Yes and no, nail knockback is not a viable dash replacement outside of tas, but I can see somebody doing this with fireball boosting, maybe with king soul and spell twister to try and stretch out the number of fireballs useable without stopping. You could find somewhere to sit and pogo while your soul regenerates
