Thank you so much for this video. I have never used a saw in my life but needed to work on my granddaughter's centerpiece (Moana canoe) it was easy to follow your instructions instead of reading. Thank you
I’m just a beginner and I got this saw a good while ago but I'm a bit afraid of it every time I have a go - ...but now I made a track and getting used to it- just one question- my wood is burning - what’s causing that? I just put in a new blade - definitely properly as I followed your instructions - and I didn't go too slow... it was 12mm ply I was cutting... Gill
It is NORMALLY because the blade is dull/dirty and causing the cut to go slow. I am guessing you being afraid of using it - it may cause the cut not to go smoothly. Can you get someone who is an expert to go over the cuts with you? I did something similar when using a huge circular saw - it was so heavy, I was frightened of it and was not handling it well. (That is why I bought THIS saw). I will build myself up to the large/heavy saw, when I have more experience. There is a course on line that I have been considering taking. It costs £17 and is on the channel : Woodworking for Knuckleheads. I am going to take the course as it is well worth £17 to keep yourself safe. People have lost fingers and toes!!!!! Take a look at that channel if you feel in anyway nervous of using circular saws. I am jut enrolling in his Course .
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this tutorial/demo. Just bought this mini-saw - since I am not competent using a heavy/large circular saw yet. I have done a few cuts with the big monster - but too nervous while using it. I am going to give this a go, and build myself up to the big monster!!!! Appreciate your video.
I bought it because I have epilepsy and needed something with an enclosed blade. I didn't fancy the idea of running myself into a saw blade if I have a seizure while I'm working with tools. Plus, I wanted to use lighter tools because of lower physical strength. I honestly don't ever see myself using a table saw unless I can get one where the blade is also covered.
BUYERS BEWARE ⚠️ - I've just received my HYCHIKA mini circular saw from Amazon, and they've changed the specifications. It DOES NOT come with a carrying bag and they've deleted that extremely useful laser sight. So, if you enjoy this useful video review, be aware to look out for which version you're buying.
@@boganshazz821 ours was fine, too; ordered from Lowe's, which was out off the shelf, delivered free. 3 Blades, gauge, vacuum hose, batteries for laser lite and wrenches were all there in that nice bag.
When I look this saw up there is no mention of the laser, did it just come with product? some pics have laser and others do not. hychiaka site does not mention it.
A saw that has to be used with the left hand? What a weird idea, the large part of the base is on the right side which is wrong for most people! Can't even make a normal jig to cut straight if you are righty.
Just bought this and wasn't expecting to find a vid for this no name brand but very happy to have found your vid.. thanks 🙏

Awesome demo video. This helped so much.
Hi, Good review pointed a few points i wanted to know about thanks and YES i'm purchasing this particular saw...
What is the minimum fence width to blade cut dimension? I need to cut out an existing counter top to fit in a new range. Thank you.
Does the laser guide comes with a battery and if so, what size is it because when I open mine up, there was a slot for the battery but nothing in it.
thanks for sharing,very good saw.
Thank you for watching, have a great day:)

I got mine a few days ago and got bag and extra blades. Watching this video to learn how to use

Thank you!
is this tool bivolt?
and what`s about metal?
The battery power laser is the only drawback. It is underpowered especially midway in the cutting of lumber, OSB plywood.
