel my right arm during the massage. It took a hell of a lot of effort to rip the headphones off me and come back to my senses. Congratulations on putting me in deep hypnosis.

I Really can't thank you enough for this video, the past few nights i have listend to this and i havent been able to thank you because by the end i am either fast asleep or about to drift off. This concept isnt one i would have thought of myself i must say, but the creativity and depth of it is so captivating it's like being in a dream before you sleep and the adventure of it is so awesomely relaxing.

Amazing! I have always been fascinated w/ancient Egypt/Egyptology. One of my patients lives there part of the year and told me that I could visit her anytime , just let her know! I have always wanted to race an Arabian horse across the desert, tour the pyramids, make a discovery of my own. The dreams I have...
A wondeerful idea and well presented. Well I say that but have to confess I never get more than 10 minutes in before I'm fast asleep so no idea how the rest goes :o) Love the spoftly spoken videos with the subtle mixture of volume as the parts where you are practically whispering are more powerful due to the contrast and never fail to send a tingling feeling through my head and down my spine. @TROYisHERE Ehm...the title includes the words "soft-spoken", which is not whispering by default. If I'm not mistaken, there's also a version of this without music, if it's such a distraction. Some people respond to one over the other, while others respond to both. If this didn't work for you, then that's fine, but that doesn't necessarily make it flawed.
