I absolutely love this! I am scheduled with Dr. William and December 18. I went in a few months ago for a consult and he told me that I wasn’t ready. Which I already knew mentally and physically I was not ready. But I am preparing myself I cannot wait to my surgery date. Dr. William is the most, transparent doctor I’ve came across. He’s very honest and open. Super excited about this new journey for me.
Dr. William this was AMAZING... I loved this episode.. it felt really good to see that someone else experienced some of the same things I did and to look at her before and after pics gave me that push needed to trust the process. I'm five months post tummy tuck /MR/ lipo 360 and since day one my nurse and family thought I had a BBL. Hell I almost thought I had something done to make this body a TRUE HOUR GLASS. It's amazing... and by the way Dr. Williams when I came back for a follow up you had no problem telling me I had internal fat and I had to lose. 🤣😂.. and yes you was right !!!! I CAN'T STOP LOOKING IN THE MIRROR AND SMILING and I can't keep my husband's hand off 🤗🥰 . You did an amazing job and I'm forever grateful..... When I show my before and after pics people gasp and I'm like damn was i that bad.🤔..LOL😆 Your hands are truly gifted !!!
Thank you! Glad you are happy. I thought this BTM PODCAST was really good and so did Gabby. Laresse and Joshua were so honest and helpful and funny--they were just awesome guests.
This podcast was spot on. I’m almost six months post op and this let’s me know that I’m on track mentally. I feel like Dr. William gave me a great foundation to build on. Now I can focus on easing back into a gym routine with less worry about tearing something on my inside.
Yes at this point you can really get after it--it sometimes feels like things are tearing and burning but that is just nerve pain. At 6 weeks post op patients can lift and work out and do whatever activity they feel like performing.
I am so happy you enjoyed it. I was blown away by Laresse's and Joshua's relationship and how much they helped each other during the whole process. It was so inspirational.
I love how you say that fitness and plastic surgery is connected. I have had 3 big weight losses in my 40 years of life. This last one, after having my daughter and being overweight for more than 8 years, was the hardest on my body and nothing was the same. No matter my dedication. My stomach is not only in pain but forever stretched out.
This video was so helpful! I'm preparing mentally and physically for a tummy tuck and this answered a lot of questions about preparing, recovery & expectations for me! Thanx!!
Glad you enjoyed it! I did too. Lareese and Joshua were so helpful and so generous to share their journey. They are just good people trying to help others. It was a really great podcast to shoot.
Recovering from 360 upper and lower body lift. Whew. Biggest pain of my life! Love hearing the journey while I’m still in it! Ready to be telling my “after” story 😂 thanks for this!
This makes me so sad 😭 I was scheduled with you 3/29 , next month, after waiting 2 years to book 3 surgeries and you move locations !! They tell me my only choice is to go through someone else in the building or I lose $17,000. I’m so so hurt and now SO SCARED. Whereas you always made me so comfortable. I would’ve been in the operating room as if I knew you for years since I’ve been watching you forever ! 💔 you’re an amazing doctor ! Best of luck on your new journeys and congrats on your new beginnings!
That was a really good episode 👏 👌. I'm having a TT in January. I'm considering changing to a whole mommy makeover. I was wondering if you could do something like this with a patient that's had a mommy makeover
WE will have to bring her back! We absolutely loved having Joshua and Laresse on the BTM Podcast--Idk if you listened until the end but they really didn't hold anything back! They inspire each other and all of us in the studio were inspired by them as well!
Thank you Dr William it’s ok to let people know that we have to loose weight. That shows you care and it’s not about the money. I’m sure you don’t remember me from last year but you told me you can’t do the surgery because I had internal fat. And I needed to loose some weight. Then you said bye Felisha lol. Because we laughed I felt comfortable and I trust you I was ok with the decision. I returned year later. I’m now going on 3 weeks post. At first I didn’t understand stand because you said I need to loose weight and I’m like but I did loose it. At the same time you are about to remove the fat for me lol. On this side we don’t fully understand how the process works. We figured we can come in as is, say what we want done, and you are doing the rest. That’s not the case. We go off of results of others and race to that. Then get discouraged upset and felt we waist time and money Etc.. when we get told something we did not want to hear. Yes we may have got upset because we could not have the procedure at that time, but we don’t realize its safety 1st. For a ton of reasons. We have to be honest and say loose weight and say why the importance of it. 😊
Thanks for listening. I thought the BTM podcast was going to be educational and informative and I think it is but I never realized how much fun I would have doing it and it's because of people like Laresse and Joshua that it is so much fun.
