IMO, Reggie White should have had the most sacks in a season record. In 1987, He had 21 sacks in 12 games. 1987 was the strike year. The first week of strike games were cancelled. Replacement players were used in the next three games until the strike was over. I'm sure Reggie would broken the record if he played in those games.