@a hardrict it went good , the tummy tuck and lipo on my upper body. My outer thighs it didn't really see a difference with the lipo but I am still happy with the upper body.
Dr. Williams what if you 7 months post-op tummy tuck with repair sometimes I’m flat then other days I have bulging and fullness at top. Very small framed, eat healthy, and workout?
Really informative video. Just the info I’ve been searching for. I really like Dr William but don’t feel too comfortable traveling out of state for surgery. Maybe a breast aug, nothing too much more invasive. 46:51
Dr William I’m so sad that I only find you now if I knew you before I saw your videos I would of got my tummy tuck and my breast lift implant with you 😢 your are so amazing Dr William ❤ I’m on 10 days of my recovery ❤️🩹 and I can’t stop watching your videos. Love from UK 🇬🇧 🫶🏽
La’reese, Josh & Dr. William,Thank you for sharing your candid, honest information with me. I’m scheduled for abdominoplasty in Sept. I’m 66 years old, 5’1”, & 145#s. Weight management has been difficult my entire life. Generally, I’m in good health. I’ve had 2 pregnancies, my ABD muscles are very weak & I have what I’d classify as a stage 1 pannus. I’m having a 2nd consult on Tuesday. Do you think I’m too old to peruse this surgery?
I’m in week three Post op from a fleur de lys abdominal plasty. I’m 70 and I could not lose my belly fat no matter what! I’m a former gym rat who’s life revolved around exercise so to hit retirement and suddenly have this big apron of skin and fat after losing 15 lbs then gaining it back was devastating. I constantly obsessed about the double roll around my waist. So for me it was soooo worth it! I had a complication of my suture line splitting and have to go back for restitching, but I’m still happy that I did it.
@@lesliesnowdon1360I am scheduled for a tummy tuck and breast lift with implants in November. I will be 72 next month. Very healthy, thank God. I am happy to hear that someone closer to my age had the surgery and is doing well. I am curious about how painful you found your surgery and if you feel you are healing well? Thank you!
@dr. William Miami Hello! Will you please make a video showing the lipo you perform on a TT10? Will you explain the difference between Back sculpture and Lipo 360. Many of us future folks are mixed up about what exactly we are signing up for. Please.
I am as confused as you are. I only do a TT2 which is a TT and lipo of the upper abdomen or I do a TT10 which is a TT and lipo 360. I don’t know where the back liposculpture business came from.
@@DrWilliamMiami my coordinator Gabby sent me a invoice/receipt with TT and “back liposculture” on it. I don’t want that. I want a TT with LIPO360 and I want the paperwork to reflect that. I’m almost to the point where I’m going to have to add extra expense to get down there to see you beforehand to make sure I’m going to get the procedures I am requesting when this could all be handled via email. I will delete this last comment after you answer. I am coming straight to you because the communication with the coordinators is not working out. Please help me.
Hey doc I had sx four weeks ago and I had ETT with lipo to flanks i do get lumpy and swollen still will that go away alone or do I need massages in that case?
For my patients who had liposuction whether it is with a tummy tuck or by itself I always suggest massage afterwards. Not for the tummy part but for the areas that were treated with liposuction.
Post tummy tuck and 360 Lipo what did you do for the scar?? I already have scars from my twin pregnancy ..what to do about new scars from the tummy tuck
I created a very simple two step Ogee Scar System. Massage twice a day with the scar gel and wear the silicone strips at night. Super easy and super effective. Link here if you are interested: ogeerecovery.com/collections/ogee-scar-recovery
So grateful for this this informative podcast... Im scheduled for now 9th but I was wondering is there a possibility to go for a whole mommy make over instead of a tummy tuck + lipo??
It may be safe for someone to do all of those procedures at once, but I would only combine a BBL with a TT and a BA in a very small, young, healthy patient who I knew I could complete all of the procedures in under 5 hours. The risk of infection goes up dramatically after 6 hours.
That's a common misconception. When you have your tummy tuck it removes the skin and fat in the front of the abdomen but all of the fat on the sides and back and key area still remains to use for the BBL later.
@@DrWilliamMiami so even if my contract says flanks included? Most likely I will never have another surgery, but that's one of the few places I have any extra fat my bmi is 22. so should I just see if I like the new shape it provides after the lypo? then will I be able to regrow fat not likely due to the skin on my lower abdominal area being cut off I then will have to retain my waight. so it's like a I'm coming to the realization my expectations might be off kilter. I'm not ever going to be a good candidate for a bbl but I can give good shape with what I have. Then maybe in two years time I'll see if I still want a bbl or other fat transfer augmentations.
I cant find any content on why he doesn't do a FDL tt? I love his work but I feel like the FDL might be the best option for me. I wish I could ask his opinion directly
I do do a FDL but most often patients don't want an FDL or if there has been so much weight loss that the patient needs a circumferential body lift I refer them to a post-bariatric plastic surgeon.
I have watching you on podcasts . I learn a lot from your videos how TT10 will flatten the stomach after surgery. I will love to testify like most of your patients too. Please help me to achieve my goal. I am your biggest supporter.
Not unless you were to lose a lot of weight but if you needed to lose a lot of weight you wouldn't be a candidate for a tummy tuck to begin with. But 10 pounds, 15 pounds after surgery won't result in loose skin.
Hi Doc, I called your office to get you to do my surgery but your consultant tried to direct me to a different doctor without a reasonable explanation.
I don't manage the clinic so I can't control these things, but if you email me directly at drwilliammiami@icloud.com I can get you to someone that will help you.
Great video; they are such a cute couple. Dr. Williams you said ask questions so I am asking. I am 3.5 weeks post tummy tuck 10. Horizontally along my incision line it is hard from groin to groin. Why is that, and when will it go away? I love my new belly button, thank you❤️
At three weeks every wound develops 'the healing ridge'--it is normal and will take a few months to soften but that's exactly the way the body heals. Begin to massage your incision with a silicone product (Ogee Scar Gel out in 2 months!) for two minutes twice a day for 12 months.
Hi Dr, You are god sent to everyone of us woman on earth. Good job doctor. Please I need your help . If you can allow me to come for consultation . I would be very grateful . IF I could have the opportunity to see you. I am a nurse here in San Francisco.. I looked forward to here from you. Thank you!
@@LAREESEMICHELLE Congrats Love, you are my motivation. I too decided looking for a great surgeon on UA-cam and came across Dr.William Miami. Hearing his patients speak so highly of him makes me feel better with the decision to move forward with my surgery journey. Thank you for speaking about your personal experience. I truly appreciate this. I wish continued success and happiness for you and your family ❤
I don’t believe one word that she said afterwards she felt nothing. BS! It’s a major surgery, not possible that she won’t feel the pain unless she was dowsed up
Everyone’s recovery is different, but I agree. It was the worst pain in my life, BUT I also had a BBL. My pain was 20/10 the first 2 days, but it did gradually go down. I’m almost 4 weeks and still hunched!
You can hear how surprised I was when she said that, but I have had quite a few--probably more than 30 patients tell me they didn't have much pain after a tummy tuck. Some patients, a lot, told me they only took plain tylenol. Seems impossible to me. My wife told me on the second day after her tummy tuck that she would not have done it if she knew it would hurt that much. 4 months later she is telling her girlfriends how easy it was when we were out for dinner and I just about spit out my food!
Well believe it 😂I had a great post op experience. I documented my entire journey for all to see so no need to lie, the pics and videos speak for themselves @sxlmf2021

He’s probably booked out. They tend to do that or trying to promote the other Dr.
I don't manage the clinic so I can't control these things, but if you email me directly at drwilliammiami@icloud.com I can get you to someone that will help you.
The respectful way to tell a patient to lose weight would be for the best results. Possible weight loss is 100% beneficial.
Weight loss is key to getting the best results after surgery and to decrease the complications from surgery as well.
Thank you!
OF course I am happy to see you in consultation. IF you email Yimey at yimey.drwilliammiami@gmail.com she can help you with scheduling.
This doesn’t apply to me but do what makes you feel good
Can you do a tummy tuck and still have kids after the tummy tuck ?
No. It’s not recommended by any plastic surgeon. You will have to have another tummy tuck if you have another child.
What is the mommy's page so I can follow her story
Her IG is @lareesemichelle
Weird that her and the friend did this at the same time something don’t add up especially having the man care for both of them is strange
We have friends who have surgery on the same day all the time.
What was strange? If you want to see the post op care from day 1 feel free to follow my surgery page @sxlmf2021 😊
@@DrWilliamMiami I guess it’s the result of altered memory+exaggerated tough girl persona
Well believe it 😂I had a great post op experience. I documented my entire journey for all to see so no need to lie, the pics and videos speak for themselves @sxlmf2021
I didn't have pain either. I just had more discomfort. But I am also a vet after having 2 c-sections which is much worse, in my opinion.
What is her UA-cam name or Instagram name?
